He picked us up from our Airbnb and drove us 45 mins out and back, while we blasted some rachet songs to sing haha. He would check in on us during the winery to see if we needed anything or have any questions, and he would offer to help us take multiple pictures. He also got one of the wineries to allow us to explore their cellars! On our last day in Austin, he drove by our airbnb to pick up someone else and honked at us as we waited for our uber. Bob was our driver and his great demeanor added to our great day. He knew the area and many of the locations as he used to be the head football coach at Dripping Springs High School. He made sure to be at our beck and call! Comfortable Mercedes bus was more than enough for our group of 6. We'll call again when we come down next time.

He was super responsive and able to get us in on the upcoming Saturday. The bus itself is really nice, great sound system. Rick and Erica texted us before we arrived to ask if we wanted an array of coffee from the coffee bar on board and we were greeted with our orders. We also had so many snacks and drinks available. One of the greatest things is that this isn't a preselected tour and you can go where you please during the allotted time. They even dropped us in town for dinner at the end of our time. We can't thank them enough and highly recommend using this service in Fredericksburg. Thanks for making our girls trip amazing!

They allow wine/Prosecco on the bus and gave us some water and goodie bags. Our bus driver, Ronnie #2, was fantastic! Such a gentlemen. He walked us inside each winery and made sure we were all good to go before returning to the bus. We visited Blumenthal Farms, Barons Creek Vineyards, and The Edge. We didn't get a choice on wineries, but enjoyed all of our stops!

Josh took us to 4 wineries personalized to our tastes. Your tour is likely going to be nothing like ours. If you want a distillery tour they can do that too. 2) new, clean vehicle. My mom has mobility issues. Getting in and out of a shuttle isn't the easiest. We could relax in this SUV and she had no issues getting out of it. 3) private service. Josh was our photographer, tour guide and even purse holder for the day. He knows a lot about wine! At the end of our tour he brought in all of our wine! We could do things at our own puce. 4) the price was comparable to other services. The price does not include tastings but that is ok. Sometimes you just want a glass or two. Overall, I would highly recommend this service!

Everything about Cellar Rat Wine Tours was amazing. My mom booked us for a 4 stop tour for my 26th birthday and it was one of the most memorable experiences I've had to date. From the time Clem picked us up from the hotel to the time he dropped us off he was a true Texas gentleman and made us feel very comfortable. From cooling the van ahead of time to opening doors and showing us the inside of the cellars (which people don't typically get to do on a regular wine tour), he went above and beyond. Clem is the real deal and we could definitely tell that he has a solid reputation with these wineries by the way we were greeted and taken care of at each stop. Clem was extremely knowledgeable about the wine industry, the process of making it, and even gave recommendations on buying it. There was so much we learned along the way and took from the day (aside from the several bottles of wine we ended up with- lol). I wish I could write more to explain how awesome this experience was for me and my mom but it all comes to the same conclusion- WOW! These guys are the real deal. If you are interested in learning the ins and outs of the wine industry while still experiencing the beautiful Texas hill country in all of its glory this is the place for you! Let's start this off by saying this was hands down the best wine tour I've been on. I came to Fredericksburg for a bachelorette party which consisted of a wine tour to 3 different wineries. The day started off by Clem, picking us up on time, just a little early even. Clem is a very knowledgeable, professional, and extremely patient individual! He was able to answer any questions we threw at him. He let us listen to our choice of music (hip hop bbq on Pandora - check it out) and even sang some songs with us! Clem knew exactly where to take us, as he explained the close relationships he had with many of the other wineries in the business. We started the day at Kulhman Winery, then pit stopped at Lewis wines, to finish the day at William and Chris Winery. Each stop was 100% local, informative, and had very tasty wine. You can't go wrong with choosing Cellar Rat Wine Tours whether it is for a bachelorette party, birthday party, or just a day out on the town! read more

This was our second wine tour in 4 years (ladies trip). Our host and driver was Chris! He was wonderful: he has been in the wine industry for almost 20 years, knew the full history of each winery we visited and even gave us a private tour of the production area of one of the wineries. We visited Kuhlman, 4.0 Cellars, and William Chris. All great but a bit different in their approach. Kuhlman Cellars offers a really 5-star experience with chef-prepared food bites paired with the wines offered in the private wine tasting. We stopped at HYE Market for lunch that was pre-ordered by Chris ( items we chose from a menu he gave while in the van). That was also a unique and fun experience. Chris made sure he labeled all of our wine purchases and carried them all to the van and then into our Airbnb. Cellar Rat Wine Tours has a great reputation and now we know why! read more

