After using Celtic for both my properties over several years, I was forced to stop using them this season. The new owner will not communicate whatsoever. Do not use this company. I had some trees and bushes planted. One of the trees died and Neal convinced me he would replace this year. I called Celtic 11 times and always intercepted by their answering service who ensured me they would get the message to him. Never called back and just being ignored. They do not honor their warranty at all since it is not money in the pocket service. Others have given me same feedback on this company. read more

Celtic landscaping had their crew at my home and their crew walked between my vehicles and dragged a piece of equipment across one of the hoods of my vehicle. When called them they said we talked to the crew they didn't do it to bad.. It'll cost $800.00 to fix my hood I took the car to a trusted body shop. They buffed my car for 3 and half hours trying to remove the scratch. It's too deep, this car has never had a claim in 22 years original paint no accidents it's a classic car. I wouldn't trust this shady business to be around my home it's not the fist time they lied and tried to get extra money out of me. Thank you manager David k. I'm shocked to see the number of negative reviews on this site. We had Celtic do our full yard landscaping including sod last summer and are absolutely pleased with their work and service. Neal also suggested we put a small paver patio down for our grill, and that also is still perfect. In fact, one of the trees put in our backyard never took and was replaced this past spring at no charge to us. We also use Celtic as our weekly lawn maintenance company and they are prompt, fast and very attentive. I have small children and they always seem to find their toys prior to cutting and place them on our back patio Again, I'm shocked at the poor reviews. Neal and his crews are top notch. read more

Like the other review, if I could give them negative stars I would. Long story short they addressed a sump pump drainage problem we were having. They ended up running it to a location that ended up flooding our yard. The female employee that we spoke with was less than helpful. We ended up hiring someone else to fix the problem, look elsewhere if you need work done. read more

I would never use them again. We put a deposit down on landscaping and then all communication stopped. We had to continuously reach out to them to follow up on the start of the project and were given the run around. Our project took over 8 weeks to start and then once they were here they stained the driveway with mulch and charged for items on their invoice that they did not complete. Met with Sandra from Celtic to get the professional help I needed to clean up my front, side and back yard which had not had any TLC all year. I also needed a lot of advise on design and also keeping some of the bushes and plants that meant a lot to me personally. Sandra came out and offered a lot of suggestions and said she would put together a bid and email it to me in 2/3 days. She kept her word and I had it in 2 days. I accepted her bid and she indicated it would be 4/6 weeks before they could do the work which I understood as it is summer season and a busy time for landscapers. She kept in touch with me every 2/3 weeks to give me an update on when they would be out. The crew was here yesterday and worked steady in all the 90+ heat and humidity. Their crew was helpful and treated me with respect. I highly recommend them and will use them again. read more

Unfortunately, I have to give this company at least one star for the review to post. If I could give negative stars, that would be more appropriate. We had Celtic come out and redo our paver patio a couple years ago after we had our pool put in. We paid Celtic thousands of dollars to do this. Within a couple months, the bricks at the edges of the patio started falling away due to the sand being washed away (poor drainage design by them). The following year we had bricks along one of our retaining walls start to sink and the sand underneath was being washed out from under the retaining wall also. After several attempts to contact Celtic by both email and phone, we finally got a hold of someone. They came out at some point and put fabric under the sinking bricks and I assume put more base down (I don't know for sure because they never called to say they were coming, or that they had been here. I noticed one day that the bricks weren't sunk anymore and there was black fabric sticking out between several bricks. It's still sticking out). Later in the summer, we noticed that the bricks around the pool are sinking horribly and one of the retaining walls is about to collapse, again due to horrible drainage planning and the sand/base being washed out from underneath. After many attempts, AGAIN, to contact Celtic, we finally got a hold of the owner. He came out and told us that we should have built a supportive wall around the pool, under the patio. When we told him this was the first we're hearing of this, that he never mentioned it before, he told us yes, he did, that we refused it to save some money. He said he would redo it for us this spring, but he would have to charge us $400 to do it. First off, when we had them come out initially, the bricks around the pool were not in place. They were all pulled back due to the pool being put in. We had dozens of extra bricks laying around that could have been used to make that support wall due to the retaining wall that was removed to make room for the pool. It would have literally cost us nothing additional to have that support wall built. He never mentioned it (I have the original estimate...states nothing about a support wall around the pool). Now he wants to scam $400 out of us, not to mention he STILL has not addressed the washing out of the sand and collapsing bricks (the support wall would not have stopped it). They have made mistake after mistake on my patio, and when asked to come out and fix it, he wants to charge us to fix the mistakes (that he has already been paid thousands to do, what we thought was correctly). Celtic does shoddy work, and they won't stand behind it. He was supposed to get back to us months ago......we've heard nothing. They don't return phone calls/emails. He took our thousands of dollars, and has left us with a crappy patio. We now have to have a real, reputable company come out and pay more money to have them fix what Celtic won't/can't. I'm furious. Celtic used to be a very good local company that we used several times before. But, since the new guy has bought them out, their work quality has dropped and they could care less. read more
