We hired this company to do face painting/Minnie Mouse for our daughters 2nd Birthday. She arrived on time, was extremely friendly & set up quickly! She was absolutely AMAZING with all the kids, the face painting & balloon twisting she did a great job on! Then it came time for Minnie Mouse, our 2 year old was over the moon to have Minnie Mouse there!! I called and asked what characters they had available for a Halloween themed party. She assured me she'd be able to accommodate and she'd send photos. 2 days had gone by with no contact. After 2 more calls with empty promises, I never received confirmation of any character or pictures whatsoever. She was very convincing and I had almost put all my eggs in one basket. Thank Goodness Pure Imagination Party's got me a character and although we wanted two, we at least had one for our party. I booked the transformers characters months in advance, made the required deposit, kept ongoing communication and even received the final conformation invoice. The day of the party I decided to contact them in the morning. As soon as Nicole (the representative in charge of scheduling and booking) answered the phone I knew there was something wrong based on her confused questions regarding what characters I had asked for and if i was sure it was for that day. She stated she will call me back to confirm. Around 3 o'ock I called back because I still hadn't received an update but there was no answer. After leaving two voice messages asking for an update, Nicole returned my phone call. She apologized that she did not have someone to come perform at my sons birthday party which I had scheduled months in advance, made a deposit and received a confirmation. Nicole stated that she forgot to put it on the calendar. As you can imagine I was very upset and disappointed because I cannot understand how an ongoing conversation with deposits, not one but two deposits and a confirmation invoice with everything scheduled does not get put on the calendar; yet they don't forget to charge, they don't forget to let you know that if you cancel last minute you lose your deposit. She also stated that she had not called me back earlier Because she had been trying to get someone to come and provide the services hired. She stated that she had been contacting over 20 different companies trying to get someone to perform the Transformers which were the characters I had requested. She offer to send the characters to perform at another date for free or even at my son's school which I almost found insulting because the plan was for them to come entertain at a birthday party, not another time and not at that school which I don't even think they allow. She also offered to send someone to do face painting and balloons which was not the original plan. I was extremely disappointed and accepted the face painting- considering I needed some kind of back up plan since it was last minute. Though I appreciate her attempt to make up for her very unprofessional mistake, it does not make up for the fact that she failed to provide the entertainment originally scheduled. One of the things she said that upset me the most was that supposedly something like this had never happened and she didnt understood how it did, yet I went back to check additional reviews and apperately its not the first time this company cancels on the day of the event, according to previous reviews. Highly recommended. The company overall was very professional and courteous with good communications. We hired Patrick for our superbowl party (60 adults, 15 kids ages 2-6). I didn't really know what to expect having never done something like this, but he was beyond anything I expected. First off, his balloons were a huge hit and the best I've seen-- all the adults were impressed, and my 2-year-old is still carrying around her balloon ladybug which she loves. I've never bothered leaving a review before but I just had to for this. I attended a Christmas party with a Santa. I thought he was an inebriated friend of the host who dressed up for fun. He was a young thin man with black facial hair. The beard was pulled down to reveal his black mustache. He had a pillow in his shirt and you could see its corners and the belt where it was tied on. Weird scarf, dirty old costume, and the man sat in a chair and didn't move the whole time - thought he was as. When I approached him to take a photo (for the sole purpose of sharing the horrible appearance with others at home) he asked me if I had been a naughty lady that year. Luckily this was an adult party so we all just laughed, but had it been a child's event, dreams would be shattered. He had no Santa voice or persona and looked like something out of a Hangover movie. Horrible experience with this company. Hired a face painter, ballon twister, and a Ninga Turtle character for my sons birthday and I was extremely disappointed. The Ninga Turtle Character showed up with an old turtle costume. But not only was it old it was dirty and torn in many places. They emailed me a picture of a completely different turtle that supposably was coming. And to add to this emberrasment the face painter refused to do full face painting and only did painting on one cheek or on the arm. The girl seemed to not know what she was doing i wouldn't be surprised if she wasn't a real face painter because her work was so basic I could of done the work myself.
