Lo and behold I drive up and see a sign "we fix cellphones." I thought "no way!" I strolled on in. Chris had a smile on his face and said "Hello how can I help you?" I told him the situation. He let me know he was about to close up, but he knew the phone model really well. He thought he could fix it in a half an hour. I gave him my number and told him I was having dinner at Chinese Kitchen. I kept looking at my phone so I wouldn't miss his call. A half hour went by - nothing. Then I look up and there he is standing at the counter. "Sorry, but I tried calling and your phone went to vm." WOW - really?! Instead of just leaving because he couldn't get in touch with me- he came up to let me know it was done. WOW! I don't mean to make such a big deal about that, but it seems in this day and age most people aren't willing to go above and beyond. Well, Chris did! Awesome customer service and very knowledgeable. I plan on bringing my Apple Watch to get my battery replaced as soon as I get back out that way.

I went with this place because they gave her best case and worse case senario. Other cell phone stores just gave her worse case senario deal. They repaired my phone and even got it back same day. It ended up costing my only $148.50. Way less than what other stores quoted. This store was very polite and gave me what issues I may run in to. It's works perfect no issues. Saved me from having to buy a new phone. Will use again for future cell phone repairs. Gave a five star rating becuase I'm happy and my daughter in law said she didn't feel pressured or taken advantage off. That goes a long way for me.

While I believe the prices are a bit high, the quality of the work was satisfactory. The next time I went in there, I was trying to get my phone unlocked. I explained to them it had not been paid off, but I was promised that it could still be unlocked. I prepaid which was a HUGE mistake on my part. I was told a card had to be ordered and would take 1-2 weeks. Time went by, and I stopped in several times. Long story short, my phone is still not unlocked and I'm out my $100. The owner kept putting me off and asking for more time, which i gave him, because what else could I do? He kept offering alternative solutions to unlocking my phone, because obviously whatever he was currently trying wasn't working. I asked for my money back after about two months of this, and he asked for my receipt. I explained I had filled out a receipt with my information but had paid in cash and not received a receipt from the cash register. He went on about how I couldn't get a refund because I didn't have a receipt. I went back another day when another employee was working (an employee that liked me) and went through the recept book and found both copies of mine (white and pink). He had never given me mine (I obviously took mine). I filed a complaint with the mall about Cellphonia, but I was told, while they can talk to the owner and encourage him to refund me, they cannot force him to do anything. My brother dropped his note and it cracked on both sides (front and back since both pieces are made of glass) so he asked me to check on yelp. Yelp has this cool feature where I can compose a message and have it sent out to multiple businesses. That is what I did and a few places responded, Gadget Fix MD was one of them and gave me the cheapest estimate compared to other businesses. They respond quick and quoted me 165$ for the price estimate and clarifying that the front lcd will take them 20 mins and the back glass will take them 2 hours. And just the front lcd will only be 85$. This was all sent from the manager Rab B. in the direct message and I'll upload the photo for confirmation. He also sent dates that he was available to have it fix so I sent all this information to my brother. It is an hour drive to the phone shop but he made his way out there and when he got to the shop and showed them his phone, the total was over $300, almost $400. The price was double then what he quoted me in the direct message. My brother even pulled out the message and asked for the manager that sent it and the manager acted like he has amnesia and does not remember a thing. He was rude, nonchalant about the situation and didn't care. It was a complete WASTE of our TIME and drive! Time is money and they didn't even work with us or anything. Why would you give me an estimate then not honor it? You have a Masters in IT Business, maybe you should get a masters in Customer Service.

I got a call and a text today that the iPad was ready. They apologized about the whole ordeal and they gave me an amazing discount because of everting I posted before (the story). Because of the rapid responsiveness and fixing the problem; I feel that is only right to update my review. Thank you for fixing the problem as promised and for the prompt response.

The risk is not worth the money. I came in twice before bringing my phone for repair...no one complains about this huge breech?
