I bought 2 new-to-me used phones here in Dec 2023. One was a backup that I've never used because the other one - a Pixl - operated fine. However, I ended up not liking the Pixl for various reasons, but it took almost a year - until Oct 2024 - for me to find the time to return to the store, sell it back to them, and buy a Samsung. Angelo assisted me in 2023 and Kevin in 2024. In both situations, the service was great. They transferred all my data with no issues whatsoever, explained along the way what they were doing, kept me posted on the transfer progress, and let me check things out before wiping clean the old phones. Asked for and received involved counsel on decision factors of upgrading my iphone 11 to an iphone 13 pro instead of 14 pro as I had first thought from my online research. A human perspective to guide me through the various choices and their consequences represented significant value in the interaction---for me, a 13 pro served all my purposes I had assumed I needed from a 14 pro, so I went with the 13 pro. I am not tech-savvy enough to appreciate all the advances of later models but frankly do not do enough with my phone to warrant a 14-15-16; hopefully I will move up the learning curve. Had been ruminating on the decision for over a year but was at a loss on how to pull trigger for want of patient guidance. Familiar with Cellular Exchange for years driving by; this was my first visit. I believe perhaps more important than the buy-sell business function is the ability to diagnose and repair. I just wanted to give a special thanks to the amazing staff at cellular exchange. I had a used iPhone 14 Pro that no one could fix. It didn't need any physical fixing. It was just stuck with an eSIM from a prior service. I have taken this phone to several people For more than a year and no one could solve it. Until Angelo tried several options until he found a solution. My phone now is able to be activated and has zero issues. Some how this store has a way of removing negative reviews. Long story, they owe me almost $300, sold an i13 phone to me, it was crap, returned it the next day to only find out no refunds. I am still using myi10 phone. They get $300, the i13 cost $500+, and the i13 phone back. Took me 4 extra trips back to the store to get everything straightened on my i10 after they left out the SIM card etc. out due to their incompetence, and I kept my i10 phone which out performed the i13 they tried to sell. My original i10 is working great even after they replaced the screen and theat new screen cracked after 3 weeks. After it broke, I went to The Fix for this screen repair, in and out in 15 minutes and they did not need my pw! Previous 1 star review was on 12/18/24. See if you can find that, I cannot If these guys were really business people they would refund my money and I will sing them praises on their honesty. If $300 means so much to them then hopefully these negative reviews, this is the third as they can remove reviews, will cost them much more then $300. SHOPPER BEWARE ! read more

My son left his Samsung Galaxy A32 outside on our back patio table and our coonhound puppy found it and chewed through the case, shattering the screen. The first phone repair shop we called couldn't help us so we called Cellular Exchange. The guy my husband spoke to told us it would be about a $150 repair (this is what we were quoted by other places, give or take $20) and that due to the model's screen, our fingerprint ID wouldn't work again. We went up there a few hours later, paid the same price we had been quoted on the phone and were told he'd be done with the repair in an hour. Came back in an hour and the phone looked brand new. The repairman (unfortunately I didn't get his name) was very friendly to my son, my husband and I, did the work he promised for the price he promised. read more

I took my iPhone 6s+ here to have the screen replaced...I should have checked the reviews first. Everything seemed wonderful, at first. The price was fair and the service was done in less than half an hour. Once home I realized the ear speaker was no longer working, meaning I had to put my phone on speaker to hear anything while making a call. I called within 30 minutes of leaving the store and the guy who did the repair got defensive when I mentioned the speaker was no longer working. He insisted that it was damaged before I took it in and stated that he hadn't even gone near the speaker while replacing the screen. I mentioned that it was working when I took it in and he said he'd look at it, but he could already tell me that I was going to need to replace it, which was going to require additional costs. I'm like, um....okay? I decided to check the reviews at this point and decided I'd be better off to just have someone else check out the problem with the speaker. I found a mobile repair person who came to my house the following day. I watched as he carefully took my phone apart and opened the cover for the speaker/camera area. He pulled out the speaker with its connecting wiring that attaches to the speaker, camera, and some other component. After looking at it, the new repair person showed me how the original circuitry had been replaced with an aftermarket part . The way he knew this was because the aftermarket part had Chinese lettering printed on it in white . Meaning: obviously the guy at cellular exchange replaced this part, for whatever reason. Maybe he takes good parts from phones and doubles his profit by getting people to come back and buy their original part back... Maybe he just damaged it somehow while replacing the screen on my phone and lied to me about it... Either way, the way they handle business is dishonest. read more