Okay first of all, you have to know that Clint knows wine...he's not just a tour driver. So, what that means is that when you visit a winery with Clint, most likely he knows as much or more than the folks at the winery. In fact, don't be surprised if he jumps in to add color commentary during wine tours at the invitation of the winery staff. This guy knows his stuff. Of course, the fact that he knows every person working at every winery on the wine trail means you will be treated really well at every stop on the Wine Trail. We started our tour from San Antonio, and Clint was happy to come pick us up and return us safety home after 3 planned, 1 unplanned and 1 BONUS stop. All equaling out to just about the best day I've had in a long, long time! If you're going to do a wine tour, make your first call to Clint! He'll take great care of you! read more

We had an AMAZING time on this wine tour. I did alot of research, read alot of reviews and finally selected the Wine & Food Tour with Cellar Rat. It could not have been more perfect. Clint was our Guide and he put together a great day for us. First thing in the morning we switched our plans and had him pick us up from Brunch instead of the House and he was great with accommodating our change. Visited Kulhman, 4.0 and Lost Draw Wineries. Great experience with each. Loved having a private room for the food and wine tastings that really made us feel special. Clint was always game to snap pictures of us, carry all the wine we bought to the van, and provided great advise about the rest of our trip (restaurant and nightlife recommendations). Cant wait to plan another trip to Fredericksburg and I will without a doubt use Cellar Rat again! read more

My friends took me to Fredericksburg to celebrate my 40th birthday this past weekend and our tour with Cellar Rat was definitely the highlight of the weekend! Clem arrived on time to pick us up, the van was comfortable and well stocked with cold water, we got 5 star treatment from the wineries and distillery we visited, lunch was fantastic, and Clem even went out of his way to take us back into town so we could get dinner without having to hire a ride. Everything was top notch, but the best part of the the tour was definitely having such a wonderful guide. Clem went out of his way to make sure we had a fantastic time. He was lots of fun and he taught us so much about wine! We had an awesome experience on our Cellar Rat Wine Tour with Clint. We put together our own itinerary, and decided to visit 4.0 Cellars, Pedernales Cellars, Hye Market for lunch, Compass Rose Cellars and the Garrison Brothers Bourbon Distillery. His extensive wine and hill country knowledge certainly did lend themselves to a great time. You can tell he has wonderful relationships with all of the wineries and their personnel. We especially enjoyed the bonuses, like touring the actual production rooms. Overall, we felt like we had a very personalized and personable experience with Clint. He kept us laughing all day! We'd definitely take another Cellar Rat Wine Tour and also recommend to our friends. It was my first time visiting Texas' own wine country, and the experience was absolutely perfect. read more

