Hurry, the good things do go quickly on Saturday's. So a Russian tea biscuit is a scone or biscuit like dough with fruit filling neatly folded into it. It has sugar sprinkled on top. It is the best thing in the universe!!! I've heard people complain on Facebook that the staff is "nutty" about enforcing COVID19 precautions. Crazy ass hours! Traveled here for some baked goods only to find out they close by noon and aren't even opened on Mondays. These business owners really need to get on the ball and be able to provide their customers with their goods and services when the customers need them and not when it's convenient for the business owner to show up. These donuts are definitely a hometown favorite for me! It's a small shop located inside of a little plaza! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful while you pick out your donuts. Which by the way are absolutely delicious and so cheap. They run at about $1 each, $6 for a half dozen and $11 for a dozen! The staff was even friendly and didn't bat an eye when I asked to change the type of box they put my donuts in so I could get a picture! All the donuts have great texture and flavor! Another hidden place. I would never find this place if by accident I wouldn't picking the prints next door. I saw word "donuts" and it hypnotized me. Also, the lady from the printing store told me that they delicious, so I needed to check this place out. The first impression was positive and pleasant. I liked the pink interior and colorful details. The displays demonstrated big and gorgeous donuts. However, the working ladies were not the friendliest. Maybe because I was "a new" client or because I did many pictures. One of the staff asked me "what those pictures for?" I almost felt that I may be thrown out of the place lol The attitude of the staff could be more friendly and welcoming. Also, I didn't like the cranberry coffee- big no. If you're in the Bainbridge or Chagrin area, you have to make a stop at Raised & Glazed Donuts! One of my favorite spots for donuts, but their cookies and cakes are amazing, too! It's a family favorite for birthday cakes and I actually had my wedding cake made here! The name Raised & Glazed Donuts is deceiving, because this lovely bakery also makes specialty cakes! Raised & Glazed made the most delicious buttercream cake for my friend's baby shower. In terms of cake artistry, this cake was beautiful. Delicate flowers, polka dots and neat cursive handwriting detailed this adorable cake. The cake was a tremendous hit at the shower. The frosting was a perfect balance of sweet and smooth and the cake itself was moist and rich. It looked almost too good to cut! It feels rare to find a bakery that makes a cake that presents well AND tastes delicious. They even delivered the cake to Fairlawn all the way from Chagrin Falls, proving their exceptional service after an early morning snafu prevented the morning pick-up.
