Always great service! Dr. Stevens takes the time and checks known trouble spots (I may have a few...) as well as checking for new ones. The only real issue is the parking. As a business owner my time is valuable. My recommendation is to time your appointments so that you get there early morning or right before the end of lunchtime so that you beat the rush for a parking spot. Had no problem setting up an appointment. When I arrived, my waiting time was minimal. Dr. Stevens and the staff were great.

I saw Dr. Stevens to have a mole removed and a spot biopsied. He was very attentive and caring. My Biopsy came back as BCC and I was scheduled for a Mohs procedure with Dr. Rosenbaum. The assistants Diana and Monica were also outstanding and my Mohs procedure went flawlessly. I highly highly recommend this office. read more

first of all the wait is usually 30 minutes long and they take people who come in after you do. The receptionists were very kind and that experience was good. However, I saw a PA F. Blunt. she seemed intelligent however her bedside manner was lacking. I wanted her to listen to all my symptoms and even told her assistant about something that was going on with the top of my foot and it was never dicussed because she seemed in a hurry. She decided what she wanted the plan to be without hearing me out. She was in a hurry, I felt it ! No taking the time to see me as a person who is suffering. Then they numb me for a biopsy and leave me there for almost 30 minutes while they finish up with another patient. I felt jammed in to an appointment and not heard. I have since found a Doctor Who is taking the time to listen to me and we are getting answers because they did. PA blunt just gave me the anabiotic that everyone gives most patients who have what she thought I had. It wasn't working and I told her and I even asked for her to call me back and she never did. I wouldn't recommend going there if you want someone who really cares about what you're going through. If you don't mind being a number then youll be fine. read more

The office staff was pleasant. However, when F Bkunt came in to see me, she was not pleasant, seemed like she was in a hurry and gave me quick answers with no solutions to help. She was out in 5 mins and I left feeling very disappointed. I payed the copay listed on my insurance card and for some reason, I now owe more. Not sure what happened with the insurance company or if it was the way the office billed. I have been trying to pay it online and it kept coming back it wasn't the correct account number when I was putting in what was listed on the statement. I tried paying by phone and it's all automated and it is having issues as well. This office is terrible! I was excited to find a cosmetic dermatologist close to home and I'd never recommend them. They will receive my payment by snail mail now. read more

I have never been more disappointed in a hospital in my entire life. No matter how many times I said I had a referral to their facility because I needed my wart surgically removed due to lack of response to medical management, I kept getting scheduled with PAs, and had to reschedule. There is no communication between staff, and they told me they made calls back to me when they never did, so I feel entirely blindsided. I have had my time wasted while I'm trying to get a wart removed before I graduate vet school. Get your stuff together so no other patients have to suffer as I did. read more

If you know me and read my reviews you know I give credit where it's due and call out businesses that fall flat. The latter are rare in my world. This is the rare exception. I will not recommend this establishment. There are other dermatological practices here that are run professionally and treat their patients with the respect we're due. My first time here with PA Fiona Blunt was unremarkable. And I mean that literally: she was professional, but that's about it. I decided to give the practice another chance and made an appointment with her again. This office will HOUND YOU by email and text to complete a lengthy electronic check-in which is ridiculous. All you're doing is confirming info they already have on file. As I went through it I got frustrated and didn't complete it. So then I was hounded YET AGAIN via texts and emails "Karen, you haven't completed your check in." Whatever. I went in and completed their ludicrous electronic document. I left my home at 3:10 to arrive early for my 3:40 pm appt. I arrived early at 3:30 pm. And then waited. And waited. People who came in after me went and returned from their appointments. Finally, after 20 minutes past my appointment time (30 mins since I was early), I approached the reception desk to inquire about the wait. "Oh, Fiona is usually behind." Really? If you knew she was behind when I arrived, Couldn't you show me the professional and common courtesy to let me know in advance that she was more than 30 minutes behind so I could decide if my schedule could allow for such a delay? Then, and here's what really gets me and is why I left, fuming (madder than I've been in a LONG TIME). The receptionist asks me, "Did you have someplace you need to be?" Yes. Yes, I'm actually an employed adult and MY TIME IS VALUABLE TOO. Yes, I've already wasted over an hour and gave nothing to show for the time. Yes, there were many more productive things I could've been doing with this time. How dare you. I get it when dr.'s run a bit over, but at least show people the common courtesy to inform me so I can decide whether I want to wait or not. This practice needs to get their scheduling together. It's likely not the dr.'s nor the PA's fault - it's the schedulers who are cramming more people into a day than the drs can handle. Do yourself a favor: skip this practice. read more

