We had a Stitch themed birthday party this weekend for my daughter. We got the package with the facepainting, balloon animals/objects (LOL), and characters. During the hour and a half, the super fun factory team was very attentive to the kids. Phillip the owner, also showed up and put the extra care to make sure the party went down without a hitch. All the kids had a blast. He had them singing and dancing. It was great. They were very responsive, and accomodating, since we had to the change the time mid way in. Terrible. Terrible. TERRIBLE. Awful. Dreadful. IT'S A CATFISH!!!!!! I found their website like many of you on Apple Maps. Long story short: it was an UTTER embarrassment! This guy entered a house full of doctors, lawyers, law enforcement, and other such distinguished people--and their respective children, nieces and nephews--looking a MESS. Before moving on, just take a look at what I EXPRESSLY asked for, and then take a look at what I got. Rewind. I found their website in early August and booked for a party at the end of August. I identified a party character on their website consistent with what I was looking for. I reached out to the number on their website. Having been burned by dirty and disshelved looking party characters in the past, we were really specific that we wanted the character pictured because "spidey_far" was perfect and his costume appeared neat. At no point did they indicate that the character I thought I was booking was not the character I'd be getting--they instead directed me to the form to get it setup, so, I proceeded to immediately fill out their form and then I promptly paid the deposit for the Gold Superhero Package, which allegedly includes 90 minutes face painting, balloon twisting, and the character. Fast Forward to the day of the birthday party, which I booked for the 1pm slot. They hit me up informing me they would be 30 minutes later than expected -- but I didn't make a stink about it because what was I gonna do? They had us by the balls - it's literally the day of the party, so, I play nice and don't even complain about it; moreover, I instinctively read their fine print indicating they might change the booked appointment time by 30 minutes if they want to--cute. Anyway, they ended up showing up a bit after 1:30. When they finally arrive, they call me and tell me they're outside. A young lady comes up with her bag and says she's there to do face painting. We immediately are like - where's the spiderman? She's like, oh, he comes at the end - it'll just be me for the first hour. I'm like, girl what? Again, they have us by the balls, so we just let her in and show her to the backyard where the kids are. About 30 minutes later she finds me and tells me she's done with face painting, and that there would be no balloon twisting (not because of time, which is the limitation noted on their website) but because her machine was broken. I offered her an electric pump we specifically use to pump balloons with regular air and she claims it won't work for her purposes. So, balloon twisting - canceled during the event, again, not because they didn't have time (because she still had plenty) but because she somehow suddenly discovered her machine wasn't working. Unbelievable. Again, whatever. She goes outside and returns with the spiderman. When he walked up, I almost fainted! I was so confused. He looked nothing like the iteration on their website which I specifically requested. He was COMPLETELY disheveled, his uniform looked dirty, and he had on DINGY untied air force ones!!!!!! Then, some of the guests noted he had a bun sticking up in the back of his mask, and literally all of the guests made a remark afterwords about the dirty air force ones and baggy outfit. Believe me: I was absolutely HORRIFIED at the sight of him, but once again, they had us by the balls and the birthday boy was really really expecting spiderman to appear at his party. Anyway, we lead him to the area where we're doing the birthday cake cutting and he was so awkward and just overall didn't seem to know how these things go or what he could do to make it fun. It's like, dude, you work at a place called the "Super Fun Factory" -- why are you just awkwardly standing there rocking back and forth like a bobblehead? Anyway, after a few minutes of the birthday song, the face painter then advises that he'd spend the balance of the time with the kids jumping in the jump house. We were OK with that. After about 15-20 minutes of that, she returned and basically said they were done and leaving. Mind you, the full 90 minutes isn't even done yet. I again don't make a stink about it and just show them out and thank them for coming. A DISASTER. I SWEAR THE NEXT TIME WE DO CHARACTERS ONLINE, WE'RE GOING TO NEED TO SEE THE CHARACTER IN PERSON--IN COSTUME--BEFORE PAYING. Lesson learned. If I had to say one good thing, it's that the character, face painter, and their booking agent were friendly. Still, my overall recommendation: AVOID. read more

