I should've known better than moving forward with Celestial Solar from the start. After giving me an initial quote, they came back and said they underpriced it because they "didn't realize" my roof wasn't a shingle roof. That should've been the first red flag. I've had them out for annual system checks, and last year I specifically told the technician that air bubbles were coming into the pool whenever the solar system was running. I was told they couldn't find any issues. Fast forward to this year during their $240 spring startup service, and suddenly they "find" a broken vacuum release valve...conveniently after the 3-year warranty had expired. I was quoted $100 for that repair, but ended up being charged $135 on the invoice. There was also an issue with the actuator, and I was told it would be $360 to replace it. I initially planned to order the parts myself and have someone else install them, but after the technician spoke with the office, they offered to waive the $240 spring startup fee if I moved forward with their actuator replacement. I agreed based on that. Two weeks later, I received an invoice charging me for everything -- the actuator, the vacuum release valve, and the spring startup fee that I was explicitly told would be waived. I responded and made it clear I would not be paying that fee based on what was agreed to. I received no response. Then, a few days later, they charged my credit card $765 without my authorization. They used card information from a previous year's maintenance payment. I have since contacted my bank, and the charge is currently under investigation as unauthorized. If this is not resolved, I will be pursuing further action. This experience has been extremely frustrating. Poor communication, inconsistent pricing, and now an unauthorized charge. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. read more

Efficient, quality craftsmanship at a fair price. Had my thermal pool panels replaced. Removal was quick and clean. They happily accommodated rescheduling the installation while the roof was being repaired. New panels were installed in a day and they look better and way more efficient that the old ones. Terrible experience. I wouldn't recommend anyone ever use them. Had them come out to repair our old system. While originally they did suggest a whole new system due to age of my system (for 10,000!!), they did say they could repair by replacing one of the panels for $750. No warnings that this may not fix the problem. Repairs ended up causing even more leaks. They said only option was replacement. When I said I couldn't afford that and expressed frustration we already paid $750 for anew panel, an employee said they could refund us and take back the panel. I was later informed by management that employee was "misinformed" and it was against company policy. Now I'm out $750 and don't have a working system! read more

We had our thermal heating panels replaced today. Jordyn and Adam performed the removal of the existing system and installed the new panels, valves and controller. They were very thorough as they went through the different phases of the demo, prep and new installation. They double checked to ensure everything was correct. The operational test went perfectly with no issues at all then a walk through of the operations of the valves and controller. Their work was very clean and you could see that they take pride in what they do. When they were done, it looked like they were never there. fast install. good price. so nice getting into a warm pool and actually using it more than just in the summer on the hottest days. for sure one of the better investments i've made to my home. my only complaint was they finished and left and I didn't get any type of walkthrough. they quickly called me and set up a time for me to do a phone walkthrough of my equipment. That was the only qualm but the woman on the phone who helped me was soooo sweet and kind that I can't dock them for anything. I recently had pool solar panel replacement. I called and contacted Jason. He explained everything with videos explaining how they do the work. ( they are headquartered in Vegas but have sites in California) I agreed to the price. Paid a down payment and with a week they were on site replacing my panels. The two employees (Elias and Saul) worked quickly and were done in no time. Elias was Great in explaining what was being done and explained how to care for the system. Celestial Solar & Water Systems installed my pool heater about two years ago, and have maintained it twice a year since then. The pool is heated via black panels (on top of my house) with little tubes that the water flows through. The sun heats the water and then it flows back into my pool. So first, this natural heating system has been very effective in heating my pool. It gets up to 90 degrees during the hot days of summer! We are using our pool far more and far longer than we ever used it before. And second, Celestial has been an excellent company to work with. The installation took less than a day, and the staff that installed it were friendly and professional. They even painted the black pipes to match my house color, so you don't even notice them. The maintenance involves emptying the panels for winter (in case of a freeze) and opening them back for summer. My maintenance person Dominic is very reliable, and always available via cell phone if I need him. I am so glad I chose this company. read more
