His show was the highlight of our night, and we've spent the last two days talking about his magic to everyone who will listen lol. His show had everything from card tricks to hypnosis to mind reading. The entire time it seemed everyone that volunteered was having fun and comfortable. As an audience member I thought Johnny was engaging and funny too. It brought a wonderful light to our night and he even stayed after to chat with folks too.

Huge shoutout to Omni Magic Entertainment for an incredible performance at the SCPMG after hours celebration. The magician went table to table and completely blew everyone away. Rings were disappearing right in front of us, marks and signatures were somehow appearing out of nowhere, and nobody at our table could figure out how he was doing any of it. The biggest moment was when one of the girls at our table was hypnotized. Watching it happen live up close was unreal and had the whole group laughing and amazed at the same time. My friend hired Johnny for his birthday party event and it was one of the coolest shows I've ever seen! His show lasted about an hour and went through a variety of different tricks including card tricks and hypnotism. Johnny was able to really involve the entire crowd and interact with different members of the audience to allow for a very intimate show. His ability to adapt to each situation and have good rapport with each person made it a really fun time for everyone. As someone who is very skeptical about hypnosis, it was really wild to see this happen to our close friends and have them controlled like a puppet. I would highly recommend this experience and would love to see Johnny perform again. read more

So the first time I saw Dylan George it perform it was at a kids party a few years ago and it was a really fun show. All the kids had a great time. My wife recently booked him for a surprise birthday party for me that was adults only. I know most people might not think about getting entertainment for an adult's party but it was a great change of pace. Wonder and amazement has no age limit! Everyone had a fantastic time and had a lot of fun around the show. Even after he left we kept talking about how he could have possibly pulled the performance off. I would definitely recommend and would say he's great for all settings: kids, adults, everyone. I'm really grateful to my wife for planning it and I'm grateful for Dylan for being such an amazing performer. read more

I was fortunate enough to see Johnny Wu perform at a big partners day for Broadcom's technology organization. I have seen a lot of magicians, been to magic castle, been to many Vegas shows, and somewhat geek out on it. Mr. Wu was extraordinary as I left really, really mystified on some of the tricks he pulled, where typically I can figure them out and/or have seen before. Was not the case here. So while his delivery and showman-ship are top notch, it was not just the way he executed the tricks, it was also the creativity of them, and now I really need to see him again as I cannot stop thinking about how these tricks are done. read more

I never knew how divisive magic could be until we mentioned to our friends that we were interviewing magicians. There was a lot of skepticism ("Isn't magic kind of cheesy?", "Will he wear a top hat and cape?"), but on the day of, our guests were stunned in the best of ways. Nothing brought me more joy than to hear the "OH MY GOD!" and "OOHH's" from across the room throughout the nearly 2 hour performance throughout the crowd. Our friends and family are still raving about the close-up magic they experienced-some of these encounters truly left them speechless. Joseph's brand of magic and showmanship is sophisticated, engaging, and energetic without being "too much." Bringing Joseph on board as one of our vendors was one of the best decisions we could have made about our wedding and we're so thankful for his artistry and ability to create a one-of-a-kind experience for the evening. I first saw Johnny Wu perform at a large birthday event and it was spectacular! The event itself can best be described as a "mini" wedding. Think guest list, nice restaurant venue, decorations, photographer, etc. I mention this because Johnny can adapt his performance to any type of social situation / event space. He was able to captivate a large audience across a very diverse age range, from 2-3 year olds to adults. That is VERY difficult to pull off (little kids can easily get distracted and parents can be very skeptical), but he was able to do that with such ease. I distinctly remember him making his way around the room, showing tricks to smaller groups. That was nice because he made sure to personally connect with different groups of people (especially the shy kids). I don't know if that's part of his regular routine or if it was because of the large venue space. Either way, it worked and was much appreciated as my 2 kids were able to see magic up close. He was approachable, professional and great with the kids. His main show was very entertaining. I've been to many fancy kid parties before (and don't get me wrong, they've all been a pleasure to attend for different reasons). I first saw Johnny perform his magic at my friend Cliff's wedding. At first, I thought it was all fake, until he personally blasted my mind! He came over to me with a deck of cards in his beautiful soft hands and told me to pick a card. He had me place the card in the deck and he guessed it. Simple stuff, you say? Well, he had me sandwich that same card in my 2 hands and then he cast his voodoo Abra-Cadabra shit and before you know it, the card changed color from red to blue! IN MY HAND! OMG! I was like stunned and stuff. I couldn't believe how he did it. The 2nd time I saw this guy, he was even better! It was at my friend Danda's wedding and he performed the most amazing magic I have ever witnessed in person. It's completely different seeing this kind of stuff live rather than on TV. It is guaranteed to blow your mind. He's so talented and makes it look so easy! I have to look up other words in the dictionary to describe his sensational magic. It's that good. No lie. I had created a very positive review for Johnny back in 2014 but it never made it to Yelp for some reason. I want to state that Johnny was a tremendous magician who showed up at our company party. He wasn't listed as one of our corporate activities so when he showed up most of the company employees thought he was there for just the kids... but "NO WAY!" He was a very impressive young magician who has a large repertoire of magic to fall back upon. Johnny is technically savvy and unlike most magicians he uses a microphone so that you can hear him from the back of the audience. He uses current tunes ranging from hip-hop to top 40 as background music which gives him a fresh and fun persona. Don't feel that he is just a "kid's magician" because he appeals to all age groups. I still don't know how he did the moving card trick on a non-moving sheet of paper?!? He will do his best to get everyone involved and succeeded in entertaining all of our employees. I would hire him knowing that he is an entertaining and articulate young man deserving of all praise that have been bestowed upon him in this forum. read more

Johnny was at our company party last December, and he was WICKED (no pun intended)!!! Everyone had so much fun - his talent deserves recognition. Ok, enough with the headlines, let's get down to the details: John was very professional from day one, which is odd for entertainers sometimes. He answer every single one of our inquiries and quoted us ahead of time with available dates and time. Once we committed on a date, he followed through as agreed, I can really appreciate this because I don't have the time to chase magicians. On the date of the event, John made sure that everything related to his performance was ready - needless to say he showed up on time and prepared. The Banquet Room in Pasadena worked very well for his show, and the crowd never lost sight of his performance. He's pretty good at getting the audience interested and engaged. I recently threw my husband's 50th birthday and booked Johnny as a surprise for the party. I had done a TON of research and Johnny's videos stood out to me as a different from your typical magician. I honestly couldn't have been happier! We booked him for one hour, but ended up having him stay for three. Our guests were blown away and couldn't get enough. He truly made the party. I loved how he infused the celebration with lots of excitement and joy, but it didn't take away from the rest of the gathering. People are still talking about the magic that they saw. "Wow" Does not give Johnny Wu enough credit. This was the most amazing thing I have ever witnessed. We booked him for our Corporate Holiday party last year in Beverly Hills. Along with his magic, he was funny, witty, nice, and engaging. He put on more of a "show" than just his magic. He made sure that every single person was involved in at least one of his tricks, and wanted the entire group to feel included. On top of this, his magic was the best I have ever seen. Some of the things he did were absolutely mind-blowing and like nothing I have ever seen before from any other magician.
