Horrible experience with this business. Brought my new watch (still in packaging) in for engraving. Was returned a scratched item, was not offered any discount for the service. They did volunteer to sand the watch, which would take off all watch identifiers (no way). I'm very unhappy, I requested a call from the owner and was told by an employee that it was not needed.... I have only one wind up watch. Even though I don't use it a lot, I thought it wasn't running right. I brought it to another watch reparer, and he said I didn't now how to wind it and I thought that didn't make sense. I finally got around to bringing it here, and he took the time to explain that windup watches are automatic, and it you don't wind them, after 48 hours they stop. So far it seems to be running well, if not I have confidence they will fix it correctly. He didn't charge me a penny. I will bring my repairs here. read more

My wife and I have been customers of Cellini Design Jewelers for many years, and we love the place. The store is drop-dead gorgeous, and Cellini's carries a wide variety of fine jewelry and high end costume jewelry by major designers. It has the BEST service and as the name implies, can custom-design and repair jewelry, reset gems, etc. The owners go out of their way to be helpful, and are totally honest. I gotta wonder whether the two negative reviewers are shills for the competition, particularly the one that names nearby competing jewelry stores. I've had my watches and rings in for repairs several times, and they always do it right at a fair price. Sometimes the repairs are free! The trunk shows are great, and the store parties are lots of fun. Now, I've got a one-of-a-kind piece made with my own stones that resembles and was deigned by the jeweler whose sample piece I fell in love with at the store. I will never go to another jeweler, first of all a very clean and courteous store with staff that are nothing but helpful, honest, and willing to work with you and your needs. I brought in about 15 pieces of jewelry, not only did he not give me some bs about this piece and that piece he was very honest in pricing and what is worth it and not, he gave me exact details about how to sell it to make more money on E-bay than to consign. I was In Cellini Jewelers today. I had a horrible experience speaking to a woman who claimed to be an owner of this shop. I was having a conversation with another customer and she was eves dropping and did not hear the entire conversation. She asked questions about the conversation and was accusatory and rude. I went into the shop with the intention of purchasing two items that I had looked at previously. I left without the purchases. This shop has a few decent items along with a lot of really boring items. Vincent Jewelers in Milford, Valentino Jewelers and Diamond Designs are area jewelers that I recommend. Cellini Jewelers spends money on billboard advertising. Purely from a business point of view, why spend advertising $$$ to bring people in to your shop just to treat them in this manner? I wish that I could give this establishment 0 stars..... A small update... The owner just replied. I want Bob to understand that I review businesses as a "warning". I do not review them for their own pr. That is their job. That being said, I was planning to purchase something from the sale area. That is why I was "hovering". Beware of this place if you're looking to have a nice watch serviced. One of the owners tried to convince me that an Omega I brought in for servicing was a fake, and then sleazily tried to peddle some of his used watches. I went to an Omega boutique the next day and had my watch authenticated, so he clearly has absolutely no idea what he's talking about, despite his repeated, arrogant assertions about what an experienced expert he is.
