Lo and behold, the new unit developed a refrigerant leak and stopped cooling when it was 105 degrees today - and we had guests arriving today. There were a number of complications as their repair techs have been very busy, however, Katie did an amazing job working with us today. She started with us at 7am to coordinate a technician visit. There were complications on their end with sourcing the refrigerant and originally was going to be until tomorrow to finalize the job. We explained that this was going to cost us revenue due to reimbursing guests. She took that to heart, personally went to their storage facility to procure the materials, and then coordinated the work this evening. And to top it off, she called just now at 8:30pm to close the loop and insure we knew it was fixed and tested. KATIE IS A SUNLOGIX ROCKSTAR... please give her and the team a big raise. They deserve it. Additionally, we had our solar system with batteries recently installed. They were priced competitively and sized the system well for our needs. Can't say enough good things about SunLogix. :-)

The technician arrived within scheduled time and informed that I need a new capacitor and would costs me $350 (Yikes!) less than $50 part. No choice it was 95 degrees inside the house. Job was done great and ac working fantastic. Final bill was $477 because the $95 service call was not waived. Basically I had a discussion with the technician explaining that since I had him complete the repair that I assumed (my mistake) that it would be waived but he says, "company policy". I then retracted to not send me a sales person to quote me for a brand new furnace. I only write this review to learn from me NOT to assume anything that different company may have different policy regarding service fees/call. The system went on line about 10 days ago and it's already covered me during 3 power outages! I now know that I'm safely covered in case of any outages, which is comforting in dealing with our extreme heat - AC stays on, fridge is working and it comes on so quickly that I didn't even know that the power was out until a neighbor called me! Their service and communication are both excellent. Every employee is very experienced and knowledgeable and I recommend them highly.

Dominick came out a few days later for an inspection and identified we had some issues with the drain on the flat roof. He thoroughly explained the process on how they would remedy it while also identifying some other potential issues we might soon experience on some other sections of the roof. We received a proposal for repair a few days later and the price, while not cheap, was not outrageous. We signed the contract and were in the schedule shortly after. Day of the repair came and everything went very smooth. Upon opening the drain area they found some rotten lumber which they furnished me photos of. They replaced the bad lumber and had the drain repaired that day while also doing some other patching on some other areas and doing preventative maintenance. Natasha was professional and very clear with communication from the start. She set proper expectations on communication with Tesla would take a week or two. The day she received the go ahead from Tesla she called and scheduled the install asap 4 days out. Later the same day they had a cancellation and were able to get everything scheduled the next day. Anthony and Jeremiah arrived at the beginning of the arrival window! They were professional, great with communication, and ready to work. I had several questions and they were prepared for all of them and super helpful. The battery removal and install took less than an hour. Naturally Tesla's update took twice as long. LOL. Still total time was under 3 hours. I have managed 100s of installers and worked in Solar, this was a fantastic expierence! Because the Tesla 3 has more storage than the 2 I asked about adding some of my Breakers to the back-up and they had options for us to do that. Obviously we Highly Recommend This Team!

Very disappointed with Option One Solar…read more My Tesla Powerwalls & panels aren't producing & storing energy like before & I set up an appointment with Tesla through their app but the next available appointment was Oct 1st?! This was late July when I set up a service call. An over 2 month wait?!? So I got in touch with Option One Solar, to have them service my solar equipment. Setting up the appointment was easy, people on their end booked an appointment for the following Monday & I was charged the service call fee of $500. Ok I guess, I need these Powerwalls & panels looked at & hopefully fixed sooner than the Oct 1 Tesla appointment. My electric bill was $226! Their service guy came out, I told him what was going on/not going on & he looked in the panels, ran diagnostics through his phones informing me that the panels were working, then not working, and working again. He called Tesla support (Tesla installed this system almost 5 years ago). So basically the Tesla support guy on the phone said that Tesla has to come out & look & repair the system since they were the ones that installed it. So there was nothing Option One Solar could do otherwise it would void my warranty. I'm sure Option One Solar is a good company but they really didn't do anything but made a phone call to Tesla to let me know there was nothing they could do & that I would just have to wait till Oct for my Tesla appointment. I understand that the guy came out to diagnose & troubleshoot the problems & yeah I should be charged for his time, but for $500? I called their office to tell them what happened & asked for at least a partial refund since no physical work was done. They said they would put it in their notes & inform the team members. I wish I knew to NOT call them & just waited & I would've saved $500. I reread the contract & yeah it is stated clearly how much their fee is to come & look & troubleshoot & diagnose but that was an expensive phone call to Tesla for them to tell me, sorry you gotta wait, there's nothing we can do. I won't be calling them for any solar services, this experience wasn't a good one for me.
