Bathrooms on site Playground is gated and a pretty big space to play and climb. Ball fields are nice but no cover for dugouts. Lots of parking. Playground was really close to the ball fields so siblings could be real close to parents who were watching baseball. read more

Celebration Park is a decent sized park in Federal Way. It's also a park in King County and automatically you can tell it's better maintained than many of those in Pierce County, specifically in Tacoma. Activities that this park is mostly geared towards is sports as there is several spots for baseball, football and other ball games. Nice walking paths here that take you to a community center nearby and a forested area with several different trails meandering through the trees. Some of these paths link ip to the BPA Trail, a walking and bicycling path. read more

Fun park. Has a great playground for little kids to play on and a fun climbing thing for bigger kids. The bathroom are kind of dirty and we're locked the last time I went there with my 4 yr old niece. Also only has two swings, so it was hard to get a chance on the swings when there are so many other kids. read more

Depending on what you're after, you're either here because it's along the BPA trail, or you're probably here to play/watch some sports! Several baseball and soccer fields allow multiple games at the same time and all of the fields are well maintained and well labeled. There's also a playground to help keep the kiddos entertained and it's a great place to get out and stretch your legs! read more

I was here for the first time last summer during the Special Olympics and what a wonderful place to have gatherings. I'm here this evening for a softball tournament. The fields are spaced well apart so even though every game might have full complement of people watching it, the park is not crowded. There's a concession stand and the grounds are extremely clean. Soccer fields grace the other side of the park. I wouldn't hesitate coming here for either a day or night game and the park is able to accommodate four games at one time. Parking is also plentiful. read more

I've only ever been here for softball tournaments, so my review is kind of limited to that. Great fields from what I've seen and there's like 4 (maybe more?) of them. There's plenty of seating for the amount of people that show up but there's lots of people who bring folding chairs so they can sit in the shade. There's a concession stand that serves basic snacks (popcorn, pretzels, etc.) and candy. Restrooms are kind of gross and trash cans get pretty full, but it's not something you wouldn't be surprised at by a public park. read more

Celebration Park is a good park for the little kids to come and play. They have a small playground with wood chips on the ground and flush restrooms nearby and a drinking fountain. The playground doesn't have a lot to play on, which is why I suggest it's more for little kids, up to age 8, IMO. The park has some sports fields and a trail as well. I've come here just with kids to play and haven't come for a game. However, the sports fields almost always have a game going on. Parking is easy to find and right next to the playground. read more

By the ravens beard of Odin (yeah birds can grow beards. It's a free country!) I have to say that this Federal Way park is one of the best ones I stumble upon. (I did actually got out the first time out of my car and did stumble on it.) Atmosphere: Hop in to the amazing lay out of having enough space for 3 baseball fields that are actually spaced out nicely. (No longer will you make eye contact with another parent that their kid is losing really bad for the 50th time, while you cheer your kid for the 50th time winning and have that awkward walk to the parking lot while you rush to your car and noticed you left one of the kids at field but that parent is rushing to your car so you peel out and pray that your kid will survive and get home.) This park would make Messi smirk to know that they actually appreciate soccer as a sport. (which there's 3? Well two separated fields and one large field that can be used for another 2 fields of soccer. Man that's confusing. Lol just go there! O.o) There's even a BPA trail thats amazing! With a bunch of hills that make great for embarrassing moments on your first run in front of hot girls and homeless people. (I mean these sick puppies weren't created by Jillian Michael's. Sick puppies is calfs. Btw dont hurt me Jillian I was jk._.) This BPA trail is incredible to bring your dog for a walk or run. (Pick up your dog doo-doo Robert. I saw you nonchalantly not noticing you're dog doing the doo. I'm going to pick it up[with gloves or maybe not if I'm crazy] and throw it at you and steal your dog.) Theres even a great trail to run in the nature very calming and awesome. I'd go with a partner just to be safe tho. (Better safe to be sorry or unless you're the person doing that. Lol in which I say stop it.) The kid park inside the park looks like fun a great time to socialize your kids with other kids. (All in all the parents looking at their phones so they won't have to talk to other parents cuz you already talked to them once and... omg they wouldnt keep quiet. God Nancy knock it ooffff) Community: I have gone a lot of times to this park to go running (o.o or do i??? I do..) and the interactions I've had with people are very pleasant. This is a dedicated park for kids and adult sports and its heavily shown every day with a soccer/baseball/walking and runners at a daily basis. (Get ready to hear the emotions of an angry parent heavily dedicated to his child to live his/her dream in every sport possible. Ah... takes me back to my childhood... if I wasnt raised by wolves!) This is a pretty decent park. If you do have the chance to have spare change to contribute to the homeless community. Due to them being in the BPA trail, but I'm not going to lie these people are actually really chill. (Example: Was jogging and was so tired from running. I stooped and said "I can't do this" and from the woods I hear a "Hell yeah you can cutie." From a guy in the woods. [I'm a guy]) lol. Ah, I love these people. The fresh air, nature so beautiful that was probably featured in a Bob Ross episode if he was alive (love buddy), and just a good vibe from everyone. Specially that homeless guy. Such an ego boost. Thanks Mark! Safety: I've never experienced a problem in this park. The craziest thing I've seen is a bunch of squirrels following me and acting super suspicious when I stopped running, but besides that the police station is near by and I see a lot of cops passing through. Although JUST LIKE EVERY PARK AT NIGHT, I would not go. You want to get stabbed?!?! Cuz that's exactly how you get stabbed! Conclusion: Amazing park that's family friendly and people just wanting to improve health and their skills in sport. But I would keep one ear to the forest for the sudden sneak attack of the guerilla squirrels. Taking back the cities to nature! read more

