Mixed feelings here. On one hand I've been helped to beyond satisfaction when repairing my cell phone. I then asked if he could fix one of my gaming consoles sure no problem he says. I own this brand new XBox Series C and ruined the HDMI port, says he will fix it for 150. 2 weeks later he says I lied to him about the existing issues cause it's obviously not turning on and that he could see all the war n tear inside on the motherboard because I "overworked/ overheated" my system. Made Absolutely zero sense since I had less than a months time of using it while I was using my PC..... I'm sure this man switched out my good Xbox components for one of his broken ones and gave me the broken one and said I can't fix it you lied to me, here is your system bye. I brought in a working phone and left with a broken phone. I was only getting the screen fixed so I could trade it in for an upgrade by my new provider who had examined my phone earlier that day and told me all I had to do was replace the screen and I could switch to Verizon and upgrade my phone. I was using my phone as I was waiting for the girl to return to work. My iPhone screen was cracked but the phone was still working perfectly. After 30 mIn the girl gave me my phone back. She told me she cleaned up the home button along with the phone and all should be fine. I was about to pay when I realized the home button was no longer working at all. She tried to fix it and realized the button was brOken. Knowing it was her fault she reluctantly replaced the button (as she should) but then the Touch ID would no longer work (as it did just prior to getting the service done). Her and her boss accused me of scamming them into getting the button fixed for free. She held my phone hostage until I paid for them breaking my phone. She tried to tell me there is no way she could have broke the button yet and they were just giving me the replacement button for free (which destroyed my Touch ID). The button was working just before going there (spectrum-Verizon can attest to that) and if breaking the button wasn't her fault-why give me a new one for free? Now I have no Touch ID the screen is over sensitive and lines keep going through it. The receipt says 30 day warranty but I won't even trust them to do that at this point. I had to get my phone back from her and pay for this bad service. I've never sued anyone, but they were so rude and aggressive that I reluctantly paid and left things alone knowing I'm going to take them to small-claimes court for breaking my phone. Businesses have insurance for their mistakes. I do not have insurance for their bad business practices. That's what judges are for.
