As I work in Lansing I requested my mother to go and pick it up Wednesday where she was told and called me and put the phone on speaker that the Liquid Metal they had actually wasn't correct and the new Liquid Metal would be there later that day. I eventually showed up to the store the 27th where I was told again the Liquid Metal wasn't there and I requested a tracking number and better updates. The shop claimed they had reached out but after review of my phone records no attempts were made until after that Saturday. They eventually put the new Liquid Metal in when it had arrived and messaged me about this and then called telling me the fix did not work. On Thursday July 2nd my mother had returned to pick up the laptop. When I came home July 3rd to see if everything worked out good I find many more Scrapes and scratches on the laptop and when turning it on the fans had a hitting sound leading me to believe the laptop was assembled incorrectly when picked up. The 1 star rating does not reflect my opinion of this store as I believe it to be much lower. I find it insane to charge nearly 200$ for a Liquid Metal replacement then after 2 weeks of waiting receiving a laptop that has more issues than when I dropped it off. This store created more issues to the point i don't feel comfortable turning this laptop back on. A new laptop in 2024 that cost 3600$ that now is a paperweight till a competent repair place looks into this and hopefully can repair it. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PC'S HERE.

BlackBerry is down to less than 1% of the market, so not very many phone repair shops have any experience with the current/recent BlackBerry lineup. I made over a dozen phone calls to different phone repair places, all with the same result - "We don't work on those. No idea where you could get it repaired". I took my BlackBerry Priv to Japan and the Philippines on a business trip, and even though I used the correct voltage converters in both places, something went wrong, and my phone stopped working. As in, I couldn't even turn it on. These guys fixed it, quickly, and reasonably, and I would recommend their services to anyone. Kudos.

I've had unfortunate experiences at other cellphone repair shops in the past, but I must say that this place changed my point of view. After talking to the staff I could tell they were very professional, knowledgeable, and most importantly honest. I could tell they were trying to help me resolve my problem and not just make a quick buck. The technician was able to fix my phone while I waited, other places tried to jack up the price by using fancy jargon like "digitizer". Theses guys explained to me what all these words meant and also coached me on how to avoid future troubles with my device. All said, it was worth repairing my phone, after all I am paying for an almost $1000 device, and definitely trust this store with my phone, will be a frequent customer for all mobile device repairs. read more

The black service guy kept my phone over a week promised to call and never did, and when I came to see what the beck is going In he gave me some baloney excuse why he didn't have time to work on it, and even forgot what to do on it. I wanted one phone SIM transferred to another, and he says well I couldn't order parts. Well I never wanted parts ordered. The guy was extremely high smoking pot on the job , sitting around doing absolutely nothing , and didn't bother to call me once. Unprofessional and would never recommend my worst enemy to that moron. read more

I dropped my phone Thursday morning and was informed about this place by a friend who knew I did not want to purchase a whole new phone. I called to see how the process worked and if it could be completed today. Rich told me he had my phone screen in stock and that it should take no longer than an hour. Rich was very professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. It took less than 45 minutes and I walked out with a new screen, screen protector as well as a new case. I would recommend this place 100% to anyone with a cracked screen or tablet. read more

He did the repair work and after I picked the phone up, I noticed that the Face ID did not work. I gave him a call and he explained that he 'forgot' to tell me that the Face ID would no longer work because 'that's just what happens' when the screen needs to be replaced and the senor is damaged. I wasn't too happy about no longer having Face ID, and that should definitely been a conversation at the time of repair, but I just accepted it as it was. I also made him aware that the screen was lifting on the left side in the middle, so much so that it was noticeable from the side and from the front when looking at the screen. I was told that I could bring the phone back to the shop to have the lifted screen repaired. Once I arrived at the shop with the phone, he took a look at it and said 'oh yeah, that's just how these aftermarket screens sit'. There was also a light showing through in the bottom corner of the screen, and when I asked him about it he replied 'yeah, that's just there because it's a new screen but it won't hurt anything'. There were no lights showing through before my screen was fixed. The screen wasn't even broken, it was lifting at the top. I was also told that even if he replaced the screen, it would still be lifted because there was nothing he could do to fix. IRONICALLY, that was the very last screen that he had in-store to fit my phone, RIGHT! He then argued with me that he'd been doing this for 10 years and no one EVER complained to him that the screen was lifting, despite him also saying that all of the after-market screens sit this way. He acknowledged that it was uneven and lifting, but refused to admit that it was a quality issue. He made it a point to tell me how this screen was better than the one I had before. I'm not required to be grateful for a low quality repair job that I PAID for, especially when it's given with poor customer service. Just because it's better, doesn't meant that it's acceptable. I was told that it was my opinion that my screen shouldn't be lifting and that the screen shouldn't sit that way on the phone. I can only speak for my experience here, so if anyone else has had luck with this business, good for you. I was not so lucky. He's very nice when you meet him, but if you have any issues with the repair he will try and gaslight you in to accepting subpar work. He said that all of the aftermarket screens fit my phone that way, I've had my phone screen repaired before at another location and I've never had this issue. I don't recommend this business. Find another business or you'll have to have it replaced twice like me.

After the first week without hearing anything I decided to call and get a status report: they told me I would have to wait another week for the part to come in. After not hearing anything for another week, again, I called expecting a status report. They told me that the technician would be in in about 15 mins and I would receive a call. After not hearing anything for an hour I called and was told that he wouldn't be in for another 45 minutes. All I wanted was a status report! Finally after another hour, I got a call from the technician saying that the part hasn't come in yet. The next day I received a call saying there was nothing else they could do: that the shop I had taken it to before had done damage to it and that the part wasn't fitting properly. They also mentioned that the laptop wouldn't even turn on. I figured that it wouldn't from the start since I haven't been able to maintain a charge... DUH. Nonetheless, they said they wouldn't charge me anything. When I went in to pick up my laptop they couldn't find my charger. Later, upon further inspection when I had taken it to another facility: we noticed that the keyboard had been damaged and didn't work anymore. It wasn't like that when I dropped it off at Battery Shack... The only good thing is that they didn't charge me for the part they had to order. Other than that I can't find any positives for this facility. I had no communication while they were trying to fix it, and they broke my keyboard. I'm beyond frustrated with this experience. What a waste of my time.
