My friend did not the person doing her nails did not speak. English therefore cut all her nails very short . She had requested a French and ended up just having the same color as her feet. No consideration for the customer and only about money. Don't risk ruining your nail beds. I still paid full price and always tip and still tipped 20% because I got the service, however I still made sure to tell her I don't like them ripping my nails off and all she said "well that's how we do it here." I had been procrastinating on getting my mani/pedi because of the bad experience I had in Milwaukee right after I moved here. Since then, we have finally found our home in Pewaukee and I knew I had to find a place. When I arrived, I was greeted with a smile by the owner and he took me to my chair right away. I was assigned to Suki and she was just a doll! She took very good care of me and she was such a delight to converse with, I didn't even sleep during my pedi like usual. Although it was more expensive than what I am accustom to, it was definitly worth it. (the pricing back home is more competitive due to supply). The chairs, tubs and stations were obviously new, but you can tell that it is very well taken care of as the staff takes pride in their stations. One star is the minimum, so that's what I'd give. I have had three manicures and one pedicure. My…read morefirst time having a manicure was good. My second manicure was terrible - the gel polish chipped immediately. I also had an eyebrow wax that took off no hair. I have no idea how that's possible, but when I pointed out it wasn't working, the tech comped it. The salon was busy, the techs were both overwhelmed, so I thought I would give Anthony Vince one more chance. It's located in The Corners, which is convenience and generally known to have better quality shops. This one is a do not go, see other reviews after mine for confirmation. When I came in last week, the salon was 60% full, with open chairs and tables and techs. The technician for my pedicure was wonderfully kind and gave an amazing foot massage. He was not as skilled at the pedicure, but was often distracted by someone who kept walking by to check on him. The toes weren't shaped well and the gel polish was horrible. It was meant to look bubble gum pink, but under the UV lamp it turned almost completely white. The nails were unevenly cut and my toes look really bad. A toe bled. My feet were scrubbed, but white peeling skin wasn't fully removed and there was very little cuticle removal. I was whisked away to a table for my manicure, so I didn't have time to properly check. The tech who did my manicure was also very distracted. He kept looking at a woman in the front, as though he had a duty to beat an unseen clock. He did not cut my nails and barely shaped them, despite my repeated asking for the nail beds to be pushed back and cuticles trimmed along with better shaping. What cuticle he did remove he cut too close, causing me to have light bleeds in 3 places. I was randomly cut down my middle finger in two places too. My nails came out jagged and rough at the ends. The nail polish, a different gel color, chipped on my pinky finger within 8 hours. It's 6 days later and all but two of my fingernails have completely chipped off, similar to how regular nail polish chips off. This branch of Anthony Vince uses low quality gel nail polish at the salon. This is a huge deal and I honestly think they should be closed for false advertising. I paid full price for services not rendered and products not as described. Twice. The girl at the counter, aged somewhere between 16-25 has never been helpful, hoping anyone who complains simply goes away. The place has visible dust on its pillars and other surfaces did not seem clean. I would like to mention that I still tipped every technician because it is apparent they are overworked and underpaid. Perhaps the rent is too high, otherwise I can't explain how they would cut so many corners and always be 60-110% full. I feel the issues I describe are not technician issues, they are business model and management issues.