I usually come here when I need to exercise since they are one of the only parks in South King County that has a trail to run on. That trail is the BPA Trail. It's a paved trail that starts a celebration park & runs all the way through Tacoma. No of course I haven't ran the full distance to Tacoma, because that would be crazy. The trail has rolling hills as well. I've never felt isolated on this trail before because alot of people run on this trail as well. Celebration Park itself is nice too. It features huge soccer fields, huge baseball/softball fields, & a nice play area for kids. Overall this is a well laid out park. read more

This is only for kids park section Took my son here today and it was packed!! Lots of fun and at least 3 different size slides for different size children. This park has something for each adolescent age group. There is a bathroom and benches. Also the park is down a little hill encased in a partial cement border and you can sit on that. All in all lots of fun for the kids. read more

This reviews is the solely for the softball fields as I haven't ventured to the other parts, yet. Being a fastpitch Mom, I have traveled to alot of different fields and Celebration is one of the better. Ample parking, good location and they keep the ball fields and bleachers up pretty well. The restrooms which seems to always be an issue for the ladies is supplied well and even has a changing table for the baby, woo hoo! The park itself is an okay in size, but I thought it could have been a little bigger on the size of the actual playground, should've had more swings there. bathrooms are right next to the playground well lit, amazingly warm water option ( don't see that very often in parks) read more

Whenever we were in the Federal Way area and needed a place for the kiddos to get their wiggles out, this was the place! Good sized playground for kids of all ages. One part of the playground is more for toddler to age 5, but the other side has a climbing feature that the bigger kids enjoy. And it's on bark, so you don't get sand all over you! Lots of grassy areas for kicking around the ball (though shade can be lacking). There are some trails that are perfect for walking/jogging/hiking. Good for families and kiddos. This park was one of our favs when we were in the area. It's a great place for the kids to play, and enclosed so you can keep and eye on your kids and still relax! read more

don't mind the sound of electricity buzzing around you? then head to celebration park where you can get your walk/run/bike/rollerblading/dog walking on via the BPA trail. the BPA has smooth paved roads as well as some "off path" that is gravel or grass. also tons of hills to give you the variation you need for your workout. celebration park itself has tons of parking and always seems to be full of families, school students, clubs, etc. it's bright, busy, and definitely an important space to the people of fw. not a bad choice for outdoor fun if in the area! read more

Small park and has no swings for little ones. The swings are for 5 years and up. The park is filled with wood chips and not sand. Kids usually play here for about 30 minutes and get bored. It is often very crowded and crowded with people who do not primarily speak English, which can be frustrating for kids who want to talk with other peers. We go here and watch the fireworks once a year since we've lived in the area for the 4th of July. I go to other parks now but this one will do if you need to get outside or your little one(s) do. read more

Other then the ball fields and soccer fields this park needs help. It can be soo much better. It buts up to the Bpa trail and theirs trails all thru the woods. Issues I have is the playground is small. Always packed. More kids then space. They need a spray Park as well. Walking in the woods with my son and niece I was so grossed out by all the used toilet paper and needles scattered in the woods. It looked like the bathroom of the homeless. There was soo much trash in there I turned my kids around. Some of you might be saying. Don't take your kid in there. We'll a little boy loves trails. I can tell you I won't be back.
