We had three different coffees, hot Rosemary latte with almond milk, half sweet, half a mocha almond milk, half chocolate, and a vanilla latte nitro chilled everything was amazing. We love the avocado toast!

Friendly staff and good lattes. I got the brown sugar, was delicious and loved that it was a house made syrup.

Maple Latte and Lavender Long Fog tea latte! Both amazing

Delicious avocado toast and coffee. We got the maple latte and Long Fog, quality ingredients. Great open atmosphere and friendly people.

Porchlight Coffee feels like it's having a bit of an identity crisis--it's not totally clear if it wants to be a true coffee shop or something else. The vibe is a bit off and the environment feels somewhat strange, which made it hard to settle in. That said, the space does have some charm. The tables are beautiful, but not very functional if you're using a mouse or trying to get serious work done. The coffee itself is decent--not quite my preferred taste, but I can see how others might enjoy it. It has quality, just not the flavor profile I personally look for.

I purchased a macchiato here. The presentation was OK and the flavor was just OK. A little acidic if I was basing my review just on my Cortado. It probably would be a three. However, I feel like I need to try different cups of coffee here and this is my first experience here. The atmosphere is amazing. The workspace is amazing. They have free Wi-Fi. The woman that works at the counter was super friendly and engaging. She also let me know that they make all their simple syrups and HOUSE, which I think is a huge plus if I was basing my review on that it would be a five. Atmosphere would be a 5. They also offer some food and sweet treats. Parking is easy.

Always am pleased with my visits here! To come with friends for a book discussion or by yourself to work on some things over the weekend, it's the perfect environment for so many things. They have both small and long tables for small or large groups. Staff is always friendly and the drinks/food are great. This peach burrata toast was a delightful, summery treat!

Great scape. Fun staff. They make their own syrups and the chemistry lab is on the counter. Great place to stop catch up, eat, work and support their ministry.

Cute place. Limited menu on food, with high prices, and takes a while to get, but was delicious and fresh ingredients. The drinks were quick, beautiful, and delicious! The place was busy with people and spacious enough to hold everyone without feeling cramped. I'll be back for sure when in the area!

    Green egg?

I decided to try something new this morning so I went here and got avocado toast with fried egg on top. My egg came out green. So I asked the employee working and he said that it was normal. I've never ate green eggs before. Sadly I ate the first egg before I noticed this green mess. Now my stomach is in knots and I definitely won't be coming back here.

    Iced vanilla latte, 16 oz

Making the rounds on coffee shops, the next stop on my list was Porchlight Coffee. I ordered a 16 oz iced vanilla latte. Price was cool at $5.50, which is what I typically expect to pay at most places. The latte was great - nice balance of the espresso with just the right amount of vanilla. Chef's kiss. 10/10 Ambiance: light, bright, spacious, with plants in the windows. I showed up two hours before close, and I was able to find a table near an outlet. Music has a bit of an indie folk vibe. I like that I see an ethnically diverse crowd. I was able to park in the lot next to the cafe. I appreciate that. First time here, won't be the last time. I definitely plan on arriving earlier than later so I can get some good work time in. There also seems to be a meeting room with a dry erase board, where folks can gather and close the doors. I don't do meetings but if I did, this is good to know. Caveat: this cafe has more of a "community gathering" vibe than a "work from home" vibe so unless you are sitting at a table near the walls, you won't have access to an outlet. To maximize your visit, charge your laptop at home if you plan on working here for a few hours. Anyways, come on through. I know I will.

We always enjoy the coffee and atmosphere at this hidden gem. Sometimes it can be too busy to get a seat but we chance it anyway.

I talked to the owner for a while and she told me how she has worked in a Mexican restaurant in the area for years and was always disappointed that they rarely carry any of these delicious fruit-based snacks that are so popular in Mexico. She was extremely friendly and charismatic and definitely has a passion for this new venture of hers. She offered samples of a few different items off her menu and we decided on an order of bionico. Bionico is a modern Mexican twist on a traditional fruit salad. It gained popularity in the 1990s in the city of Guadalajara, Jalisco. Rosita's version contains fresh cut papaya, cantaloupe, honeydew, strawberries, apples and banana. She offered it with toppings of granola, coconut flakes and pecans. Then it is drizzled with a generous portion of a sweet crema. The bionico was so good! It was so much better and more refreshing than the best ice cream you can get in the area. Another person ordered a Piña Loca which is another refreshing fruit-based treat. She also offers some savory snacks such as the Chicharrones Preparados and Ceviche which would go great as a side with some tacos from Taqueria El Paso next door. Everything about this experience was fantastic. The food was fresh and amazingly delicious. The service and enthusiasm for the product was great. I definitely will visit again and suggest that you make some time to try it out as well!

Parking is very crowded, but you can usually park at nearby businesses. When we arrived, we were greeted warmly and given the option of waiting about 20 minutes for indoor seating or sitting outside with heaters. We chose outside. Even though it was raining, the heaters kept it comfortable and it was still a nice experience. The biggest issue was the wait for the food. It took about an hour for our meals to arrive. The staff was very apologetic and explained they were having issues, which we appreciated, but an hour is still a long wait. This was especially noticeable because the restaurant's website mentions that, due to limited space, guests are asked to limit their stay to about 75 minutes. The inside of the restaurant also felt very congested because of the front entrance layout and the constant flow of people coming in. One suggestion would be to add the bakery items directly to the menu so guests can easily order them with their meals instead of having to ask separately. Our server was very nice, and the food itself was good. I ordered the hash with scrambled eggs and a coffee, while my wife had a pot of tea and the Croque Madame. They also had specials available, but we decided to keep it simple. Sorry, no pictures -- we forgot to take them. Overall, the prices were slightly higher than normal for similar places we've visited.