Seriously, he made this tour something special for our group. He was knowledge, fun, helpful, and knows everyone! Clint was awesome! We hosted a co-ed bachelor/bachelorette weekend in the area and did a 3-stop tour. Kuhlman Cellars was everyone's favorite and did an amazing job. We also went to the Garrison Brothers distillery, which was very cool, and William Chris Vineyards. Everyone agreed lunch at Hye Market was delicious. The tour was everyone's favorite activity and those of us who are local all agreed we will do it again. Clint is very knowledgeable and can answer all of your questions. He took care of everything and all we had to do was show up. I researched a lot of wine tour companies before choosing Cellar Rat. They had the best reviews and definitely lived up to the hype. I called Cellar Rat Wine Tours to book a wine tour for a bachelorette getaway in Hill Country. Cadye was wonderful at helping me plan and put together the itinerary for the 10 ladies. The day of was wonderful and we had Clint as our guide. He was so funny and attentive to everyone and anytime we made a purchase he would scoop up our packages and take them to the van so we didn't have to carry them around. We had lunch at Hye Meadow which was delicious and the property was gorgeous! We got such great service at all the wineries which I suspect is because so many of them have such high respect for Clint! If you want the best wine tour in the Texas Hill Country (Fredericksburg area) then you must call these guys! Clem picked us up early just so he could show us an extra winery that we might have otherwise missed and he took care of 7 ladies (of all ages) and did not mind that some of our group took a little extra care. He knows everyone in the area and can give you history on every winery in the area as well as first hand knowledge of how the wine is grown and processed. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to book a tour with this company again and promise you that every penny spent will be well worth the cost. I took my wife to Fredericksburg for her birthday weekend. I booked this tour last minute and they were were great at accommodating us on such short notice. Our tour guide was Clem who was very knowledgeable about the area, all of the wineries, and the wine making process. We were made to feel at home. The van was new, clean, and comfortable. Clem made sure we were taken care of at each winery and made sure all of our questions were answered. Lunch was excellent. Clem made sure it was ready for us when we arrived at the restaurant so we didn't have to wait and take time away from the tour. We had a great time and Clem was an excellent guide. This past weekend Clem gave my fiancé, me and 4 of our very good friends a tour to 4.0 cellars, Kuhlman cellars and Becker Vineyards with Lunch at Hyde market. I really don't care for vine but I will see he defiantly changed my perception on it. I found vines that we bought bottles of and will be making a return visit and hopefully will get him and will try to request him. His knowledge of the process, from start to finish along with having answers to every question. I wish I was able to give a higher rating. My husband and I had the privilege of taking a wine tour for our first anniversary. From start to finish, everything we experienced was wonderful. Clint was our guide and he was knowledgeable and very engaging. You can tell he is passionate about what he does and loves to share his passion with people. Each winery he took us to was unique, from the environment to the wines, and the story behind each winery. We learned so much and met some wonderful people. My wife and I booked a private tour with Clint and had a great time. He is very knowledgable and seems to know everyone. We were treated like friends at every stop. His fee included mimosas upon pick up, all your tastings and tours. He even delivered lunch to us at one of our stops. By being with Clint we were able to taste some off the menu wines and we even got a sample straight from the barrel. That was a real treat and I'm sure very rare. We had a wonderful day with Chris! He was a great guide and very knowledgable about all aspects of wine making and selling. Lunch at Hye Market was included and a wonderful addition. The tours were perfectly spaced out and we even got an impromptu tour of a facility while they were making wine. Very cool! We had a group of 6 ladies on our trip and it was easy to communicate and book our tour with Moon's Voyages. We did the half-moon tour on a Saturday morning/afternoon. Ginger arrived at our Airbnb with the bus on time and after picking up other people at their various locations, we reached 4.0 Cellars for our first tasting. Our second tasting was at Hye Meadow Winery followed by lunch at Hye Market, where our lunches were ready on the table for us! We finished the day at Fat Ass Ranch & Winery before all being taken back to our respective locations. All 3 tastings were amazing! We never felt rushed or that we were on any type of time crunch. We were able to enjoy every glass and had no worries about who would have to be the designated driver. Ginger was so much fun and the absolute sweetest! She made our tour a blast by keeping us safe and making us laugh!

Brandon was super friendly and knowledgeable of the area and the different things to do in Fredericksburg. He picked everyone up from where they were staying, which was awesome. The first place he took us was to was Fiesta Winery. This place was my absolute favorite! We were allowed to pick 6 wines to try and we got to keep our tasting glasses. I got lucky and liked all 6 of mine! The next stop was the Garrison Brothers Distillery. Bourbon on a wine tour?! Super unique. This consisted of a tour of the distillery and we learned how bourbon was made. We got to try it every stage of the process. And they also taught us how to enjoy a glass of bourbon. It wasn't my cup of tea, however it was a cool experience and my boyfriend loved it! For lunch, we had some awesome sandwiches at the Hye Market. Super yummy! Our last stop was the Hye Meadow Winery. Also a cute winery. We had such a great time on this tour. Brandon gave us his card and told us to call him directly if we ever want to do it again, that way we don't do the same tour twice. We live up the road in Austin, so we definitely will be coming back very soon! Pro tip, eat before you go on this tour! You will be drinking a lot!

First he picked us up in his Excursion limo stocked with water and stemware. Went to Calais Winery first. Ben the young French-American vintner lead the tasting. He's very knowledgeable. Great boutique winery and vineyard. Then we headed to William-Chris which was larger but a fabulous spot. Tara led our tasting and it was great. Last we went to Becker. It's beautiful and lots of shopping. Got a nice tour of the processing room, bottling area and barrel room. I highly recommend George Burns and his team. We will be back!!

We requested more information online and Stephen (the owner) called immediately and was happy to answer all of questions! He sent menu options over text with descriptions of size portions. Stephen was a great tour guide he gave us information about each winery before our stop! He was super friendly and had funny jokes! He also suggested places for dinner and was happy to take photos for us, which turned out great! We went to three different winery's 4.0 cellars, castle Winery, and Lost cellars, each had 5-6 tasting! Our favorite was 4.0 Cellars and Chuck was our wine guy, we even went back the next day to purchase more bottles. We highly recommend CreekStreet Wine tours for great service and time!! Update: after 3 tours our favorite winery is Texas Wine Collective! They have a beautiful view, oil company onsite and live music on the patio. I'd recommend trying to get the limo vs the van, it's a small upcharge ~$10. Much better vibe. We were able to have them drop us off at our house after to drop everything we bought and then they dropped us off at dinner, so it was great to consolidate the amount of rides we needed