So, my phone died after a few years of being dropped everywhere, rained on and left outside in the hot sun. It simply went blank, no way to enter a pass code. It was his time. I went back to Cellular Exchange to find Angelo, again . He has helped my husband and i to find just the right phone for us. Not the most expensive, not the cheapest or fancier but THE RIGHT CELL PHONE for my husband and myself. This is the 4th phone we have bought from this store. And he also fixed our screens a couple of times for a lot less then the other stores. Angelo is still the most helpful and kind man, he took his time to help me choose, transfer data and set up my new phone just right. There was no pressure, and no rush. TL;DR - DO NOT BRING YOUR PHONE HERE TO BE REPAIRED!!!!! While my original opinion of those company was initially positive, they fixed my S7 battery (or so it appeared) as they should have, what they didn't do is use quality parts. After 3 months, the back of my galaxy S7 started bulging out, being held together merely by the Otterbox case itself, with the life of the battery in question after the second month. Since I can clearly see the nature of this company's customer service practices are combative and not helpful, based on other Yelpers experiences, I don't expect to return to complain to them to make it right as they'll tell me that they did the work without a warranty, so I'll just warn off any other people from coming here for service. It's not worth your time and energy to spend 70 bucks to replace your battery when quality is so terrible. This battery only holds a charge of 1 hour after 4 months, which is truly the saddest part of all. Additionally, the battery is now bulging out of the case, splitting the back of the phone off of the chassis. I would not come back to this company with my business ever again. They charged me 70 dollars to replace my s7 battery, after the fact I noticed their website quotes a price of 50. So how is it if a business is working on your phone and damages it, it's the customers fault? No customer should ever be at fault for the repair of their phone, ever! There are other more reputable options (ubreakifix, cpr (cell phone repair), etc) to replace your phone parts which I would hope would treat their defects / issues with a lot more responsiveness and a desire to keep their customers happy, rather than hide behind a "you signed a waiver" attitude. It's never a good idea to fight with your customers, it's not a winning strategy on any level for your business. Avoid this business like the plague. read more

Do NOT, I repeat, DO NOT bring your phone here for a repair. I'm only giving 2 stars because they DID fix my shattered screen. But, in doing so they lost the gasket that holds the proximity sensor in place, so any time I made a call, the screen went black and I couldn't interact with my phone at all, including hanging up. The crappy part of this is that they make you sign a disclaimer that basically says if they break something while they're fixing your phone, they don't HAVE to do anything about it. I brought it back in after I called and they told me they'd take a look at it because it was still under warranty. Great. They then told me that they couldn't fix it. That they'd tried for a couple of hours and didn't have any luck. They also told me that "it didn't work, but it doesn't look like it's broken". I didn't understand that at the time. I then took said phone to another repair shop, who told me that the reason it wasn't working right was that the gasket that was supposed to hold the sensor in place had been replaced with one that wasn't for my phone. (I should mention THESE People were able to fix my phone) So one of two things happened: 1-they lost the gasket when they were fixing the screen and tried to replace it with a part that wasn't right. Then, when I brought it back, they pretended they didn't know why it wasn't working 2-they lost the gasket while they were fixing my screen and tried to replace it with the wrong part when I brought it back Either way, someone either wasn't telling me the truth or they weren't knowledgeable enough to know they'd tried to fix it with the wrong part. Don't give these people your money read more

My daughter brought her phone in here for a screen replacement. He phone worked fine, but the screen was shattered. Once they replaced the screen, her phone did not work properly. She went in for a refund, which they did not want to give her, but clearly states on the receipt that you have 30 days. After a bit of back and forth, they agreed to put "her old" screen back on & refunded her money. Of course, it was not her old screen, but another random damaged screen. The phone was even worse than before, completely unusable, which was no surprise. Took the phone to Apple, which I should have done in the first place, and the phone is now like new. Save yourself the time, energy & frustration....AVOID this place! read more

My iPhone 6 Plus wouldnt do anything when I was touching the screen so I went here. I was helped by Javier Jaimes he told me that iPhone 6 Plus this happens all the time. I still wanted to try a new screen and he did not hesitate to help. The phone worked for an hour and then did the same thing. The next day I took it back and Javier helped me again. He gave me the full money back in store credit so I could buy another phone from there. I picked out the S 5 and I didn't have to pay anything extra. When I went to my truck I started thinking I wanted to have a better phone so I went back in and asked if I could trade it for another and again no hesitation he went right back to work. The phone never worked right and had a 14 day warranty. Returned for another phone, this phone did not charge over usb, waste of time; returned for another phone. This phone does not have a working antennae; returned. The last phone shuts itself off and does not work correctly. You cannot get refunds here!
