She did it online through their website. The appointment needed to be approved before you were confirmed for the appointment. The appointment was eventually confirmed. Oddly, my wife booked it for the 25th of Dec, but it was ultimately approved. When the day came for the appointment, we drove out (25 mins) to the salon and get there about 15 mins early. When it hit 10 am, we noticed no one arrived to open the salon. So she gave it 5 mins and made a call to the number provided in the email. To much the surprise of the person on the other line, she did not realize she had an appointment. But (much to even much surprise) she said she lived about 20 minutes away and was on her way. So we decided to wait it out. - 5 Stars - First, the fact that this individual came in (regardless of the mixup) was enough to earn 5 stars. She definitely is a specialist in hair health and took care of my wife. I went to grab a bite to eat but (after taking a look at my wife's scalp) told her she was going to need about an hour and a half to get her back on point. And that she did. It was a long appointment and my wife (and I) were more than impressed by the results. My wife also spoke to me about their time talking to each other. It must have been a good discussion because my wife was vibrant and full of life afterward telling me about all the stuff they talked about. All in all, how can you complain about an appointment mixup when someone is willing to come in and open up just for you, on Christmas no less? Just an impressive display of commitment to the customer by the owner Miny. Note (to other customers): looking at the reviews, it doesn't seem like this place is a salon for hairstyling as much as they are experts in hair care. I could be wrong but that would be my inference. Thank you.

But she talked with me, addressed my hair concerns, and leaves me feeling beautiful whenever I leave. I usually just get a wash and press, and I only come once a month or so, but I appreciate Miny's honesty and how she takes cares of my hair and makes it look great when it's done. The towel that they supplied to clean up didn't really seem to help much. We took off for vacation the next day, and all I could think about was how painful my bikini area was. Later that night, I was appalled at how red and broken my skin was. It took about 3 days just for my skin to calm down, and then I noticed that she had missed a bunch of spots which was a bummer on vacation. I don't have sensitive skin, and have never had such red and irritated results. During a leave of absence , I saw a different hairstylist (a level 2) stylist for a cut, and balayage. During the consult, the stylist seemed confident about being able to help me achieve what I wanted. Which was more than reasonable and should've been able to be achieved because frankly it was just like a caramel balayage, nothing crazy. I did not feel that my layers were adequately trimmed. They were not even and my hair felt rough ... my hair looked healthier before the haircut. The balayage technique was not actually even applied. The stylist performed a partial. I went in with level five hair and still came out with level five hair after being in foils for a couple of hours which never happens. I'm always able to get great results with lightning my hair. I left feeling extremely disappointed. When my husband came home, he automatically just said " oh, did you cancel your hair appointment? I thought you were going to the salon today?!" And I had to explain that I did, but he said it looks like nothing had been done. I did reach out a week later, a master stylist reached out to me to fix my hair. Ultimately in the end, I know that the stylist did all they could with what they had to work with to make it look decent. The "fix" was just as disappointing. I have literally spent my entire summer trying to get my hair to heal from this experience. And between the cut and color I spent a lot of my hard earned money to not enjoy the results or frankly the experience. This all happened a couple months ago back in June. I wasn't sure about writing a review, but after taking some time to think, I thought it would be best to let everyone know. Also, I'm not sure if they started using different hair color, but their toner washed out really quickly. Like after one wash. I've always enjoyed most of the stylists here, but if you're gonna spend the money here, really do your research on reviews and book accordingly.- I highly recommend Crystal! She's the best!
