But I have now been here a few times. The owner, Sharon, is great to work with and always takes time to answer my questions or make helpful suggestions. I am fairly new to quilting, but I'm hooked! Sharon also long-arm quilted a large, king-sized quilt for me, and it turned out great for a wedding gift. I would not have been able to quilt it myself on my home machine, and she finished it within a few weeks for me. Every time I have visited, here are some new, great quality fabrics. For me, this is over a 30-40 minute drive from home, but it is worth it for the quality materials, notions, and help I can get from Sharon. If you like to sew or craft, this is definitely a wonderful store to visit.

Most recently, I went there looking for circular needles, which she didn't have in the size I wanted. She was insistent--when I declined having her order them--that I buy regular needles--and that it would be better for me to make my project using them rather than the circular needles. Perhaps she was trying to be helpful. I don't doubt that she knows a lot about knitting. Yet, she came off as being pushy and intrusive. I ended up leaving the store as she continued to insist that I buy the other needles and deciding that I would not return.
