Several days ago I walked in for the first time looking to fill some holes in my home bar inventory and immediately knew I would not find what I was looking for. But this was a small business with the owner behind the counter and I bought a bottle of liqueur just to support him. I didn't need this - it was a bottle of chocolate liqueur. The bottle was opaque so I couldn't see inside it. A few days later I opened the bottle only to discover the contents HAD COMPLETELY HARDENED! I turned the bottle upside down and nothing came out! How long had this bottle been on his shelf?! I took the bottle back to the store and did the same thing I did at home - turned it upside down to demonstrate for the owner. But this time a few chunky goops came out and splattered on his counter. I didn't mean for this to happen and quickly apologized. He didn't care, refused to refund my money ($33) and told me to get out. Again I apologized for the unexpected spill but it didn't matter to him. In my opinion this is the worst liquor store in Longmont and with so many other better ones in town you'd have to be desperate to walk in here. I never will again.

They are a nice place and have some of my favorite breweries, 450North and Weldwerks. They have some really solid beers and prices are pretty standard, if not a bit cheaper. The store is nice if not a tad bit run down. I wish they would give it a make over and brighten it up! Also, they have a huge board in the front of photos of shoplifters. I totally get the frustration but I don't really need to see it every time I go in lol. I usually just go to Safeway unless I'm craving some unique beer. They do have a customer loyalty program but honestly I've visited around a dozen times and haven't saved anything with it.

I like to pay a little more to keep smaller businesses open that are surrounded by corporate competitors. Sadly, the owner has lost his way with an " us versus customer" attitude. It's almost like he thinks being petty about a bag is more important than the bigger picture which is offering something his competitors cant. He also snacks behind the counter, which isnt a good look. His nephew Sunny is always dinking around on Tik Tok on his phone instead of being customer focused. If he had asked if I wanted a bag I wouldnt mind paying at all but instead he made it awkward like its my fault he has zero customer service skills. I didnt have anything but a card and he didnt ask before he put that the transaction thru. Its like they have a negative mentality somehow patrons are trying to beat them out of 10 cents

Yep, it's TARDIS for oenophiles. This shop stocks such rare treasures as boutique bandol wines not typically available in the States, along with highly curated and palate pleasing small production wines spanning the entire spectrum from haughty Cabernets to dry yet ebullient prosecco. There are Viognier, vernaccia, verdicchio and valpolicella...and that's just one letter of the wine alphabet. It's a whimsical tour de force of grapes and brews and bubbles and don't forget the accessories, too: wine bags, charms and packaged boxes perfect as host gifts.
