This Celebration is in need of some investment and upkeep. The recliners are scratched up, peeling or in various states of visual disrepair. They're still comfy enough, but when the lights come on you see you've sat in a pretty disheveled seat. The projection is pretty good, but these theatres really struggle with sound. It seems to be a newer issue -- I don't remember it happening much during my visits to this theatre years ago -- but you hear rumbling and loud sounds from the theatre next to you quite easily. During the quiet parts of my Dune 2 showing, I could hear Dune 2 music from the theatre next door! The worst part is I wouldn't even say the theaters are loud... sound isolation is just so poor that the movie doesn't sound particularly great and you hear the one playing next door. The good news is these are solvable problems... but they need investment from the company. Hope they put some love into it. read more

$100 for 3 people, but the worst was they were going to throw my 14 year old daughter and her friend out while my wife was in the bathroom. They didn't believe they were there with an adult so they took them to the lobby to throw them out even though they explained that they were with an adult. You have to be 18 to go see a kid movie there. We complain kids are on their phones but they have no activities to go to. Screw you celebration. No wonder your lot is always empty. read more

I just went here to watch trap, I have been to this movie theater multiple times and the popcorn, drinks, and seats are all good and the bathroom is pretty clean too. The seats recline and are very comfortable, I recommend coming to this movie theater because the staff are friendly and it never disappoints. read more

Beware of hidden costs for private viewings. I had a wonderful time renting out a theatre for Valentine's Day, which made a great (albeit expensive) date. I booked a month in advance and coordinated it with celebration, receiving two confirmation emails that we were all set to go. A week before, the coordinator informed me that despite the two communications I received that we were all set, I would need to purchase the movie for the screening. I asked if the price I was paying could be adjusted by $15 (or $15 credit) to cover the cost of the film but she said no. My only complaint was not the cost, it was the fact that I got two confirmations and already held it with my credit card before I was informed there would be extra cost to me in purchasing the movie. Overall I would suggest renting a theatre but beware of hidden costs if you pick a film that is not on their list. read more

Definite 5 stars for the Tuesday $5 movie specials. - 1 star for the low volume during the film. Really had a tough time hearing the dialogue at times. This place is coming on up with the new expanded menu a la GR's Celebration Cinema with a full bar! Also first theater I've been to with self-serve sodas. The addition of reclining seats have decreased the number of seats in each theater, but I've never encountered a full house. Oh! Check their websites because they'll also have movies for $5 on Sundays and Tuesdays in addition to free movies for kids during some months. While it isn't cheap to go to Celebration Cinema, as a special treat I must admit I love it. Their customer service really makes the experience. The food actually gets delievered to your seat, which makes for more of a relaxed experience. I love the chairs and the huge screen, the snack selection is large and they actually have a menu that includes acohol. My husband got a burger and fries which he enjoyed and the fries, which I tried, were so good I might get one next time I come. I recommend coming here if you have cash to spend. It's a fun experience, even if you only do it once. read more

This was a cute movie theater. Plenty of parking spots out front. The staff was very helpful in getting me my ticket and getting me signed up for the rewards program. You choose your seat before going in. Just to note, often they'll have you buy your tickets right at the concession stand. Didn't realize this at first. There was a bar with alcohol but I didn't get anything there. The movie theater itself was clean and small. But the sound and picture quality were exactly what I was looking for. Seats recline and a leg rest comes out with the push of a button. And a nice touch to the place was movie quotes on each theater corresponding to the theater number. Kinda cute. Overall I'd come back to watch another movie here! read more

Needing ID simply to enter the theater has to be some of the stupidest rules and once in the theater the worker who rang us up gave us the wrong show time. Stephen Spielberg's "Ready Player One" came out and we needed an awesome place to see this film. We've been hearing how nice Celebration has become with thier new seats and food menu. Tickets for the 9:30 3D showing for four were $51 (no food or drinks) which is crazy expensive for a movie but I dont regret as the theater came through for quality and this movie needed to be seen in 3D. read more

