I went to get my old Iphone a new battery. The guy said he will do it in 30 minutes. But when I got there an hour later he still hasn't even started working on the phone. Then another person walked in asking their phone to be fixed. The repair guy started to work on the other person's phone, even though they came in later. So I asked him if he will start working on my phone. He said to wait 30 more minutes. So after waiting 30 more minutes, I went in and saw that he was still working on the other phone. I asked him if he was finished with my phone and he said yes. He also said to charge the phone for a while before trying to turn the phone onn. I charged the phone for 5 hours and it never turned on. The service was completely unacceptable and unprofessional. One person said the MacBook would be repaired the following day and would call to let me know. Never got an update until 2 days later. I had to call to find out the status and was told by another person that the part was never ordered. Then they promised it would be completed over the weekend and they would call to confirm it was completed, but once again, never got a call. When I called them, they claimed they didn't have the right tool to fix it (we are now 3 days out since I first dropped it off). Told me it would be done the beginning of the next week. You would think after all that, they would make due on completing the repair. Nope, this time they called me but only to tell me it still wasn't completed yet. I just went back and got my refund (not sure why I had to pay in advance). That was my first time going there but after such an experience, I will never return and will NOT recommend this place to anyone. If this is the kind of service that is being given, it is surely needs to be given no stars. read more

I had two broken screen iPhones we took to Cellfix Brandon a few months ago. Within a week of each other both displays just stopped working. I attempted to take it to Brandon to get it fixed and he told me to contact corporate to see what can be done. Both displays just stop working at the same time (within a week). I am just requesting one to be fixed, obviously y'all had a bad batch of screens or something. UBreakIFix agreed it was a faulty screen and shook their head cause they knew immediately who I was talking about. Would not recommend cellfix. I contacted them via email, would like a full refund for both glass replacements. But don't see that happening. Wouldn't recommend. read more

For a brief moment, I was happy with getting a new upgraded refurbished phone! After a short while the glitches started. The phone, a Samsung, would close in the middle of calls and just go black! Too many dropped calls interrupting my Employment Opportunities as well as Medical needs. So last Friday I realized that I had thrown good money away at Cell~Fix for a useless phone and went to a Reliable seller and bought a New Phone there. It works and I paid basically the same price. My pricey iPad Air flew off the hood of my car and I thought it was ruined beyond repair, I had no insurance on it . I took it to the cell repair place in Brandon near the AMC movie theater, and the tech said in technological gibberish that he couldn't fix it to take it to Apple across the way at the mall. I decided to look further before going there, I called 6 places and stopped in at two on Adamo drive none were convincing and the price they quoted for the repair was making me think I might as well just chuck it. CellFix on W Brandon Blvd was my last stop, the gentleman there assured me he would look out for me and he did! The price was better and he was honest about the wait for the screen, I got my iPad Air back good as new, and it's still working almost a year later. I waited this long to be sure I had a device that was truly repaired to my satisfaction. I've gone back and have purchased another iPad from them several cases and screen protectors for the kids phones and devices. BEWARE!! I called the store in Brandon to see if I could just walk in without an appointment to have my cell phone screen fixed (it was cracked). I was told to come on in. I then inquired if they had the screen for my exact phone. I was told, Yeah, we got it. It will take me 20 mins to fix. I was on my way to another appt, but since this was only going to take 20 mins, I turned around and went to the store. I entered the store and met the gentleman that I spoke with on the phone and handed him my cracked phone. He wanted payment up front. I reluctantly paid. I then told him I would sit in the chairs there in the store and wait for him to fix my phone. He proceeded to tell me that I could not sit in the store and wait since he would be in the back of the store. Okay, fine. So I went to sit in my car. I no sooner got in my car, he comes out to me and says he doesn't have the part there. Could I drive to the Tampa store. WHAT?!! I just paid you 140.00 to fix my phone and now you want me to drive to a Tampa store to get it fixed?! My other option was to wait for his general manager to bring him the part. I asked how long that would take. He told me later that afternoon. Keeping in mind it is 10:30 in the morning. So I told him I had errands to run and that I would be back later. I ran my errands and called around 1:30, 2:00 to see what the situation was with the phone. The gentleman answered the phone and told me that he still hadn't received the part but that it would be around 3:30, 4:00 before I could get the phone back. I expressed my unhappiness and hung up the phone. I called the store again at some point only for it to go to voicemail, so I got proceeded to go to the store. When I arrived at 3:30, I was told he still hadn't received the part. I did get my phone back and was issued a refund. I asked to get the general manager's phone number and was refused. I got close to home and the general manager did call me explaining it was a misunderstanding; that the part showed in the system at that store but it was never in stock. He offered a discount to make it better but by that time it was too late. It was not about the money but about my time. I had other things planned that day and I waited around to get a phone repaired that was supposed to take 20 mins. AND the fact that I was asked to drive a good 20 mins to another store to get it repaired really added fuel to the fire. Come on, do better!!! I will not be returning. read more
