I like to call for a hair cut appointment (I have always managed to get same day appts). The hair stylists are all very friendly, talented & consistent! They actually listen to what you're looking for and tend to always do a great job! You can tell they take their time (while trying to be efficient) and are very thorough. Pricing is very affordable -- a hair cut with shampoo (hair dried and styled) with a conditioning treatment for long hair is less than $95. This is a fabulous go to spot for me! read more

I asked for a trim which says $35. I said no extras. She dried my already dry hair for about 12 seconds and charged me double. Dishonest business. Unbelievable - $60 for a 7 minute trim on straight hair is a rip off. Go to great clips. Same service, 1/3 of the cost, honest and fair employees. read more

The person cutting my hair was skilled and the haircut I got wasn't bad, but it very clearly was not what I asked for. I wanted a long trim with parted bangs and a longer back, and I even showed multiple inspiration pictures and indicated where I wanted my bangs to be cut. Even before starting to perm, the stylist began chopping my hair shorter than I wanted it, and it only got even shorter after the perm. She justified giving me an undercut by saying she was unable to perm some parts because they were too short which, mind you, she cut in the first place. After 3.5 hours I left very upset with a haircut that was way shorter than I was comfortable with. The only reason I hesitate to give one star is because the employees were professional and seemed apologetic at the end. read more

This is an awesome place to get a haircut you want, filled with amazingly careful and talented stylists, that also really do care about customer experience and your hair preferences, and can somehow juggle both flawlessly for a walk-in like me in the middle of a Friday afternoon. It was an amazing experience. My stylist (i'm bad at catching names, but her name starts with an "An-n..."? I'm sorry, i'll edit this later) was rad. I showed her pics of what i wanted, and she pretty much matched exactly what i was going for. I even made a request to match a complicated nuanced shaved curved line in the example photo for what i wanted, and she without hesitation said "sure" and just nailed it in record time. I went In for a wash, haircut and blow-dry. They were busy but I had an appointment. My appointment was at 1:30 and they got me in at 1:37 so never had to wait long. The hairdresser was nice and made small conversation. She gave a great head massage and shoulder massage along with the wash. Very relaxing. My total came up to $45. Let me start off by saying I went to my usual salon in Bellevue and my stylist was no longer there, so I had someone else, I was getting an all over color, he wanted to charge me $310! I was like ummm no, I received a cut and left. (I won't be going back) we use to live by Hair Clips and my family and I always use to come here. So after having a bad experience, I decided to walk in to Hair Clips and they helped me within 15 min. I wanted to do something drastic and they were patient with me and very accommodating. Haircut excellent! After the haircut it doesn't grow out of shape either! Hair coloring (for men) was good too. Could be a tad better on the sides but everything else is fine and no issues after the coloring so. I will definitely be coming here again! In fact I might just become a regular! I had long hair that went past my shoulders and I wanted to switch it up and get shorter hair, more of a masculine cut since I like looking androgynous. The stylist was very friendly and sweet and made you feel like your needs were being met very nicely, and the first cut I got looked great but I just hated how I felt in it and wanted something different. I tipped her well, and then I came back and told my stylist that I wanted to fix my hair to make me feel better in it. She helped cut my hair again for around 20 minutes and I now love the result! This place has really nice workers, and as long as you advocate for what you want in your haircut you will look really nice! They were very nice about me wanting to change what I had since I didn't like what I first got when I walked out. Will go again! My husband and I came in as walk ins and despite them being in the middle of working on clients, they greeted us and were really friendly. The wait wasn't so bad even if the shop was busy, because they work efficiently and are very attentive and personable. I came in just wanting a cut. However, she asked questions about if I wanted layers and really worked to give me something complete and a cut that suits what I had in mind. I got my hair washed and straightened/styled for not much more. They worked with my husband with the same friendliness and great work! Our cuts look great and despite us being last minute walk ins, our experience was wonderful and we'll probably be back for our next cuts. The ladies here are sweet and great at what they do. I went across the street to the 44th street salon on a whim. Got the worst haircut of my life. Left very upset. Went across the street and walked in and said, "can you fix this??" Sat down, Kim one of the owners fixed it. Charged me 9.99. I left a 100 dollar tip and have been back every two weeks since. They give a great shampoo, they are very personal and nice. I like that the stylists are also the owners. Trust this head to them only! I take my two kids there now as well. read more

I have had my hair done with Joyce and the other Vietnamese lady today. I went in since 11:40 and get my hair done around 6:30. Even though it was a long time but it's really worth it. My original hair color was Asian natural black-brown hair and had no layer at all which is hard to make it to this color. I just went in and show them picture if what I want and they make my hair just like what I expected! The price is also reasonable or even lower than other places in Bellevue-Renton areas I have been to since I bleach my hair, do hair color, cut, and curl. Highly Recommended!!! read more
