As soon as I found the website for Be in Love, I looked no further. I could tell their aesthetic was pleasing and I'd be sure to find something I liked! We worked with Erin and her team on the Save the Dates, Invites, Reception Materials, and Thank You Cards. They were always timely and professional. Even in meetings, when my fiancé and I didn't always see eye to eye, Erin was always patient with us. She also offered helpful recommendations on colors, patterns, as well as best practices on timelines. Initially I thought we'd create our own invite with her expertise, but given we were in a bit of a time crunch, we just went with one of her templates. It ended up looking great and I was pleased with the outcome. We got engaged in November and our wedding was in June. If I had more time, I would have loved to create our own template, which I'm sure takes more time/meetings. We had an initial meeting to discuss Save the Date, and a separate meeting to discuss the invitations. We also had a third meeting because we were doing some reception materials (cake flavors, bar menu, welcome sign, etc) through them as well. Aside from the meetings, everything is pretty much all done via email where you are emailing what you need, adjustments to patterns, colors, guest list, etc. It does get to the point where you have a massive email chain with multiple emails, which makes it difficult to see what you sent and when-- and that's just how I feel, I can't imagine how it feels for them having so many emails from different clients. So it would be helpful if they got some type of messaging system in place as opposed to just emailing. I'm not sure how that could work but I'm sure there is some type of business platform that allows client messages. There were so many emails at one point, that they did miss that my address had changed by the time we did the Thank You cards. Fortunately, I had the email showing where I had asked them to update the address. They owned the mistake and quickly got the updated envelopes printed. Overall, I can't imagine using anyone else for your wedding needs. Definitely recommend!

It's a great stop for gifts. They offer lots of cute trinkets, stationary, specialty paper and everything in between! It's not huge by any means, but they pack in full and have a great counter space for consultations for custom stationary. I really enjoyed visiting and found some fun paper to work for my projects, which was all reasonably priced, but they specialize more with invitations, verse having an extensive amount of paper for home projects or crafting. I still really enjoyed my visit and would absolutely pop in whenever I am in the area or if I needed custom invitation! The examples they had out were beautiful!

We were in town for my brother's ASU graduation, which happened to fall on Mother's Day weekend. I was searching for Mother's Day activities that didn't involve food (so much of the graduation festivities were ALL about food), and I came across Light + Bark. I decided to book a candle pouring reservation for our group of seven, and was grateful they still had availability on such a busy weekend. I've done candle pouring before, and it's been more of a private experience, where we had the space to ourselves. Light + Bark has a bit different of a layout ... the candle pouring takes place right in the middle of the shop, and felt a bit crowded at times for a larger group like ours. Even still, the instructors made us feel welcome, and encouraged us as we selected our scents! They even had free mimosas for Mother's Day, which was such a thoughtful touch to make moms feel special. The scent selection is expansive, and we especially loved the desert-themed collection. We felt the pricing was fair for the experience as well ... it's $38 for a small vessel, $48 for a medium vessel, and $58 for a large vessel. We ended up getting really into the scent mixing process, and had a great time smelling everyone's final products! The candles take two hours to set, and then you can pick them up at your convenience during regular shop hours. I'd definitely recommend this experience to anyone looking for a unique way to celebrate, and you could absolutely pair your experience with brunch reservations elsewhere in Old Town.

I was just standing around my first time in with a canvas in hand and stretcher bars that I didn't know how to use. One of the staff came over and said "you look lost, come with me" and took me over to the table to check the size of the canvas and make sure that I got the right bars to fit (I didn't initially). Been here twice, drive about 40 mins to get there and the second time I had painted a gift for my…read moregrandpa and it came out with paint that faded in the kiln and shards of clay on my stuff as well. Spent about $80 for 2 small things to paint, then I called with pictures and they offered me a free studio fee which is only $12-$15 or whatever and that quote on quote "sometimes the kiln hates us". To me, thats not a guarantee and should be stated to the customers, why would I want to pay that much again for it to be ruined? It took the manager 3-5 business days to call back but I was busy at 1-2pm on a business day. I have to work so I can afford that negative $80, and cant even use my items because there's ruined with shards. Did not fix the customers satisfaction, and I have already been so negatively communicating about this place.
