The sauce had a slight kick to it with the cherry peppers present. The wood aspect of this dish was very noticeable too. The boardwalk pizza had house-made chorizo sausage, green pepper, onion, parmesan, Pomodoro, oregano, and red pepper flakes. This was alright. The crust was a little underdone for me, so it was a little flabby. The chorizo was the best part. I feel like jalapenos would have been a better choice of pepper here. The sauce was light and appetizing too. I also had a piece of bread that came out warm and paired nicely with the sauce from the wings. I was glad bread was provided to soak up that sauce! The woman checking out in front me actually took up my defense and said "does he look like he can't afford it?" I guess she all thought it was rude and warranted a comment. Not the first or even the second time someone at the register has an attitude. We never even spoke a word so I don't know what provoked the guy but I genuinely think he just doesn't have manners or respect. Last night we finally snagged the last two seats -- and we didn't realize just how much we missed the burger! It was cooked to perfection, incredibly flavorful, and everything we remembered (and more). Service was on point as always -- friendly, attentive, and seamless.