Benton Harbor has a multi-plex and it's great! I was thrilled to find out there was still a big fancy theater around that was carrying first run movies, with comfy recliner chairs and great sound/video quality. Plenty of parking, and while the entrance is a bit dated, and the box office a bit simple, it still a nice and clean theater. Ample seating in the lobby too. The snack bar is nothing fancy and I'd stick with popcorn and pop here, it would be nice if it felt like they had some more fancy fare, food wise. They do have beer though which is a nice touch. The soda fountain is not a freestyle machine just your standard pop fountain, but despite that, they still had a decent selection, including Diet Mountain Dew which is harder to find when there are fewer fountains. Buying tickets online and picking them up at the box office was easy. The seats are all set-up in pairs. With a center shared armrest that can lift up to make a loveseat. There is a break between the seats so when you're reclined someone's leg will wind up going between the footrests, which is annoying but understandable. I am glad for the cozy comfort of being able to cuddle up during a movie while in the theater, that makes it extra fun. Each row is seperated by a walled rise to the next row, which makes each row feel totally private so you feel like you're only ever sitting with 6-8 other people. That's cool considering we were in a mosltly sold out showing and still felt like it was cozy and not too crowded. The picture was solid, rocking solid updated 4K DLP projection, and good surround sound, I didn't see any certifications outside the theater, so I'd guess SDDS at a mimnum, but would not be surprised if they had some Atmos certified screens. It was a fun expericne and a theater I'd come back to again without questions. read more

I have to say the new updates are amazing. They have a larger selection of comfortable chairs that you are able to recline. They also have a great hot food of selection now! I had the loaded tots which were the perfect meal to go with the movie. It was clean and a comfortable temperature. read more

The theater seemed on the newer side and was clean, and the staff was courteous. Tickets and drinks were still overpriced like they are everywhere, but I like that the soda machine was not located behind the counter, so you could go for a refill without having to queue. Although the theater seemed newer and well kept, the seating was somehow not as comfortable as other movie theaters that I've been in, which is an issue when you're going to be seated for at least 90 minutes. No issues with picture or sound, both were excellent. read more

I really do like this theater and not just because it is the "only game in town" but it does have good features and nice people. I have been here a few times where the sound was not just right. I am heading again today and will review however it seems like sometimes the movies are not in 5.1DD or the speakers are off or something is not quite right. Make sure you do two things: Attend the first show of the day on the weekends and you will get in for about $6.00. A great deal! Second, buy the "all you can eat" popcorn bucket. You can refill even if you are not going in to a movie. When you leave you can refill and take a bucket home for a late night movie. A great deal. read more

My family used to really enjoy coming here. We have seen hundreds of titles here over the years. But now... - They have removed half the seats to make room for these power recliners. They are okay, but the present new problems. -Last week we went to see a movie. Their computer showed them almost sold out. We ended up scattered around the theatre. - Because we were scattered around we could not share popcorn or drink. We had to buy more so everyone could have their own. It got pretty expensive. - As it turned out the theatre wasn't even half full! What was that about? Someone prepaid half the seats and then didn't show? I find that hard to believe. - This week we said we had better make reservations. I tried to. The app is a pain. I went through three or four steps just to find out they didn' have any seats together. You think you could simply change the showtime? No. - I backed out to get a different showtime. Went through the whole process. - Guess what. There is a $4.05 surcharge for making the reservation! In who's world is that right? - When I got the confirmation it was for the wrong movie! Did I hit the wrong button somewhere? Maybe, maybe their app is goofy. - Guess what. There is no accommodation on their app to fix this. Wonderful. - We went home so I could call them. I call, punch the number for customer service, and am told to call another number. Great, now I have to go find a pen. - The guy on the phone asked if I wanted to reserve for the movie we wanted to see. I said not thanks. Coloma isn't that far away. We go to the movies a lot...the guy at the ticket counter was extremely friendly and peppy. He acted like he enjoyed his job. I told my husband we should try to get him to work for us. I also told the manager because it is very hard to find good employees but once you do you should do all you can to keep them. read more

This is a 12 room cimema, with all DLP projectors. They offer 3D and 2D movies. Along with a rewards card and $3 movie showing on sundays (have to check the website as not all movies are $3 just some). The pricing is higher then some of the smaller movie cimema around but if you go a earlier times you can save some money. read more

This place take your viewing experience to another level, they have 14 theaters, always adding new upgrades like reclinable chairs, a bar, fresh cooked food. You will definetly have a high quality experience, but be ready to open your wallet because it is not cheap.
