Took my baby boy to the park twice in the last month, first time was on September 19, 2025 and then again today, October 14, 2025. Both times were in the early afternoon time. Walked around a little bit, played at the playground and relaxed a bit. He seemed to like the park. Both instances were pretty calm and chill. There weren't too many cars parked at the parking lot nor were there a lot of people. So, it was actually enjoyable to take in the nature and simple views of the park. Walked to the Vietnam War Memorial as well. A decent park for a nice stroll and to visit. read more

Les Gove Park is just easy. I stopped by for a little bit and ended up walking around longer than I meant to because it has a comfortable feel and a layout that makes sense. Good for families, a casual walk, or just being outside for a while, and the convenient spot does help. Worth keeping in mind when you just want to get outside! read more

Les Gove Park is a fairly sizable park in Auburn near the library. During the warmer months this park hosts the weekly farmers market. This park has a little bit of everything for everyone. From a climbing wall to playgrounds (ADA swings, anyone?!), bocce courts, and even plenty of rental areas for that special event. This park also houses the White River Valley Museum which has a good amount of info on our local history. Overall this is a lovely park to stop by if you're in the area and the weather is nice! read more

It's not my favorite park in the area but because of the ammenties for kids I give it 4* Be prepared to meet some interesting people here, there will be some homeless individuals sleeping in the park, which doesn't bother me. There is also the library right next to the park so be on the lookout for suspicious characters it is auburn after all ... don't leave valuables in car.. ALWAYS HAVE AN EYE ON UR KIDS. Other than that I think the park is great! Lots to do for kids and great little trails for strollers, bikes, scooters! Fun splash park and swing sets and toys! read more

This is a bit of a hidden gem we just found. We were itching to try out a different "splash pad" on a recent summer day, and were surprised by the overall high quality of the playground. Les Gove is right behind the Auburn Public Library and just off the main road, so we were amazed that we had driven right by it several times without knowing it existed. There is ample parking in the library lot, and it appears it isn't restricted to library patrons. We started with the fountains, which although a little outdated due to the sun (the faded colors reminded me of the 80s), the kids definitely enjoyed it. From my selfish point of view, I loved the amount of seating around the fountains, as well as all the shady spots. The kids soon grew curious and eyed what looked to be a nice playground. After drying them off we walked over to play and wow, what a pleasant surprise! It appears the playground has been recently updated with some really cool features for all ages. From the huge disc swings you can lay in, to the neat slide design, to the overall layout, this is easily one of the best playgrounds on the south side. Another neat feature was the exercise equipment for parents who want to exercise while their kids play. Great idea! There was plenty of grass to lay the picnic blanket out and enough shady trees to get a respite from the [unusually] hot sun. Overall, great park and we consider ourselves lucky to have found another nice one close to Kent. I strongly recommend bringing the family here. And go ahead, I dare you not to play on the playground yourself! read more

I can't rate the actual park since I didn't go there, but this is for the little individual room that was rented for a birthday party we went to. It was a little small but it included a small kitchen and two rest rooms, a fireplace, tables and chairs for adults and children. Enough for about 50+ people? One thing that disturbed me was the vent coverings were partially broken to where a small child can get their foot stuck in, which my son ALMOST got it stuck in until I told him to stay away from there. So before you rent a room from this park place, check to make sure its SAFE for children, especially if its a childs party. read more

Great park in Auburn. Great play and grassy areas! They have a great "water park". The hall is where my husbands family hosts all their family parties. It is on the smallish side but is always clean and has easy access for the older relatives (plus it is cheap - I think $60 for 3 hours.....). read more

An awesome place! My kids LOVED this place. Various activities for the kids to do and it's right by the library.

Came for the annaul trunk or treat event. Geared towards kids 10 yrs and under. Lot of kids participated. Dont think all of the vendors were prepared. Maybe next year, Thank you city of Auburn foe providing a safe place. read more

The little party building awesome..when u reserve it..it includes the outside patio too..which has 2 or 3 more picnic tables..very worth it for the money..20 dollars an hr..has kitchen. Deposit is refundable..20 dollars..at the time i used facility ...sept 2014...the park although newly upgraded...does NOT HAVE NEARLY ENOUGH SWINGS....NORMAL SWINGS.. It has 2 saucer swings..not for a little one. 1 harness style swing way too big for my grandson..he falls through and theres 1 regular swing.. Steel lake parks play area is much much bigger. And is more accommodating to the tiny tots read more

At first glance this park appears beautiful. The splash area and the playground is unique. My granddaughter and I especially loved the xylophone and the pipes to play tunes. I'm only giving this park 2 stars because of the young men and women hanging around by the bathrooms smoking cigarettes and marijuana. It's not a smell you can hide. No security anywhere! I won't take my granddaughter back because of that. How safe is it? Then we saw, not sure if they were homeless or not, sleeping on the grass. Not a park I can recommend sadly. read more

So I have mixed feeling about this park thus, the reason for my 3 stars. I used to come here quite often for the large park area and every summer for the splash pad or water park area. It is a great place to bring the kids to stay cool on those hot summer days. They can go back and forth between the play area and the actually playground. Its a large park so even on a busy day I never felt crowded. I never went over to the other side of the park but there is a either a soccer or baseball field of some sort and what looked like a shuffle board I believe. There is two parking areas although I believe one is mainly for the Community Center where you can rent for birthday parties and such. Now for the down side, over the years this place has seemed to attract a lot of the homeless people and with that, lots of questionable activities. Our last visit just on the other side of the main restrooms there had to have been what looked like 25+ homeless people just drinking bottles of beer and smoking away(both cigarettes and marijuana). Although I have no problem with either of those activities it does make for an uncomfortable and unsafe environment, especially for the children. read more

I'm shocked by how they have changed this park from a great place for handicapped, disabled & elderly to take their kids & grandkids to a place that is inaccessible. No longer can you drive up to the rental and load & unload your supplies now you must carry them about 50 feet. Police can no longer drive by & see the park. I can no longer watch my grandchildren playing from my van on days my caregiver isn't there to unload & load my power chair. Just sad how all the cities are saying handicapped & disabled people not welcome here. read more

Checked out the park hoping to find an awesome park for the kids to play. Within five minutes of arrival, I observed a drug deal going down and several rough characters loitering nearby. Although the park appeared to be really neat with a lot of cool structures for kids to play on, this is not a place I would feel safe for my kids to be. In addition, the neighborhoods surrounding the park are sketchy. read more

This park is incredible! The layout is great, the parking is ample, and the grounds are beautiful. Very dog friendly, too.

This park is so cool they have an awesome playground and I love the splash park in the summer. They have great events at the park that are really fun to go to with kids. The bathrooms definitely need a upgrade desperately. It is great that it is close to the library read more

Great park! The splash pad is colorful and fun. There are lots of shady spots for parents near the splash pad and in the park area. There is even a fitness area off to the side of the park so mom and dad can work out while the kids play. The whole thing seems well designed for a quick stop or a family gathering. If your child likes to play in the sand, bring a few sand toys for the well sized sand pit. We'll definitely be back! read more
