No wine, your feet sit in the water for 2 minutes at most, they do your nails the second you sit down, no relaxation no massage no nothing. By far the worst pedicure of my life. If you gave this place no stars, you must have been here when Tina was out or you can't appreciate a good nail salon when you're in one. This and one other salon are the ONLY two salons I will go to. Tina is amazing! My nails always last, look professional and fantastic - each and every time. I live right behind this building in the townhomes and it's the most convenient thing to just walk over. Sorry, but I gotta give this place a 2.5. I rounded down due to the mediocre service. I got a manicure there on Sunday. I walked in, picked my color and sat down. The girl who did my nails literally said nothing the entire time. No how are you, no small talk even, nothing. You could kinda tell she despised her job and didn't want to be there at all. I know you're not really supposed to be chatty during a mani, but I just wish she had seemed a little more friendly or interested. Afterwards she took me to a little hand dryer and didn't say thank you or anything. The hand dryer was only for 4 minutes, and my nails were definitely not dry at that point and got a little messed up. Having just moved to Plano from out of state, i needed to find a new salon. Tina and crew were great. Got a full set, spa pedi and brow wax. Very reasonable prices and great customer service. Massage chairs were wonderful, spa pedicure included hot stone massage. I will definitely be back! read more

Less than exciting. No wine. No frills. I walked in at the end of a long day hoping to relax a bit and enjoy being pampered with a glass of wine (as I feel that is pretty common for nail salons these days-especially in this area!); however, I should have suspected something when I noticed there were no customers. I made a reservation for 6 people to get mani/pedi's a week in advance.. When we arrived there were only 4 technicians total working therefore they had to bounce around to take care of everybody.. 2 1/2 hours later half of us still were waiting on a service. I ended up only getting the pedi before I had to say "never mind it's taking so long I gotta go".. That being said the services that were completed were a nice job.. Worst experience ever. Do no go here!! The male tech that was doing my dip manicure was so rushed he nicked 3 of my fingers so bad that I bled. The manager had to step in to try and make the manicure look like a child had not done my nails since the dip powder was so bumpy, but all the manager did was drill down the powder so Low that I can see my nail thru a thin layer of what was left. The pedicure I received was a waste of money and time. I could of painted my own nails with a blind fold and ended with a better result. At the end of this horrible experience the manager apologized and I voiced how unhappy I was with my end results, which led to nothing but charging me the full price of $95. I spent all that money and in the end had to go to a different salon to fix everything. read more

I am visiting from out of state and wanted to get a manicure and pedicure. I walked in and am so glad I did! The service was great! Complimentary drinks, comfortable massage chairs, and a very clean environment. I had a pedicure and paid extra for callous removal. The tech was incredibly thorough and the hot stone leg massage was great. I also got a basic manicure and that comes with an arm massage. The total was about 57 dollars for both, which is more than reasonable for what you are getting. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place for quick, friendly service. read more

Went in with my friend to get a shellac manicure. The women working there were rude and the lady that did my nails was too rough. She did my nails while my friend waited. During that time other customers came in and were waited on, but they did not start on my friends nails. They lady waited until she finished mine and then did my friends, so it took twice as long. She did not wash her hands and used the same utensils. They were out of the shellac color I wanted. She barely trimmed my cuticles and the massage was less than 30 seconds. Horrible!!! This was my second visit to Celebrity in the last month. Both times I chose a gel (shellac) manicure and a basic pedicure. This recent visit, Danny did my gel and Loan did my pedicure with polish I brought from home. They both were very conscientious and I was very pleased with how my nails turned out. I have been getting my nails done by Debbie Le for over 20 years. She recently purchased this salon. It has been remodeled and looks beautiful. She has a competent staff that do a great job. Debbie greets every customer and makes sure they are taken care of as soon as possible. I don't know how she does it because most people walk in without appointments. I recommend this nail salon for excellent customer service and perhaps a glass of wine or champagne. read more

I get next gen on my nails done every 2 weeks and came here one day for the location. It was awful. Three of us came in at the same time all for next gen and had a terrible experience. They left me sitting in a warming acetone machine for 30 minutes and when I asked them if they could get started because I had to go pick up my kid soon, they filed them and then told me I had to wait for the one guy that was doing my friends nails while at least 7 women were chatting in the back room. After sitting there waiting for another 20 minutes, the guy finally finished with my friend and started on my nails. He did a terrible job. Almost every one of my fingers ended up bleeding and now, less than 2 weeks later I have at least 4 broken nails when I have never had a problem with next gen breaking. I had a pedicure from Celebrity Nails today and I am really pleased with my service. I didn't get the girl's name that did my nails but she did an excellent job. I was so relaxed I could have fallen asleep! I really love their prices and i happen to like the quaint decor. It's simple and not over the top! We didn't exchange many words, but it was actually peaceful to just sit back, read a magazine, watch some TV and enjoy getting pampered. Next time, i will get the girl's name that helped me. AVOID THIS PLACE!!! I had a gift certificate so I decided to use my lunch break to get my nails done. I wasn't helped for almost 15 minutes (even though I had an appointment) and two ladies walked out that had been waiting for who knows how long. The manager is who ended up doing my nails and she refused to do what I wanted. It was 100% the most poorly done and worst looking manicure I have received in over 10 years. Aweful. I went in for a gel manicure and the technician had my hands under continuous UV light for over an hour because she kept messing up on painting my nails. It was all over the side of my nails and I finally had to tell her to stop because my hands were burning from being under continuous UV lamp for that long. 3 days later the manicure started chipping off. I wasn't looking for anything free but they didn't seem to care that I was having a bad experience. I'll never go back. I go to a place in Frisco where the manicure will last up to 3 weeks. I really don't like/usually give negative reviews but this one is warranted.. I went in (first time at this salon) for new color NexGEN and was helped by a woman, I can't remember her name and she wasn't wearing a name tag. She was really sweet but took much longer than average for my nails. When using the buffer-type tool (I don't know the name for this but the one that spins and buffs your nails) she kept hitting my cuticles and I had to power through. She went over each nail so many times, I don't know how there was any nail left. This left my cuticles super tender and then she put so many coats of "activator" on, each time burning the cuts on my cuticles. After the whole process, there was the gel/color from the nexGEN process all over my cuticles (I have never had this problem anywhere else) and decided to just CUT OFF the pieces of skin that had color on it..... I'm way too shy to speak up in person and say there is a problem but I was holding back tears. My cuticles took a beating throughout the entire process.. My hands are all torn up and I'm really upset with my experience.. I hate writing negative reviews but I don't want anyone else going through this. read more

I have been there for other services and has been ok. But the massage service is HORRIBLE. They are not professional. They don't have a sheet for you to go under, makes you strip in front of them, uses an apron to cover you hen you turn over, and worst part is that she will climb on top if you to massage. PROS - very efficient, I went on my lunch hour and was in and out! Pricing wasn't too bad $44.95 for mani pedi combo. Very nice massage chairs. Staff nice. Price includes exfoliation and hot stone rub. CONS - did not offer beverage while you wait, my nail polish peeled off the next day on the pedicure. She didn't put a top coat on the polish! The tools are not in those sanitized/pre-wrapped pouches, they just rinse off and use again. Staff did not wear gloves. I received 2 cuts on both toe and finger - ouch. The exfoliation was not that great, i'm used to someone really scrubbing my nasty feet, instead they rubbed them a few times with scrub and that was it. OVERALL - I've had much better, but not bad for price and efficiency. ASK FOR A TOP COAT and hope you don't get cut! read more
