We stopped by Signor Vineyards on our way to Fredericksburg, TX, mainly because we saw a billboard on the highway (281) saying "voted most beautiful vineyard in TX." After visiting, we get that! A beautiful place. Much time and money spent on creating this venue... gardens, buildings, everything is gorgeous! The wines were good too. Aaron was our server, he did a great job, very knowledgeable about the wines. We grabbed a couple of bags of Torres chips from the store next door! We tasted a flight of whites and a flight of wines. We preferred the whites, including the Mourvèdre rose. On the red side, the Tempranillo was outstanding. We left with a few bottles, the ones mentioned plus the sauv blanc. Worth a visit!

Signor Vineyards in Fredericksburg, Texas, offers a picturesque setting with a variety of wines, including award-winning reds and whites sourced from Texas and Oregon. We made reservations as it is recommended, especially on weekends. The estate also features Joanna's Market, providing artisanal snacks and gifts, and ample outdoor space for relaxation. Margarit was phenomenal and super sweet. She made sure we had everything we needed!

Pro Tip: have plans to eat before. Ambiance is the best thing about this place, especially when the weather is in your favor. Pricier, but what do you expect? Reservations expect a minimum 4 bottle purchase. You will for sure get good photos, and it's a encouraging environment for connecting and spending time with friends. Pinot Gris is crisp and refreshing, red blend is dry with a pleasant taste.

Our final stop on the wine tour was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped by an atmosphere of understated elegance. Our server was friendly and personable. The wine tasting was good as well. The charcuterie board, thoughtfully arranged and perfectly balanced, elevated the experience to a new level. Every bite harmonized with the wines, creating a refined and memorable tasting that delighted all the senses. This final stop truly encapsulated the spirit of the tour and left a lasting impression. If you seek beauty, quality, and impeccable attention to detail, this winery is the pinnacle.

    Glass of Tempranillo

We stopped by to end the wine trip with a glass of Tempranillo . The property was amazing and every corner had a perfect picture moment . I only had one glass of wine , which was good.

What an ADORABLE vineyard! Aesthetic and cute with rustic, Texas vibes. Photo ops everywhere and I especially love the Wine Barn. We grabbed a glass here while waiting for a table for our tasting! There's live music playing and the place is simply good vibes. During our tasting, our host was knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. I actually split a tasting with a friend since we had a full day ahead of us and it was kind of her to accommodate. The rose she recommended was amazing and we ended up taking a few bottles home! There's a cute market on the grounds called Joanna's Market where we got the yummiest massive chocolate chip cookie. They have bites and merch here as well. Love when a vineyard offers food also. This is my second time here and I'll definitely be back!

They say this place is one of the most instagrammable vineyards and we could tell why. Such beautiful set up and grounds! We found the wine was just OK though and our server was pretty young and didn't seem like the best person for giving wine tastings. The charcuterie board was solid though! Definitely would recommend coming for the ambience and gardens.

This place is very busy!!! Very popular ! If you want a quiet, light people go somewhere else. But for those that like a little noise check this place out. There's mostly outdoor seating and I saw some indoor seating. If there's a group I would reserve a table because like I said this place is a popular one! The one is good very refreshing and they have different types the will spark an interest. They have a cute market , love pianist and food as well.

We visited this winery on a recommendation. It is absolutely adorable. It was a weekday so thankfully we didn't have to wait for a table although it was crowded. Our server was fantastic. We asked him to choose our wines for the tasting and were very happy with his choices. We liked everything we tried. Our table was situated outside under a gorgeous large tree. They have fans available if needed. We order the charcuterie and it was pretty and tasty. It was a wonderful afternoon.

Beautiful winery, the flies were bad inside (it's hot ) . But we enjoyed our tasting. Service was decent. There was a hair in our jam. They took the jam back instead of replacing the entire charcuterie board.

under trees, drinking wine and eating chocolate just perfect place for outside enjoyment

Super Fancy and beautiful winery- They have a wonderful wine tasting area and cute market- Joanna's market. We didn't try any wine, we just wanted to pop in for a peak and some pictures- but we were in search of some ice cream on this hot summer day- a nice young lady told Is to check out the market- no ice cream but they had other treats and a clean bathrooms.

I came here with a group of friends. We initially came on Saturday, but there was no availability on Saturday, so we made a reservation for the following day. It is a 2-hour experience, and it is a must. You get to taste four different wines, and most are grown locally. They are transitioning to produce 100% of their wine with their own grapes. Special shoutout to Abby for being our hostess! She was very kind, relatable, and nice. She was not pushy in selling the membership (unlike some other places nearby). We learned about the company's history, which is a very lovely story, and it involves supporting mental health (Yay!). I would come here again for their wine and mission. I bought a bottle of their Alienist. A bit expensive, but also it is really good, and part of the proceeds support mental health.

The new building feels very commercial, like I'm walking into a conference room. Service was not that good either since it seems like a consumerism machine. Person-in person-out. I loved the caves but everything above takes it away from that experience!

The Fred area now features several wineries showcasing non-Texan styles--including Coordinates (South African) and Calais (Texas grapes with a French influence). Be sure to read up on the fascinating family history behind this winery! We sampled a variety of their reds, and every single one was full-bodied with its own distinct personality. The Cab Black was highly complex with lovely hints of oak. Their Chianti, the Costaveccia, was a traditional, high-end Chianti --dense yet smooth, and something I can easily envision pairing with my Sunday sauce. Another favorite was the Nero d'Avola, which drank incredibly smooth with a perfect balance of fruit and tannins. We were so impressed with their wines that we left with several bottles and a new wine club membership. The tasting room itself is bright, cool, and comfortable, complemented by a great patio, a spacious members' area, and a large function hall for events. All of their wines are brought in from Italy from a family winery in Tuscany. The Andreucci family has been making wine for over two centuries. According to their history, in 1810 the quartermaster for the French Army purchased wine from the Andreucci family to serve Napoleon's troops while they were in Italy. A reproduction of the receipt issued by the French Army is shown on the label of a number of their wines. Even back then they had a reputation for making exceptional wines. The facility is small and very bright and open, with a bar for tasting and seating ares as well. It is adjacent to the Alstadt Brewery along 290 and easy to get to. Plenty of parking is available as well. We were greeted by a lovely Italian woman (Erica) who served as our sommelier. She was an energetic and vibrant person who fully described all the nuances of each of the 5 wines we tasted. While some wineries offer a pre-defined list of tasting options, Andreucci has you select 5 wines from their entire offering list. I am more of a red wine drinker (though I do also like some whites) and my wife prefers whites, so it made for a nice option to be able to select what we wanted individually. I selected the Black Label Cabernet, Montepulciano, Merlot, Chardonnay, and Grillo. My wife also chose the Chardonnay and Grillo, as well as the Donna Alma, Primitivo, and Prosecco. Erica even brought out a sample of some amazing cheese to try with the red offering. Perfecto! All the wines we tasted were very good, and we settled on purchasing a bottle of the Black Label Cabernet and one of the Grillo. They offer a wine club membership (as most all wineries do now) and offer a red club, white club, and premium club option. No membership fees. We will definitely return to this lovely location and try some additional wines next time!