I went to the Center for Dermatology and Plastic Surgery for an annual checkup. Dr. Ryan Stevens and myself talked about a couple of moles that I had and he asked me if I wanted him to zap them with liquid nitrogen. I said, sure, and he zapped a couple of spots (which took about 2 minutes). The Dr. did not tell me that this would change my visit from a checkup to a procedure and that I would have a charge. Months later, I received a bill, so I called and explained the situation. The billing person said that she would get with the Dr, and either have the fee waived, or greatly reduced. I received another bill today, for the same visit for $188. I called again and was basically told, "Too bad". I paid the charge and informed the billing person that I would never go back to this facility. The Dr. should have explained that there may be a charge if he zapped my moles. To put things in perspective - I bought a can of liquid nitrogen off of Amazon to zap a couple of moles off my dog, and it cost me $30 for a can that can be used about 50 times. read more

Scheduled an appointment with them for 9:50 and was not seen until 10:55 while waiting around. Then when I was seen for my issue they scheduled an appointment for that Friday at 9:10. The day before at 3 PM I get a call saying they couldn't see me and needed to reschedule because the doctor I was scheduled to see could not do the operation. Was not given times/dates to choose from on that call because they needed a different receptionist to call and schedule the appointment. Honestly a mistake here and there is acceptable, but when I'm paying to see a professional I expect a certain level of professionalism to be shown. So far the experience has been frustrating and not ideal when having to work around a work schedule to be seen. Would recommend trying other offices than this one. Update: when I was called I was given dates to choose from that were two weeks past the original time frame given. read more

I have a scheduled appointment for tomorrow for a consult that appointment is now going to be canceled because of the lack of knowledge of your office staff in the Glendale location. The staff even hung up on me because they are trying to verify my insurance by my maiden name and not my married name never have I've been hung up on. Then I call back to speak to the office manager in which I did and she said she would've hung up on me as well. You do not hang up on patients or customers . That is so rude. It wasn't my fault that they had the wrong information. When I made this appointment. The lady that scheduled my appointment knew exactly my ID number and everything and my last name. So I have no idea how they had my maiden name but again that wasn't my problem five dollars or no five dollars I'm not coming to your office. I will continue to look for somebody that takes my insurance. You have the worst office staff I've ever encountered. To top it all off they waited till the day before, my appointment for all the confusion which didn't even need to happen. I didn't even need them to call if they would've had the right information to begin with that wasn't my fault that was theirs !!! Was sent here by my Family Doctor so was a first visit but It won't be my last as I had a great experience with Dr. Fiona with my eczema. She diagnosed it and subscribed the right cream to clear it up. My mom had the same problem on one of her feet in California and my sister had been trying to clear it up for months but with no progress. Ive been coming here for awhile. I really like Fiona who does the checkups. Last time I had a monks treatment with dr Rosenberg it was a terrible experience especially with her helpers. They were rude snd hurt me. So today I had another appointment with Fiona. The waiting room is packed with over 16 people. It's s big room snd while people are supposed to be 6 ft apart, this editing room had only one seat between people. It's careless and shows they are putting profit before the safety of their patients. Today Fiona was an hour late for a 9:20 appointment. How do you get that far behind so soon. So while I was out in my car waiting I made an appointment at another clinic. I'm done. And hope this clinic fixes themselves. read more

