I'm giving them a one star rating because communication with the client is terrible. Skill set is average. I dropped off my laptop for repair after water spilled on it. The only time I received an update on the repair work (30 days) was if I called. I work from home and my expectation was 7-10 business days. Normally, when I called the answer was "the tech will call you". When Jeremy (tech and manager) discussed communication he stated "I don't call because there is nothing to update you on". I took this to mean your laptop is sitting and I'm not working on it. When my laptop was returned the upper right corner is bent and the screen has a crack. I'll drive to Atlanta or Cartersville for any future repair. read more

I have used this business several times due to my own klutziness. They've always been so kind to me and never made me feel stupid when they surely could've. The only thing I might've complained about is that instead of acknowledging you when you walk through the door they seem to want to talk amongst each other . However I won't decrease my star rating because it seems to be the way things are in this day and age. I'm craving the 60s and they just aren't coming back so I'm having to change along with the rest of the world and one of the things I've seen is lack of attentiveness to customers in all businesses. Went in for a cracked screen repair on iPhone 11 and after they replaced the screen my front camera didn't work! Also I had a notification in my settings saying Notice this is an after market screen and Apple does not support it. These people are not professionals and have horrible communication and customer service skills. I do not recommend taking anything to them for repair!! read more

If I could give negative star rating I would. I took my phone in for a cracked screen, everything worked except my home button & left with a non working phone. They recommend I take it to my carrier and have it reset, so I did. My carrier said they replaced my screen without using the proper "anti static" mat and there was static in my phone PLUS my hard drive was cracked... The repair man with sprint said he had never seen anything like it without it being run over or something similar. I went back to CPR to tell them about it and a VERY snarky and condescending woman told me I didn't know what I was talking about. Terrible customer service! Terrible people skills. And can't repair a phone. I ended up having to buy a new phone that I didn't need or want. Thanks CPR. read more

I'm not one to spend my time writing negative complaints until I feel as though a business has not properly handled a situation. Last week my grandmother visited this store after having trouble getting her phone to turn on. She paid $35 dollars for a "diagnostic test". After this "test" she was then told her phone was "completely fried with NO way of getting any of her content off of it". The only option they gave her was she could buy a IPhone 6 from THEIR store. She ended up coming to Alpharetta to visit us the following day where we took her to an AT&T store to hopefully get her a working phone. The lady at the AT&T store informed us they do diagnostic tests for FREE. She plugged my grandmas phone up to a charger and the phone immediately began to charge up. & within a few minutes came on. As we set there the lady at the store ran a few more diagnostics. Finding that the battery was in PERFECT condition (the one was only 2 years old to begin with) & had ZERO issues. The lady concluded that the charger my grandma had been using had gone out which resulted in it not charging. Today I called this CPR store to address that they had clearly not preformed any "diagnostics" or they would have realized there was no issue it was just not charging on her charger. The man on the phone continued to say that "phones are weird" & "The charger at the other store could of been different than theirs". I again stated to the man that it would be professional to allow my grandma to come back to their store for a refund of her $35 because if the phone would have been simply plugged in they would have realized there was no issue with the phone itself. He kept repeating that there's just no way to prove they didn't fix it for her and I was just calling to her the money back. Even stating they could have replaced the battery and just don't know. What business doesn't keep track of their inventory or notes of what they have done to a phone??? This entire phone call was extremely unprofessional and it's sad that they weren't willing to make a situation right & give her back the money they did NOTHING to earn. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PHONE HERE!!!!!! Your phone providers do FREE diagnostics. There is just NO way the two minutes it took for the AT&T store to fix this issue this "CPR repair store" couldn't figure out. I hope NOBODY wastes their time at this sad excuse for a phone repair store. Especially after being addressed with an issue and handling it the way they did. read more

You can't tell people that their laptops are going to be fixed in a certain amount of time and then keep extending that time frame without telling them (especially if they are in nursing school). This place does not care about their customers and in fact even blamed me as to why they could not fix my computer. Find anywhere else in Rome to fix your electronics. read more

