BUYER BEWARE! This place is not only over priced, but they are taxing their customers ILLEGALLY. In the state of Texas, sales tax is not 12% which is what we were charged. When I brought it up to the woman at the register (a $20 screen protector came out to $22.40), she practically rolled her eyes at me, told me there's nothing she could do because it was set up in the register that way. It should have been $21.65. While the $0.75 isn't a huge deal for the wallet, it is NOT legal or ethical to charge 12% sales tax when the sales tax rate is 0.0825 on the dollar (8.25%). I love supporting local, mom and pop businesses however practices like this should make anyone hesitant to trust this place with their mobile phone. Also, make sure you turn your screen off before you leave (if they installed a protector). Mine had a ton of bubbles in it and she was annoyed when I asked her to get them out or put on a new one. If I wanted bubbles, I would have ordered a dozen of them on Amazon for $5 versus paying $20+ illegal tax rate for 1. read more

Hello, just beware of this place not standing behind their work or the product they sell. I paid $150 for a new screen for my sons i IPhone. 2 weeks later the screen malfunctions. They claim he dropped it (there is no damage, it was not dropped) and it isn't covered by the warranty. They will however be happy to take another $150 to fix it! She basically described a warranty situation that precludes them from ever standing behind their work. read more

I went to get my wife's iPad screen fixed. They quoted me $95. Then called me 2 hours later to say it was ready. I went to pick up the device but when the guy booted it up only half the screen worked; the other half was totally black. He then told me there was a "short in the LCD" cable at it would be an additional $85 to fix the screen. I argued that the screen worked perfectly when I dropped it off. Now, the crack was fixed but only half the screen worked! I left the ipad for 2 days for them to work on it and they called me stating it would cost $180 to pick it up. I went back to the store in a rush and asked to pay $150. They flat out refused and the guy who "fixed" the screen was not even there. I paid for the scam with a vow to never return and warn everyone I can to NEVER USE THIS COMPANY. Bad service, terrible business practices, total disregard for fairness, and zero accountability. i wouldn't go here if it was the last repair place on earth. i took and ipad that wasn't even mine to get fixed and they charged me $120 for the worst repair i've ever seen. the ipad was BLACK so it had a BLACK screen...i go to pick it up and they replaced it with a WHITE screen.....and said that's all they could do. like wtf. they refused to do anything about it so i'm out 120 bucks as a college student with a shitty ipad that looks ghetto. seriously don't go here, they fucking suck. read more

SHAME ON THESE GUYS!!! Went to go get my phone fixed from here multiple times through out the year and thought it was okay. My phone broke again but I went to a different place to get it fixed because it was closer to my house. When I went to the new place they informed me that Cell Phone USA had stolen many crucial parts from my phone and that it was going to not be able to work because of it. A month later my phone died and I went to the apple store to see if they could fix it. My phone ended up not being able to turn on because of this and I had spend 900 dollars just to get a new phone. So end of the story is, this place stole parts from phone my phone through out the year then blamed me for it not working. They then later replaced my parts with crappy materials. So if you want spend over a thousand dollars to get it more broken from this place and then pay 900 more to get a new phone, then this is the place for you. But I would not suggest it. read more

Deserves "0" stars. STAY AWAY. My daughter took her cracked iPhone in to get it fixed and they gladly took her $75 (plus tax). However, 4 days later when the new cover popped off and cracked, they refused to do anything...other than give me $5 off having them repair it again. This place is over priced. I was charged almost $85 dollars on a screen repair. The new screen cracked with in 4 days from being touched and when I took it to a new place to get it repaired, I was informed that Cell Phone USA had actually damaged the sensory detector within my phone. This is ridiculous. You shouldn't get more damage out of a repair than you had when you started. 10/10 do NOT recommend. read more

My wife took my daughter's phone there to get repaired and was told by the gentleman that it would be "like new". The cost was $250. It was an iPhone 6 and they replaced the battery as well as the screen. The first day, it worked. By day two, it wasn't charging. I took it back to the store the next day and was told by the manager that it could be something on Apple's end (phone needed to be reset, or something similar). I took it to the Apple store and when I told them the phone had been repaired they pointed out some corrosion in the headphone jack as possibly part of the problem, but that taking your phone to a place to get repaired can be sketchy because they can damage the internal components while doing other work on the phone. They said there was nothing they could do on their end. I went back to the store and relayed this to the manager and expressed my desire for a refund. She pointed out that they do not give refunds and we went back and forth. (The manager was very respectful and nice, by the way). She then said that she would try to replace the battery to see if that may help. When we came back to pick it up, she was very happy and announced that the phone was now working because she had replaced the corroded earphone jack. We were very happy and left, but within two days, the phone was again not charging. Rather than go through the whole ordeal again arguing about the refund I would probably never receive, we went back to Apple and traded the phone in for a WORKING iPhone 6 which is what I should have done in the beginning. Lesson learned. My main issue with Cell Phone USA was that they mislead us into thinking that by whatever they did would make the phone work just as a new one would. When I went back and brought this up with the manager, she brought up the no refund policy and explained that they replaced the batter and the screen--but offered no compromise (until eventually providing another "fix" that didn't work) in some kind of refund minus the parts cost. She just kept repeating everything they had done to my phone THAT WASN'T FIXED. We paid $250 for a phone that worked for about three days. If they offered us a refund, I would most likely revise this review, but I'm done wasting time trying to get good service. read more

PLEASE BEWARE!!!! Took my phone to this place to repair a cracked screen(paid $120 plus tax). When I got the phone back my screen was not working properly and my flashlight and camera were broken. I took it back the next day and was told they would order a part to try to fix it. Well, almost 2 weeks later and five visits up there no parts were ever ordered and they are refusing to give me a refund. The man working there says I have to get with the owner(about a refund). He would not give me her number or an email only told me days she would be there. The days he told me I went up and of course she wasn't there. Took my iPhone 7+ in for a simple cracked screen replacement. Everything else on it was fine. Was quoted $125 on the phone, $135 in person. Wasn't really upset by that. The lady told me "no problem" and that she just needed an hour. Hour + goes by. I walk back over and she says she had trouble with the bottom screw and needs 30 more minutes. Understandable. I leave. Come back at 2 hours and she said she can't get the home button to work. Says she can put the old broken glass back on it. I was pissed but said ok. Came back at almost 3 hours and she says she has my cracked screen back on but home button not working. Worked when i gave it to her. She had no options but for me to leave overnight. I'd told her at very beginning i live 100 miles away and i was just waiting on HER so i could drive back home. She just kept repeating herself. So i wasted 3 hours waiting on nothing and she broke my phone worse than it already had been. Also refused to call her boss. Do no take cell phone here. They just took 170 dollars to fix my phone. They took my phone and replaced the screen and the next day it was cracked. I took it back because they said the warranty the work. Well after looking at my phone the lady said it cracked because I put my otter box on it. I said that does not make sense ! An otter box is made to protect your phone no brake it. She goes to show me a phone that she repaired the cracked on here because she put the otter box on. Well she said because it broke on her she has to replace it. But because it broke on me its my problem. Then she insisted that I should buy a screen protector so it doesn't crack an more. I just felt they should disclose that snapping your otter box over the phone can crack screen. Still does not make sense to me that , that would happen. read more