Front desk was really nice and they scheduled me quickly when I described my concerns. I got checked into my appointment fast upon arrival which was nice, no waiting around. The MA and PA I saw, Sam and Fiona were awesome. They covered all of my concerned, and they collected all info and asked many questions before coming to a conclusion on treatment. I went to Center for dermatology & plastic surgery on February 9th 2023 for a consultation to treat my acne scars and was charged $75. The doctor gave me a treatment proposal for two options (C02 laser and micro-needling). The doctor said that the laser treatment would provide the best results so I called the office on February 10th to schedule the procedure. I was given an appointment for February 16th at 1:45 and confirmed the appointment was with the Scottsdale office. Me and my wife totally arranged our work schedules and plans around the appointment because there is some down time after the procedure. I received a call at 9:21 on February 16th (4 hours and 24 minutes before my scheduled appointment) stating the laser treatment was not done at the Scottsdale office, was only scheduled for 15 minutes when the appointment needed to be much longer than than, and a bunch of other excuses as to why they couldn't provide the service they scheduled for me today. Their incompetence in scheduling procedures has resulted in a great deal of inconvenience and frustration for me and my wife. We have a lot going on in our lives and purposely scheduled this procedure today so I would have a week to recover before returning to work. Now we are stuck trying to find a new office and go through the entire process again all because of the incompetence of this office. read more

I wish I would have read these reviews before coming to this office. I was a first time patient with this dermatologist... at my first appointment, the doctor spent about 5 minutes with me tops... nothing was found... I asked if I could be checked every 6 months... he said yes... a few days before the next appointment I received a reminder... again the day before... nothing the day of... I was going to be late for my appointment due to a meeting that ran over... I called... they couldn't see me and told me I would be charged $50... I asked if the charge could be waved... they left me a voicemail the fee would not be waived... then I spoke with someone at the office who had to ask their manager... they agreed to wave this one time but any further cancellations would need to be 24 hours in advance... all in all, this was a lousy first impression all the way around... This is not the experience I expect from my care provider. Thankfully, I have some AMAZING doctors... I'm afraid this office didn't even come close to the standards I'm accustomed to. read more

Jennifer, the front office staff, was so incredibly rude...I was told we had to wait in the waiting room even though there's a pandemic and no other medical facility on earth is requiring patients to just wait in the front.I don't understand why I couldn't wait in my car and they call when they were ready!?! Oh, and they were running 30 minutes behind. Which was very helpful to see that they do NOT sanitize the waiting room. Since we waited so long.... I was referred to the Center for Dermatology by a friend who is not a doctor. They have a cumbersome website that you can make an appointment through; which I did. I should have known this was a business driven enterprise when I received an appointment confirmation that I had an appointment with a Physician's Assistant and not the doctor. This Red Flag should have been enough. I then foolishly took the time to fill out all of the forms on line; which was both cumbersome and tedious - Second Red Flag. On the day of the appointment, I had a telephone call run long related to 1 of my business matters, I called the 480.905.8485 and I was greeted by the type of telephone tree that only the most impersonal of businesses can create - Third Red Flag. When I finally spoke to a live person, I explained that I was running late, but I was only way. The lady told me not a problem. I asked her for general directions and I received an impatient and annoyed response, without directions, but rather simply the address - Fourth Red Flag. When I arrived I confessed to being late and explained that I had called and I difficulty finding the correct building in the complex ( trust me the 1st time you try t go to this place - you will too). There were 4 or 5 women sitting behind the desk, as I recall on 1 even had access to a computer so I could not tell you what they were doing. I felt an air of hostility - generally saying - "It's time for us to go home and we do not want to wait for you." After all it was 4:00 pm - Fifth Red Flag. I was told I would have to wait for someone to ask the Physician's Assistant to see if she would try to see me today. 10 to 15 minutes later I was told the Physician's Assistant did not have time for me today. I was then asked "Do you want to reschedule?" with a hint that I would not, if I were you - Sixth Red Flag. Afterwards I called my friend who made the referral and I told him my tale of woe. He then told me that he would not go back to the Center for Dermatology because of past billing mistakes related to their website and the Center for Dermatology constant spam - Seventh Red Flag. I finally got the message and I said no thank you, I would too if I were you. I have never written a negative review about anything in the past. read more

I have been going to this practice for the last two years. I really like the staff and clinicians. I moved to CDPS after a bad experience with another valley dermatology group that all they wanted to do was cut and remove spots that I later were determined were not cancerous. CDPS is thoughtful and thorough in their analysis and monitors spots before doing the cutting that the previous practice did as a regular course of treatment. I loved Dr. Jefferies who has now left the practice. My first visit with Fione Blunt was excellent. I look forward to continuing to go to this practice for my annual check-ups. read more