This business did not fully repair my iPhone 7 which had a cracked screen & they did not honor their time commitment. They told me to be back in 1 hour for my repaired phone. I came back after an hour & the man at the desk retrieved my phone UNREPAIRED & made an "uuhhh" sound like it had been forgotten. He quickly tells me for some reason it has not been worked on but told me to give him 20 minutes & he would repair it. I decided to wait in their lobby for 20 minutes, which turned into an hour!! What should have been a 1 hour promised job turned into 2 hours. I was not offered any type of partial credit or anything. They made me prepay prior to the repair. I was not given a receipt & had to ask for one upon leaving. Be aware of this. After leaving, I noticed my phone screen is not the same brightness as before. Not sure if it's the screen or my eyes deceiving me, I compared the brightness to my friends iPhone 7 & sure enough the screen is not the same brightness as before. It's about 25% less bright compared to the way it should be. It looks like there's a tint on my phone or something. I really hope CPR can fix this or I will be asking for a refund. read more

If I could give them a 0 I would but I can't. I took my iphone 6s to get the screen replaced. My screen cracked in my hands while I was texting. I took my phone back to them and explained what happened. They called me a liar and said they couldn't do anything due to the physical damage (the crack) on the screen. They said they would be happy to fix the screen if I bought a new one and they would discount it by allowing me not to pay the taxes for it. I took my phone to Verizon because the screen didn't look right to me. At Verizon they told me that the screen was the wrong screen for my phone and that is probably why it broke. It looked like they forced a screen in my phone. I take my phone back to CPR and they still call me a liar and said their was nothing they would do. They also said that Verizon has no idea what they are talking about when it comes to iphones. They wouldn't refund my money for the screen that didn't last for 2 days. I took my phone to another repair place where they explained not only did the screen not look right, but also the frame of my phone was twisted and asked if my phone was like this before I took it to CPR. My phone frame was not twisted before taking it to CPR. I was recommended to buy a new phone because the twisted frame would cause any screen put into it to crack. So not only did I lose 80.25 dollars. I no longer have a working phone and have to buy a new one. read more

We took my daughter's iPad for screen repair the end of December after the screen was broken the day after she had gotten it for Christmas. She was crushed as this was a big item she had received for Christmas. I was told I would get a call once repair was complete. A couple of weeks later (still haven't heard anything), I called and was told it was ready. We picked it up around 6:50 PM prior to the office closing. We got about 5 miles down the road and the button fell into the iPad. I called on Monday and was told to bring it back in. I spoke with the Owner (Brad) who stated this happens at times when replacing the button separate from the screen. He said he would try this way once more and if this didn't work, he would order screen with attached button combo. The same day we picked up, button broke again. I was told to bring back. He said he would order the one with button already attached. He ask if my daughter used fingerprint. I said, not often but we want it restored to original. She is not the only one that uses. When there is $ available in her iTunes, we turn option on to prevent her from making unnecessary purchases. This should be obvious and it increases the value. We purchased originally with this option for a reason. Original repair order was to restore to original. Brad called to let me know it was ready for pick up. I inquired about fingerprint option to ensure it was restored to original. He stated he didn't order what he had installed with this option. I advised I wanted it fixed back to original with fingerprint options as I had paid for. He attempted to talk me out of it. I explained logic as to why and he stated he would have to order parts and I would be told when it was ready for pick up. We are now into February and I went to pick up this past Monday. New screen did not have fingerprint capabilities even though Brad and I had discussed this ending in him ensuring this would be done. I left it and advised Brad had ensured this would be fixed back to original. I was told he would be back on Thursday and he would call. I ask that he call me before then. It's Saturday, still no correspondence from him, and still no iPad. Each time we picked up, my daughter would start playing and it would break. She has cried so much over this but no one seems to even care about this aspect of the many repairs. My husband and I have called and no one will answer when we call. I plan to write to BBB today. I will be going to the Occupational licensing office on Monday if this is not resolved by then. read more

Not if you want them to work on an iPhone 6s. Took in a 6s for a screen replacement, Paid $200 for said replacement, after the part came in, they replaced the screen and bricked the phone. Were willing to refund $130 that Apple would have charged for the same replacement with a 5 day turnaround. If you're not comfortable or capable of working on a phone, turn the job away, if we can't get it fixed, I will be back only to pursue them paying for the phone replacement. read more