Do not book this company. I booked them 3 months in advance for my daughter's birthday. I paid the deposit and the day of the performer did not come at the scheduled time. I called and was told they made a mistake in scheduling, sent the performer late! My 5 year old was already waiting. A woman came in dirty and ripped attire showed up the last 30 min I requested a refund due to their unprofessionalism. They agreed in writing. This was in August. Over a month and a half later I followed up 3 times, told them today if I didn't not hear back I would br reporting this incident. I got a response with. Refund had been denied. This man has no word and pleased do not book with such a vile company who will ruin your daughter's special day and take your hard earned 250 without a delivery of services. Do NOT book with them. I wish I could give them negative stars. 9.20 update to his gaslighting immature response. He attacks all Truthful reviews. Attached pictures show he changed the time June for an event in August (lie it was a week). Lie I'm giving him a bad review becasue I was "denied" a refund. I'm giving him a bad review for failing to schedule and coordinate the event and for confirming in writing a partial refund for his acknowledged error and then GHOSTING me. We had a great experience with Super Fun Factory. Our daughter's 3rd birthday was so much more special and fun thanks to the talent we hired through Super Fun Factory. I highly recommend getting a princess or character that can speak and do games. We had Princess Aurora (Sleeping Beauty) at our party and she was top notch. She was amazing with the children and her face painting was on point. She really engaged with the children in the games and helped me pass out cake and also in managing the children's excitement for the cake... many little fingers wanted to dive into it before it was ready. We also had Paw Patrol's Marshall which was a great addition for the boys. The performer did balloon animals and other fun creations while Princess Aurora did face painting. She was out of costume for this part. She had some really fun balloons that had sprinkles inside and you could shake and made noise like a maraca. Very fun! Note that if you have grass the balloons may pop. When it was time for our friends to go, the children didn't want them to go, or wanted to go with them haha They were a lovely addition to the celebration. The joy they brought to kids was priceless. Phil was also very easy to communicate with throughout the planning time. I actually had initially intended to have two Paw Patrol characters and then changed my mind as my daughter just recently started really getting into princesses. Everything was very smooth. Note you have to put a deposit when booking, which you can do through Zelle. You have to pay the balance ahead of time if you are using Zelle. You can pay balance the day of but it has to be cash. Also, you'll want to have a small table and two chairs set up for the face painting. Highly recommend Super Fun Factory and Princess Aurora. Based on latest text (see screenshot) they've decided to not return my deposit because of my Yelp review. Zero integrity. Adding screenshots of our texts as further confirmation of exactly what happened. 6:30 Sunday they were supposed to be there. I texted and about an hour or so later got confirmation no one was coming. To suggest that I was told about this mix up as though it was communicated in advance is inaccurate. I changed date before I paid deposit or had formal contract. To mention it makes it seem like it was my fault characters didn't show up. To refuse to send me back my deposit because of my 100% accurate Yelp review only reinforces what a terrible company this is. I requested a quote online and received a response within an hour . The prices are amazing with the packages , I had previously looked at other face painting pages and their prices were very high and you either picked face painting or balloon making, and they didn't include the entertainment. The owner Phil was very nice , I made my arrangement via text (I'm a millennial so this is my preferred way of communicating haha) . The week of , Phil reached out to confirm the event and the day of , the ballerina character was on time and with a smile ready to go. As soon as she walked in she went straight to my daughter and was ready to face paint and create balloons. All of our guest took pictures with the characters. My son was very happy and we were as well. I found the owner to be very nice and kind. I would definitely recommend this company for parties. I am a very difficult person to deal with. The type of work I do and the type of demands people place on me have made me very very demanding. The phrase "you get what you pay for" applies 100% in life and because I consider my work and what I do the best, I expect the best in everything and everyone. I had to confirm as they never sent a text with details for that day. When the two girls arrived they asked if I knew how it worked. Spoke to Phil, he was very informative of how everything worked and went over with me pricing and details. It was last minute and yet he was able to accommodate the date I wanted. A mother's worst fear for her kids birthday party was mine. I booked super fun factory for my kids Pokémon birthday party. I booked the start time to be 315 and the End time to be for 415. At 3 o'clock I decided to text the number to ask how far my Pikachu mascot was. The person on the other side responded back and said he would call the mascot right away and have him call me.I receive the call 20 minutes which was 5 minutes late at that point from the mascot saying that my party was scheduled for 4 PM which is incorrect. He said he was really sorry and that he would still give me my full hour but the problem was the hall I was in was booked only until 430. He asked me if I still wanted him to come which I answered yes. I mean I promised my kids that Pikachu would come to their party. He showed up at four and was literally there for 15 minutes. To make things worse he asked if I had a speaker which I didn't and they included that in my original booking request. He threw the blame on his boss and said that he never told him that there was no speaker. So Pikachu Kaman with absolutely no music. I was so disappointed in what had happened.
