I contacted the shop immediately, and they acknowledged that the screen was defective and assured me they would repair it under their warranty. Unfortunately, it's now been almost two months, and the issue still hasn't been resolved. I've been given repeated excuses and delays, and more recently they've stopped responding altogether. It's extremely frustrating to pay for a repair only to end up with a defective screen and then have to chase the business for months without any resolution. Good customer service doesn't end once payment is made. Standing behind your work and honoring your warranty should be a priority. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this business.

My 70" Vizio, at least 10 years old (or more), the video image started acting weird when turning on, needed 2 or 3 attempts before the boot-up logo would appear. Then suddenly, while watching a show, POOF that was it ... TV was off. I had been to The Video Hospital years prior with a different TV, similar sort of issue, sound yes, but no image. The first experience was simple, straight forward, no nonsense, fairly priced. I called again, Eddy answered, they're open M-F 9a-7p, no charge for diagnosing. No charge for diagnosis, "WHAT?!" Where can you find that in 2026? You've got nothing to lose. I dropped off at 6pm on Friday, at precisely 11:11am on Monday Eddy called me with his diagnosis & price quote (extremely fair), and with my approval he'd have it ready for pickup in about :30 mins. It's rare to find this kind of service, pricing and turnaround anymore ... I'm incredibly grateful to The Video Hospital, and would recommend Eddy to anyone trying to avoid throwing away a still-good TV and unnecessarily buying a new one - we throw away too much good stuff. Try and fix it, you've got nothing to lose! And no, I'm not a friend or relative writing a fake review - The Video Hospital has served me well twice so far. To get the TV in and out the store they use a boggie type that could easily scratch your TV, not to mention the the uncomfortable parking space. I would not recommend this place at all, there's better options out there.
