Once again, these guys came thru for me! My iPhone 11 was giving me a problem shortly after I downloaded the latest update. I literally couldn't use my phone; the screen wouldn't respond to my touch. I brought into the store since I recently had theM replace the screen a couple of months ago in hopes they could help. Michael was able to look at my phone and do a factory reset and get me on my way. He really helped me out of a serious jamb. I went to the Verizon store before heading over to Batteries Plus Bulbs - 31044 Gratiot Ave, Roseville, MI 48066 and they wouldn't even try. They said "call apple, it probably needs to be replaced". Store clearly has a lot of batteries and they also seem to be very knowledgeable. However, the last one I purchased didn't last that long and I suspect the quality wasn't there. Ever get tired of having to walk all the way up to your car to use the remote for unlocking the doors? Or even worse yet, you actually have to put your key in the door lock and unlock your door by hand? Well, I finally got tired of it yesterday and did something about it. While in Cracker Jacks, having a Molson`s on tap in a CocaCola glass, I pondered the convenience of using my remote to unlock the car. All of a sudden, my mind was illuminated and I realized I was just over a mile away from Batteries Plus Bulbs. I hastily finished my beer and headed out the door, apologizing to my most gracious bartender, letting her know I was on a mission. Arriving at the battery store, I was warmly greeted. I explained my plight, the two gentlemen on the other side of the counter understanding completely. The younger one, TJacobs, went to work right away, extracting the well-worn battery and set about to cleaning the insides of my remote. He tested the voltage of the old battery and assured me it was a bit low. Out came a new battery from it's sealed package, a voltage test to the new one, and made ready for installation. Installation complete, assembly commenced. Once everything was assembled, they asked me to please try it out and make sure it did the trick. Sure enough, the repair was excellent and I was soon ready to depart. While they prepared the bill, I asked about the availability of a military discount. I learned that it was not corporate policy to offer such a discount, but that indeed, the store manager would be happy to extend a 10% discount to my purchases. Many thanx for a job well-done. This store was just what I needed!!!! My cellphone battery completely burnt out a couple of months ago and I couldn't find a replacement battery for my cell, anywhere. I did what most people would do, in that situation and order a battery online. After a few months, the "new battery" had also burnt out, I was pissed. I called my cellphone provider and informed them of the hassle and confusion with them, not carrying batteries for cell phones that they were still selling. It was ridiculous!!!! The representative respond by telling me not to worry I was eligible for an upgrade and she could send me a new phone today. I am so glad this was a phone call and I wasn't in front of this woman when she said that. Needless to say, I refused her offer, there's no way I am buying a new cell phone, when the only thing I need is a damn battery! On my search for a battery, I came across Batteries Plus Bulbs on my way to Best Buy. I was greeted with smiling faces and awesome customer service.
