No Customer Service. Did not repair screen properly and never apologized for the inconvenience. Would not refund any portion of money paid. Grandson took phone for repair on Sat. Sept. 1 around 3pm(they close at 4pm). When he got home and looked at phone to use it, the screen was moving, jumping, unable to function. He took phone to Batteries Plus, they fixed phone. We went to Mobile Tech on Tues. Sept 1 to request a partial refund. They never apologized for his inconvenience, but advised that since he made the maintenance agreement invalid by getting phone fixed by another Vendor there was nothing they could do and they don't do Refunds. When I informed them that I was going to file a complaint with the BBB, the male behind the Counter said, "Just don't come back". Spent $192 for new LCD for Galaxy S5. Went back four times to get it re-fixed without resolution. Was told "no returns." First time - I noticed a burn in on the screen (sidenote: you get a remanufactured screen not new screen when you replace the LCD... I did not know this). They replaced the LCD screen again. Second time - the glass for the screen was not glued properly and kept coming up. Came back and they fixed it. Third time, screen was coming up again. I returned and they fixed it. Fourth time, screen is unglued AGAIN. Returned and just asked for my money back b/c I was getting frustrated. I was told that I have a 90 day warranty and can keep using that but there is no refund. Great... who is going to continue to come back every other day for 90 days to get their phone fixed? It is okay place to get the screen fixed. I was quoted $50 but the LCD screen had burn marks so I had to replace it for &192. But, if you have a problem with it later on, good luck trying to get it resolved. After asking around for quotes to replace my Samsung s4 screen in St. Pete, I ventured out to Tampa because some people are just charging ridiculous prices! I'm so happy to have found their listing on Craigslist advertising $150 for a LCD/digitizer screen. It was actually a special they had because it's usually $200. They were quick. Took them about 2 hours. Sounds long but they had a lot of customers in one day. You can tell they do a great job when you walk into their tiny shop to see a line formed. Great customer service! Made a appointment for 11o o clock , got there a little early and began right away with fixing my iPhone 6 Plus. It was a 30 minute wait, and was a good waiting time, they also had a NES for entertainment while you wait for your phone. They had no bathroom, so I had to walk next door. I dropped my iPhone and had to have the broken screen fixed. I found Mobil Tech on the Yelp list and called to make sure they were open. The women at the front counter were friendly. They had the technician look at my phone and then said that they had other customers who they were serving but my phone would be fixed in an hour and a half. Are we serious? PLEASE READ IF IT'S A POSITIVE REVIEW IT'S BECAUSE THEY POSTED TOO SOON! Yeah let's pay half the price to have our expensive technology fixed.. It always seems like a great idea at the time, and now I will never take my devices anyyyyyyyywhere but their original manufacturer. If anyone wants proof, they can contact me and I can show what Apple sent me themselves upon inspection. They gave the quality of work a 0 on a scale of 10. I broke the screen to my 6 right after it came out, work accident led to it hitting the tile. Took to mobile tech simply bc I wanted an instant fix - I was furious I had just broken my 6 . ( I'm a lifeproofer, every phone I own goes in a lifeproof nuud - case wasn't available immediately after purchase) Long story short, an hour later poof - perfectly fixed iphone 6 right? WRONG The phone was never dropped again, but my screen started raising off of the phone. In the process of completely separating itself from the device. Then it stopped responding to touch. The blonde at the counter said I must've broke it and the only fix was another several hundred dollar fix since now the entire screen wouldn't respond to touch. What am I to do right? Now a couple hundred into Mobile tech and over a Grand into my 6 - my screen starts raising off the phone again! Just days later! I bring back to Mobile tech - she apologizes and has them fix. Now I live an hour from this place. This was already beyond ridiculous Now here's the kicker!!! That day I buy my lifeproof nuud case as it finally releases; and it has never been removed. Yet I have a screen fracture in the corner, and several below-the-surface scratches that look like a Lion took their paw and repeatedly scratched my screen. You cannot feel them, but boy to they look god awful. The phone hasn't even been dropped in it's case yet - but the quality of their product is breaking due to shock of simple tasks! Putting your phone in your pocket, placing your phone on the table when you get home, etc. I love the question I always get asked - "How the heck did you do that to your phone?" Because then I get to explain oh nothing - just like most people I cracked the screen once, but took it to Mobile Tech to get replaced; you know that one place that charges so cheap to go there so everyone does - yeah well, now you see why." I am posting now for one simple reason - AWARENESS. I run businesses myself, I know people how quality and customer service vary by industry and location. I chalked all of this up to my own stupidity of paying a place so little below market value for such a tasks. However, after seeing several posts by friends on Social Media about "going to take my phone to that $80 place" and steering them all free and clear from there, I decided I had to do my due diligence to the greater public. This long review still doesn't include everything, but please trust me. I am not the only one I know who this happened to nor am I the only customer who has written on here. Please please get these people out of here! If they offered me a lifetime replacement plan for every device I own right now - I would say HELL NO! Please don't fall victim. You sought out a cheap fix due to finances right? Well don't end up in an even greater hole b/c of them. It's cheaper to pay apple then it is to pay them to ruin your phone, that can never be looked at again b/c a third party opened your phone. These people really know what they're doing. I cracked three phone screens over a relatively short period of time and everywhere else I checked was going to charge me an arm and a leg to fix them. I was referred to Mobile Tech by a friend on Facebook and the owner, Heather, personally messaged me, answered all of my questions AND gave me quotes. I went to get my phones fixed today and got all three (two iPhones and a Samsung Galaxy Note) fixed for the price some people were charging to fix just one of them! I dropped my phones off around 1 pm and they were done by the end of the day. They even stayed open a little later for me because I was coming from the other side of town. At first, I thought they had done a great job fixing my IPhone 5S Glass. I even bought 2 Otter Box's. One of them went directly on my phone before I even left the store. Now, I admit when I drop or break things. Since I have had the phone back, it has NOT been dropped or pushed up against anything at all. Magically, 3 cracks appear at the top of the screen. I contact Mobile Tech for some possible assistance, and they keep saying warranty this, and warranty that. They will not even remotely take any responsibility and admit they messed up.
