We tried a range of flavors and my family liked what they tasted, but no one was that interested in running out again the following weekend to try them again, even driving by the location to remind them of the place we had visited. Silverland is the kind of place I like having near the highway so that I can pick up treats on the way to work or a social engagement if I've forgotten to make something at home. It's also a small shop with just a table or two off to the side, so I don't think it's a place I would stop to dine in. There's also parking nearby, assuming you are not on foot for a visit here!

The day started with a craving for something chocolate and this bakery seriously satisfied it! I bought the genache, double chocolate truffle, caramel and cheesecake. Each brownie brought about an amazing, unique flavor. Well, there goes my diet, lol. DELICIOUS! Customer service was also great. I told the nice gentleman who waited on me that this was my first time visiting and he gave me the history of the shop and the owner while neatly wrapping up my brownies. We were greeted right away and everyone was super knowledgeable. But honestly, the best part was feeling included. I know it's a first world problem, but most places don't have many options for people with allergies. Here, it didn't feel like a single random gluten or nut free item tucked into a menu full of things we couldn't have. There was real variety, and that meant a lot to us. The only complaint was that the store was fairly dirty and the beanie babies in the display had ice cream all over them. You could tell the kids were handling them. The man (I assume the owner) was so friendly and happy, and yes, he lured us with a free sample of taffy grapes. I knew this was going to be a sale when I saw how awesome the taffy grapes looked, and then when I tried one holy cow! They tasted like a mini caramel apple with nuts, except.. not an apple, a grape. And not too much caramel. Ooooooo sooo good. Just enough sweetness. We got a big cup of grapes to share later. I couldn't resist the cute little cake pops that were made in a tiny little ice cream cone cup. I got one for my mom and she really enjoyed it. Can't wait to come back to the market to get some more taffy grapes!
