CELL MAX on Schillinger rd in Mobile,AL is the worst. I brought my phone to them to repair the screen. The "manager" Joe assured me that the screen was an "easy fix" but they would have to order the part and it would take two days to ship. Two days go by and I arrive at he store to pick up the phone and Joe says "unfortunately the replacement screen is defective". They even attempt to give me the phone with the screen hanging and not properly attached to the phone. I refuse it and they say they will order a new replacement screen. Two weeks go by and I have heard nothing so i call to check the status and Joe tells me "the screen is on back order out of stock" then tells me to call back the following week. Mind you I dropped the phone off on 2/3/2023. Another week goes by with NO UPDATE. Today I receive an update from Joe. "The phone is unfixable with a motherboard issue." The screen has been detached from the phone since he took the screen off on 02/03/2023. The phone was brand new not even 3 months old. When I started to question him, the customer service was horrible and even hostile. He started cussing at me and yelling over the phone. When I arrive at the store, he begins cussing again. He then contacts the "business owner" over the phone who is reportedly in Texas and also unapologetic over the customer service and language that his associate admits to him that he used at me. They refused to fix my phone in store or replace what they damaged. I want people to know that this company is wildly negligent and its owner is not in control. i had to get the back of my phone repaired as it was busted. the back of the phone was green but now its white. there is glue still around the sides. however thats not even the worst part. the worst part was the customer service. the customer services was absolutely repulsive. the man who works there, im not quite sure of his name, was very rude. i left my phone over night then visited the store the next morning. the man copped an attitude and told me that he said he would call me when it was ready. after a few hours i returned because i didn't receive a call. when i got there he copped an attitude again and said "i told you it would be ready at 6". however that was simply incorrect. he never told me that my phone would be ready at 6. he finally called right before closing time and told me that my phone was ready and if im gonna be honest he was mean mugging me the whole time. read more

I brought my S3 in because it wouldnt charge. They fixed it. About a week later it stopped working again, so I brought it back and they didnt charge me the second time but not even a week later it stopped. I couldnt go back there for a few weeks because of school and work, but when I returned he said it was my fault the phone didnt work so I leave to wait in the car why my boyfriend talks to him, I go back and the guy is yelling at him that he is irresponsible and I just had to leave. We go to this other place called Mings and they put my phone under this microscope and tell me that whoever had fixed my phone had welded or soddered it wrong, he had connected to bars which apparently you are not suppose to do, and when he had replaced the mother piece or something, he had ripped off gold plates from my phone which is very bad. While my phone did have water damage, they this this was most likely why it did not hold the charge, and they fixed it for me (but they didnt guarantee it would work because of the water damage) but I havent had a problem with it since I brought it to Mings they were very understanding. So those of you with samsungs, make sure you use samsung chargers ONLY and do not let your phone overheat because it can actually melt and become corroded from over heating. And dont go to cellmax because they are NOT reliable and very rude. read more
