But, today was the all-time best. My therapist, Ashlyn, was simply incredible. A real natural with a great "feel" for her craft. I have received hundreds of massages over the years, but this was one of the very best of all of them. When I checked out to pay, I was met by Heather, who was was extremely professional, personable, and efficient, and booked me next week for my next massage with Ashlyn. These two individuals, Ashlyn and Heather, and Milan massage institute in general are all highly recommended! You simply can't go wrong here!

I've had my hair cut, colored, high lighted, manicures, pedicures, full sets and skin care appointments, and the students have consistently done a wonderful job. My services have always been enjoyable, which is why it's disappointing to write this review. My concern isn't with the students it's with how the advertised senior discount is now being applied. The Milan Institute advertises a 20% Senior/Military Discount on hair, nail, and skincare services. For all of my previous visits, the discount was applied in a way that matched my understanding of the advertisement. However, during my last appointment, I was told the discount only applies to one service on my ticket instead of all eligible services received during the same visit. As a senior on a fixed income, that made a significant difference. My appointments that were typically around $110 increased to more than $160 because of how the discount was calculated. Palm Desert and surrounding areas have a large senior population, and many retirees choose Milan Institute because they believe they're receiving a meaningful senior discount. If the discount is intended to apply only to the highest-priced service on your ticket or only one service per visit, I believe that limitation should be clearly disclosed in the website advertisement so customers know exactly what to expect before booking multiple services. I'm giving two stars because the students continue to provide excellent work, but I want other seniors to be aware that the advertised discount may not be be applied the way they might reasonably expect. I truly hope Milan Institute clarifies its senior discount policy so customers can make informed decisions.

Sadly due to Liability issues they were not able to give me a cut or the scalp treatment because I do have psoriasis on my scalp and pre what the instructor said it looked dry and red, but no open wounds. So if you have psoriasis on your scalp I would suggest looking elsewhere, but other than that everyone was lovely at the establishment and they were willing to be as helpful as they could be given the situation.

This school has led others be the bright student they really are. If you really put your mind into it you will succeed by how will you do that if you have 1 hour worth of school work with each subject, that's 7-8 hours of school work at home, 8 hours of school, 8 hours of sleep, and then what about personal things. There are only 24 hours in a day. This school allows you to succeed in your daily life without having stress that can last a life time. Now let me tell you it's not for everyone It really isn't. You have to give it a chance. And for the ones saying kids are failing it really isn't the school fault because teachers are available in any way there is no excuse. Now let me ask you this are you willing to put your child in a life time trauma or are you willing to let a school have your student thrive in what they love to do, because it all matters in what your student really wants.
