An all around lovely coffee shop. I visited on a Saturday afternoon in February. Cellar Door Coffee has spaced out their seating to ensure proper social distancing between tables and staff were wearing masks and washing their hands. Cellar Door Coffee is a stylish, rustic, old house feel coffee shop. The decor, seating, tables and music makes me feel like I'm in a stylish old cabin like house in the country. Over the speakers I heard John Prine, Mandolin Orange, and similar artists. The seating, decor and music make it a nice place to relax with friends. They have an assortment of coffee drinks on the menu typical of what you'd find at a local coffee shop. The small breakfast and lunch food items looked delicious. The baked goods and sweets are what amazed me. I ordered a cookie that looked amazing and tasted amazing. I'd travel just for the baked goods! This was a nice cozy little coffee shop right in garretsville, they have a great mocha and lemonade refreshers. Parking can be kinda limited so if they are busy you might have to park away only been a few times but yeah I'd say it's cozy and casual great to bring a book and sip a coffee or a friend and relax. Staff is polite and makes really good drinks. They also sell some baked goods as well I personally haven't tried them by my friend said they were good. read more

Such a cute coffee shop! A variety of great choices...they have a pretty extensive breakfast menu (including multiple vegetarian options) compared to a lot of other coffee shops. They have ample seating (upstairs, downstairs, and outside) and the place is decorated well. Service was fast and friendly too! The decor is wonderful - everything from the neatest chalked modern font text of the menu board to the refinished old wooden tables and fresh flowers on the tables; beautiful windows, some books and a little bulletin board, cute lamps and cute lighting downstairs, water in a big glass carafe to serve yourself. Good place to hang out and work or study, i imagine. The lavender honey coffee brings a friend of mine here from 120 miles away! Not kidding! I took her here once, and I can't tell you how many times she's sent me a text, "hey, meet me at cellar door in 1/2 an hour"! I stopped in on a whim on a day that I was in town and I WISH this place was near my house. I spent around 4 hours here studying. This little small-town coffee shop feels like home. The inside is cozy and decorated so lovely. I wish I would've went downstairs and upstairs to check the rest of it out, but I was so content on the first floor, I didn't move. They have lots of seating - both in the form of relaxing arm chairs to couches to tables and chairs. The tables were clean and I had no trouble finding a spot by an outlet. The staff was super friendly and answered all of my questions when I was very overwhelmed by their large menu - which is very large - they have tons of choices and I'm counting down the days until I'm in town again to try something else! They also didn't seem to mind that I stayed for a long time. I got a chai tea latte which was moderately priced, definitely cheaper than Starbucks, and I got a cheap refill of their house brew! I was so pleased with the taste of both drinks, I'm kicking myself for not trying to take some home. I will say that I was in there from around 2-6 and there was an influx of high schoolers who were not conducive to work and pretty loud (right around when school gets out) but the rest of the patrons were college kids and adults, either hanging out or studying like me. read more

Such a cute shop! Cute in this case does not mean small though. The Cellar Door has multiple floors. They have a ton of different kinds of drinks as well as pastries and made-to-order breakfast items. The barista was super sweet and really enjoys working here. If you are ever nearby (as a bunch of us were for our children's field trip to Monroe Orchard), definitely come by! Sit inside and enjoy the space if you can! Great choices on the menu, everything I have had has been great. Coffee is delicious and the atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and peaceful. We spend many days downstairs with my new Grand-baby, enjoying time out of the house for Mom. This is the perfect environment for that. It never feels over crowded and plenty of space to relax. GLUTEN FREE PANINIS! They have delicious gluten-free bread, so they can make any sandwich gluten-free. Kyle recommended their Pesto chicken panini & he made it on a "separate" panini press! I needed to wait a few extra minutes for the press to warm up. Pesto chicken panini is made with homemade pesto, rotisserie chicken, mozzarella cheese & fresh tomatoes. It was warm & delicious! A customer sitting at the counter, recommended the seasonal fruit side, pineapples, strawberries & blueberries, freshly cut every morning. It was super fresh & tasty. I also got a delicious Buckeye, for dessert. Abbie is super friendly & did a great job with my pour-over coffee, my new fav coffee. I was pleasantly surprised with this coffee shop in Garresttville! What a cute and comfortable space. I think the downstairs is just gorgeous. It's got a homey, rustic feel with stone walls and white lights strung on the ceiling. There is plenty of table space, and this seems like the perfect place to gather with a few friends OR have some quiet hours to yourself. The upstairs reminds me of a close friend's home -- comfortable, clean, and welcoming. The windows let in plenty of beautiful natural light. I forget the name of the drink I ordered, but it was a sweetly delicious frozen mocha something! The staff is very friendly. This place is brand new but super cute! Boyfriend had a pb mocha, I had a caramel macchiato and a maple donut from Maggie's. Tasty drinks, I wish they had more of a food selection though.
