Went here during one of their goth market! Super cute but very small space for the vendors as they all huddle in on the sidewalk together but it was nice seeing all the stuff they offered. Inside the store was bigger than I thought it was be and they do offer quite a nice range of items for anyone in the dark arts, goth clothing, bones collecting or comics! Everything seem to be legit inside and the decor of the place is outstanding. A unique store that one have to visit to fully understand what they got to offer. One of my favorite local shops. I was not the biggest fan of taxidermy until I started visiting frequently and saw how cute they can be. I like to collect some of the old photos and butterflies when I see them. I love how often they have events and the variety of events they have. This is a really interesting store! They run events such as the Valoween market with multiple vendors selling unique items. They have comic books and gaming supplies, and the owner Chris is a really cool guy. About once a month, they run a dungeons and dragons game for which tickets can be purchased on the website. The owners are great to hang out with and they offer in-house classes for wet specimens, small taxidermy pieces, fabric arts projects, witchy stuff, and bone preservation. They also take orders for comic books and graphic novels and they offer tabletop RPG sessions and how-to-play classes (and it feels like this side of their shop is overlooked sometimes because the bone art is so cool). Interesting shop with random oddities and taxidermy on display. We attended during a special event, Heathen Season Fall-en Market, and loved exploring the work of artists and vendors set up in front of the store. My bf picked up a Ga$$ Money Magazine and got to chat with the artist about his amazing works, while I got an adorable and unique bunny creation. We also checked out the various books and novelty items for sale in the shop, as well as spiders. Cool spot, kinda weird and creepy too, it was worth checking out. read more

Went to this shop to watch my granddaughter's band play. This place isn't my cup of tea, but I gotta say, I did see some unique items. Odd, bizarre & some things just completely creepy, the store lived up to their sign outside that says "Welcome to the Creepshow" Books, comics, animal skulls & skeletons, jars of embalmed rodents & other small animals along with two live snakes. No matter where you look, you're gonna see something that might repulse you or make you say, "That's wonderful, I gotta have it!" Stop in & check it out, but keep an eye on your kids. We found this store randomly through a Google search and have not stopped talking about it since we came home from LV. i love this oddity shop so much. i was in LV earlier this year when i went to sick new world and this spot was a gem, i had to stop by. i can't wait to come back next year!! this shop has a HUGE variety of stuff i was on overload being in there. taxidermy , wet specimen, diaphonized specimen, pinned insects, bones, and so much other oddities and knick knacks. the shop also had a deal going on if you showed your SNW wristband you would get a discount on your purchase which i thought was so cool. everything was fairly priced as well, i ended up purchasing a wet specimen of a baby chick. staff was very friendly i want to say it was the owners who were in at the time that we were there, they were so nice! definitely check out cemetery pulp if you're in the area! read more

Cute shop with lots to look at. I was here for an event they held and while I felt it could have been better prepared, there were still some interesting pieces in the shop that caught my eye. I feel a lot of the art and wares are marked up wholesale pieces that you can buy elsewhere online for a fraction of the cost, but there are some taxidermy pieces scattered about and wet specimens. I'd love a sign that guaranteed the supplier of these specimens acquired them in a humane way, but I guess there's no real way to prove such. Still, there was no information on where the pieces are supplied from, and they are pricey to not include origins or descriptions of the animals. There were A TON of people piled into the store, which felt like it did not have air conditioning, and it felt like any minute something deceased was going to crash onto the ground, spilling formaldehyde or preservation liquid on people's ankles. I think the amount of bodies in the store should have been limited or controlled better, so hopefully that will be taken into account in the future! Both for the safety of non-human and human specimens. One of the vendors I bought a used dress from actually sold me a dress with broken buckles, but I'm positive that is of no fault of the store, just something to note. There was gatorade and water provided at the front, which was lovely of the event planners to include. The sideshow performer that was advertised really only walked around the store for a little while and then disappeared for the rest of the time. I'm not sure what happened there, but I thought he would have stronger presence at the event. Overall, it was a cute pop up event to go to. I think some polishing would make it an even greater turn out and memorable experience, and I hope the store continues to collect one of a kind pieces over stuff you can buy anywhere. Vegas could definitely use more shops like this, and I wish to see this one do well. read more

This place had been on our bucket list forever and we finally went. Sometimes the huge snakes roam free and that was my biggest fear but I was ready to conquer that fear. However when we went they were not out. I will have to conquer that fear another time lol. They let them out twice a week and warn people at the door just in case. It's a cool little shop if you like stuff like that (I do). All kinds of goodies. People come from out of state to come here. An absolute gem of a business in Las Vegas. Partner brought me here as a surprise for our anniversary, and I was quite literally shaking with joy (I have tics, so this store invoked some very happy emotions for me haha)!! Everything is organized and decorated so beautifully, rows of inventory displayed tastefully. We were even pleasantly surprised to find Killstar items in here as well!! My suitcase came home with me filled with bones and other goodies, will absolutely be coming back for some taxidermy pieces in the future!!! I love this place!! I always have the label of being "weird" and I'm the type of person to flaunt my weirdness. This place feels like home!! There's not many places like this and I come every once in a while to scout out what my next taxidermy piece will be. I legit drive across town to come here because again, there are not really any places like this place. Today I walked out with a taxidermy bat encased in a glass coffin. And since it's right around Christmas time we took some pictures with Krampus!! One day I will be doing their taxidermy class that they have as I genuinely want to learn how to taxidermy and do it on my own as a hobby. Quick update: I took the wet specimen class with Erin last night and it was so, so fun! There was an assortment of reptiles and amphibians to choose from. Due to the size of the container I ended up choosing a beautiful baby snake that I thought would look just darling, and I was right. Erin was a phenomenal instructor and the sweetest soul. She walked us through how to prepare the specimen, how to source materials and specimens to DIY in the future, as well as how to get a taxidermy license if we felt inclined. I'm so happy with how my little guy (or gal?) turned out! I can't wait to take more classes to expand my knowledge (: I also picked up a pair of bone earrings (forgot to ask the name of the animal these came from) but they're GORGEOUS and only $25!! You'd easily be paying $80 on Etsy for the same thing. read more

I'm a simple man. I love comic books, horror, and taxidermy. You know what kind of place has all three of those things wrapped into one? CEMETERY PULP! My girlfriend accidentally stumbled across this place and we came the first day we both had off together, which just so happened to be Easter Sunday. We showed up around 2PM or so and were greeted by some of the friendliest shop owners I've had the pleasure of meeting. From the second you walk in you are surrounded by cool trinkets, top notch level taxidermy, jewelry, books, oddities, jarred wet specimen, and even furniture, and on top of it being filled with cool stuff, it's one of the best decorated stores I've ever been inside of, for real. Once you look through the oddities and such, the entire left wall is filled with a bunch of new comics from DC, Marvel, Image, and bunch of others just waiting to be read, plus, they carry both single issues as well as trades. Since it was Easter, we were also told at checkout that Easter eggs were hidden around the store so of course i found one, and inside was some homemade tattoo cream and bracelet, which is pretty awesome if you ask me. Not sold yet? Not only is this a cool place to shop, but they also have live bands and teach classes. On this specific day, they were teaching a bone cleaning/taxidermy style class. How cool is that? Overall, Cemetery Pulp will absolutely be a place I visit when I'm doing stuff on the east side.
