The book cases that surrounded the fireplace were in need of fresh paint and we wanted an area over the fireplace for our TV. Michael's guys were able to drill small holes and run the wires to our TV and cable boxes; as well as hide the excess wires. We now have a fresh look with crisp white book cases and mantel. The pink bricks are gone and we have beautiful nautical navy blue bricks. Full transparency, Michael is my brother in law, but if my refresh was anything less than fresh I wouldn't be writing a rave review. Started out well. Initial work was fine. But then was postponed repeatedly. In the end, some of…read morethe work done on the outside of our home was prepped poorly. But then he left some work primed, some sanded to bare wood and could never find time to come back and finish. When I pressed for completion of what he he started, he offered to send someone on a weekend day, at more than twice the usual cost. So he leaves work unfinished and then wants me to pay double to have it finished. Clearly his other customers were more important. On balance, not a good experience.

Are you amused and delighted by, the Rhesus riotousness, the Capuchin chaos, or maybe even Macaque mania? If so, then these guys are for you. Because, with "One Stop Painting" it's Monkeys all the way down. "One Stop Painting" doesn't offer "Craftsmanship", "High-Quality Service", nor Professionalism in any sense of those words. But, they will "transform your Space" into a Monkey enclosure, with all the attendant fecal matter. Let's forego the Zoo for now and move on to outcomes. Painting is both a skill and an art. "One Stop Painting" offers neither. Paint "Flash" everywhere. "Holidays" everywhere. Entire sections of molding not caulked. Walls not properly prepared; Wall paper removed, and no surface prep was completed before painting. Paint on the floors, paint on my shoes and clothing (bedroom). Paint on the bath/shower. Repairs to "Popcorn" ceiling were filled with caulk and painted over. They do sell a filler for just such a thing. Sanding dust (from what little spackle was used) everywhere; no clean up. I requested "Benjamin Moore, but got "Sherwin Williams" instead. Also, the wrong variant of "limestone". I work for and mix paint for a "Benjamin Moore" retailer, and receive a significant discount on their paint. But, Mr. Cohen stated "He would take care of it". He didn't. Let's speak of the "Craftspeople" onsite. One old Man (like myself) , and a young Woman. Both of whom are being totally exploited by Mr. Cohen, were basically "high" the entire time. Hence the lack of attention to detail. As for Mr Cohen; after a walk through/punch list meeting he was dismissive, of any concerns. He is also a coward and a charlatan; after a reasonable period of time, inquiries were made as to how he would like to proceed. His lack of response is telling. Basically, "not my Circus, not my Monkeys"approach. But such things from a MAGA contractor, I shouldn't be surprised. One would be best served by avoiding "One Stop Painting".

They sealed away a lot of old dark green and earthtone colors and then repainted everything to a modern white. It was perfect. They spend a lot of time on detail. By far the best painters I have worked with.