I had my first visit this week and am very PLEASED with my experience from setting the appointment through the exam, consultation and recommendations. I was referred by my Primary care physician because of an unusual change in a birth mark on my left arm that is just above the wrist. I also had some additional concerns: radiation therapy I had for acne as a teen, some small red dots that occur in several places in my skin, and, a nodule that had formed on my scalp and recently started to change in size and shape. The staff was courteous, punctual, friendly, and well informed. I was provided complete information regarding each of my issues. The nodule was removed for biopsy. read more

Wasted my time, it seems that all Dermatologist offices are just trying to get your money. I thought this place was fool proof, if i listed and asked for exactly what i wanted how could it go awry? After multiple phone calls, descriptions, and emails on exactly what i needed how could they not know what i was specially coming in for? They did not touch the subject until i blatantly asked them to address my issue at hand. Oh but they don't perform that at this office you'll have to go to another one, but we'll charge you for this appointment and charge a deposit for making you an appointment at the other location. ? No thanks, i'll save my money and be painfully specific and probably Karen-like at the next place i try. Their Office is new, and they are probably good enough for your basic needs but nothing is special about this Dermatologist. My Wife has been using this office for over a year and this was my first time. We came in together recently to get our yearly checkup. Our Doctor was awesome and found something that was a little abnormal so they removed it on the same visit and sent it in for testing, results took a little longer to come back then I would like(maybe 10 days which they told us it would be) as everyone freaks out a little bit whenever there is a chance of getting a result "you have abnormal cells or cancer". Luckily for my wife it was caught so early(pre-cancerous) that they have scheduled time to come in to remove a little more skin to make sure its all removed. Can't express enough how much we appreciate the Doctor finding what she did and getting it taken care of! Everyone from the front desk was super helpful and really nice Highly recommend this place. Only thing I would recommend to the office is when we filled out our paperwork there was a section for wanting more information about various things and I marked down the areas I would like more information about but I never got anything mentioned at the appointment or any pamphlets. It's been a few weeks and still haven't heard anything. Minor thing to forget especially when we had more pressing issues during the appointment. read more

I have been trying to get my medication here for the past two months. For the first month, Lindsay ignored my calls and voicemails and documented that she tried multiple times to try and get ahold of me. Not true. Another employee here documented the same with no missed call on my end. I have been told multiple times they've done everything "on their side" and we are just waiting for pharmacy. When I called the pharmacy, they said they still have not received the information they needed from this place. They lie and they're lazy here. I am miserable off my eczema medication and still have not received it. I even walked into the office after work to speak to Lindsay in person since she never called me back. If you have chronic medication needs, do not come to this place. It's so awful. And now I have to start all over at another place since it looks like I'm never getting my med. I came in with a skin concern, and the doctor didnt take much time to check it out. She chucked it up to being one thing and told me here is a prescription fill it use it if you want to. It may or may not get better, it may get worse it may help....come to find out the medication is not a generic medication, and something special most insurances wont cover. it costs 400$ out of pocket. I asked them to find an alternative since i cannot pay that, and was told either get something over the counter or well give you another one that isnt covered by insurance but would be somewhere around 75$. When you dont make a whole lot, even 75$ is a lot for something that has no guarantee to work....Now i have nothing that will help my issue and im back to square one. Dont come here find a private office that has a doctor that is there to help you not just make money off of you! read more

i had an appointment for 9 am today, I had taken a couple of hours off of work for this appt. I went a few minutes early in case there was paperwork to be done, I had made this appt last time I was there about a year ago. there was no one at the office at 18699 n. 67th ave. 220. I called thier number 480-905-8485 and was told that the office is closed on wednesdays. I asked why I wasn't advised of this and the girl told me I should of called to confirm my appt. she then offered to give me appts at other offices. am I now supposed to take the entire day off from work because they decided to close. why didn't they look at their appts to see if any one was scheduled. very poor way to run a practice. I wonder why they don't have enough patients to stay open on wednedays. I will find somewhere else. thank you for wasting my time!!!!! read more
