I spoke with the owner, David, for at least 30 to 45 minutes, he attempted to assist me, experimented with disconnecting my phone and then re-connecting, but to no avail. He concluded that my car stereo was too old and would not connect with the newer iPhone. He seemed knowledgeable, tried his best to be helpful, but ultimately concluded that, due to the age of my car stereo, it would not pair with the new iPhone. We talked options, including a new radio, but he advised against this because of all the modifications which would need to be made in my car and because of the expense. We were able to establish a connection, but only when the phone is plugged in. I appreciated his honesty and integrity, his knowledge, and the fact that he didn't try to "oversell" me. It then took several more days to receive an invoice, which was incorrect and not itemized. On the scheduled install day, we were told the wrong parts had arrived, a surprise $250 charge was now due, and the distributor was at fault. Even the technician admitted there had been miscommunication and the wrong parts were ordered. What should have been a 1-2 hour job turned into a 4+ hour ordeal with no progress and no plan. We requested a refund since no work was performed. We were first offered a partial refund, then told it couldn't be issued. When we asked for clarification, the response turned unprofessional and dismissive. We filed complaints with the BBB, the Texas Attorney General, and submitted a claim with our bank. After reviewing the documentation, the bank ruled in our favor and issued a full refund. Reposting this review because it was previously removed -- likely flagged by the business -- while they posted a glowing update about similar services we were never provided. Bottom line: No service. No refund. No accountability. Connect the dots -- when a business removes honest reviews that says everything.

Nick initially refused, mentioning customers are never satisfied with them and neither are they. I paid for them to put it in after the warning, and I saw what they meant. It didn't work with steering wheel controls, sounded awful, etc. I hated it on day one of install and scheduled my next visit that day. ---------------- STINGER HEAD UNITS ---------------- TCAS only sells and installs what they put in their own vehicles, and I understand why. This Stinger head unit has my 2016 4Runner feeling more like a 2026. Everything works and integrates well, and the sound quality is incredible. ---------------- COST ---------------- $100/hr. Don't let this scare you. Whenever I stopped in for surprise visits over the days they had my 4Runner, there were almost always two or all three working on it at the same time. ---------------- WORK ETHIC ---------------- Find a chair in their shop. After…read moretaking my car up there three different times to get a back up camera and Bluetooth Apple radio added paying over 1,000 I get a radio under my dash they disconnected all of my features included my volume on the dash and steering wheel. Oh and the "Bluetooth" radio is a cord out of my glove box. I just spent the last 20 minutes crying because this isn't what I paid for and feel totally swindled out of my money. They were not very upfront with what I was getting and pure laziness for not wanting to change the dash with the controls. Hopefully I can take it somewhere else and get it fixed the way it was supposed to be (oh and spend more money) :( Called this morning and talked to the owner he said I got exactly what I wanted. Well sir if you had been upfront with me and told me my steering wheel features wouldn't work I would not have done this.
