I personally was very skeptical about therapy, especially after being unsuccessful in finding a therapist that was for me. We got so lucky, Kin being the first couples therapist we tried. His style of therapy was everything we needed. He never made the sessions feel one-sided. He always made sure to acknowledge both of our feelings but allowed us to understand each other. He gave us the tools to be successful in this relationship. We initially were seeing him every 2 weeks, then turned to 3, and 8 months later, we are finally in a place where we only need to schedule sessions as needed. We love how honest Kin has been throughout our journey. He held us accountable while not making us feel bad. I highly suggest Kin if you are seeking couples therapy :)

To me, Kin is both a therapist and a coach. He has such finesse that his feedback seems very genuine and supportive, and it makes me motivated to want to change. Another expectation you can have with Kin is he'll keep you honest and accountable, again, just like an athletic coach! He keeps it real and simple. For example, he doesn't just tell you to be more patient with your kids or be a better listener to your partner. Instead, he breaks it down for you so you know exactly what your blind spots are and what you need to do to achieve your goals. He keeps things concrete and practical so you won't get lost in the abstract. If you need a therapist, especially regarding your relationship, Kin is definitely the right person.

And to my surprise they ended services because of a" legal matter" that they could've just told me at the beginning they mentioned it wasn't a problem at the beginning and all of a sudden they ended it because their manager told them. They could have just started with that from the beginning and I can go find somewhere else to go. If I would've seen the reviews beforehand, I would've looked into other places first and not wasted my time and energy. Also we would agree on a time and day and they would always try to meet sooner or would say that she has times in person available, which was not compatible with what I needed. From the beginning, it just felt like Jessica didn't feel like we needed the services and found a good excuse to remove us from therapy. Luckily, there are other places that are willing to help families and this is not the place. These therapist are just looking for a paycheck and not looking to help people.

Paul seems unprepared to work with the sort of character adaptations one might expect to see in people with significant trauma histories. For example, I feel a lot of shame when expressing a need and I work very hard to please others. That manifests in most areas of my life and also in my relationship with mental health providers. I'm not sure if Paul ever noticed how hard I was trying to "be a good client" even when I wasn't deriving much benefit from what he was offering me. He may be forgiven for not noticing a behavioral pattern that I never verbalized. I am disappointed that he didn't know how to work with the shame that I did verbalize. He offered me a mindfulness app, breathing exercises, visualization exercises, some boundary exercise involving a rope, and several worksheets. None of that ever helped me engage with Paul more meaningfully. If anything, it prevented me from engaging. Why risk the shame associated with vulnerability when I could be spending a whole session doing activities that involve minimal self-disclosure? It's almost like he was colluding with my avoidance. Maybe Paul is an effective therapist for some. He certainly tries.

She explains the procedure and gently guides you thru it easily, I always felt I was in great hands. I feel my mind is clearer, and I have the ability to have more silence inside my head. The monkey that used to keep chattering is now a lot quieter. I can witness more around me than I could have ever done before. Its been a little over nine months now and I can still feel the benefits.

This business is one of the BEST investments I have ever made in my entire life. I have spent…read morethousands of dollars on coaching and mind products and most of the had marginal results. Making an educated guess, I would say that it is because everyone was always using conscious level approaches to attempt to fix subconscious problems in which is highly ineffective. I am a mind practioner myself and so I can unlimited access to my own tools however, I also enjoy expereincing other modalities (tired of hearing my own voice.... I guess) and I was referred by a client who was cured of Sleep Apnea. This is a notoriously difficult area to treat and I have moderatley successful results in this area myself, but I recognize that any modality that can treat this is definitely worth checking out. So after filling out a questionnaire, I showed up and l learned about the process. In Ann Vogel's practice she uses sound technology and I got to read, rest, and sometimes conversate while my mind was being painlessly mapped and sounds and waves were transmitted through headphones. Here are the results: Day 1: I discovered I procrastinate and I was conscious of the process and I essentially was able to be 70% more efficient from a lack of this procrastination. My drive increased and I was able to stick to my tasks at hand. Day 2: I was less bothered by stupid situations and annoying people, and for some reason my hearing increased and I was able to hear audible sounds that I normally would have ignored. I was also slightly more motivated than usual and was more optomistic. Day 3: I was more focused and had more drive to accomlish more in the day and I was procrastinating even less! My distracting thoughts began to subside by 1/3 and I was worried before about money....same problems with an emotional disattachment. Your thoughts are so much clearer!! Day 4: More drive, and focus, and my creativity seemed to increase significantly. My worries about money and women seemed to decrease a bit more than the day before. Day 5: My multitasking efficiency skills have increased significantly and I was able to accomplish about 5 more tasks than I had before. I also have been able to meditate for 10 minutes in which before it was hard to meditate for 2 minutes. My consistency is increasing. Day 6: I became less shy and more open minded. I purchased 2 tickets for an event in which I don't think I would have been brave enough to go to. Let's just say the event is local to the Bay Area and its like a masquarade event with an adult twist. Still working hard, progressing and becoming more organized, and determined to finish my tasks while planning other tasks to accomplish. Day 7: Very unique day. I was unusually more compassionate than I usually am. I spoke with a homeless male and even bought him a coffee and bagel. He lost everything from alcoholism and was even in an AA program. I was able to give him advice. Normally I would have gave him $5 and moved to another table. I was able to give him advice, be calm, and still work on my graduate school homework and emails. This techonolgy apparently is also an assist to being well rounded. Day 8: More patient. I am NOT a patient person and the idea of patience makes me impatient. Still driven, organized, good at multitasking...just enjoying the perks. Day 9: Bad day because my phone went out and lost all my pictures and contacts. However, I was not bothered so much and my persistence increased significantly. I was focused and calm about what I needed to do although I was a slight bit annoyed about the phone thing- who wouldn't be? Day 10: Got a new phone. Happier, blessed, focused, determined, feeling like I have a secret weapon in which gives me the unfair advantage and about to mix this with the benefits of Hypnotherapy. Worth the cost. Also as an fyi Ann is like a pocket genius and marketing guru. She gave me 3 ideas in which when I apply will probably make me $3,000.00. WOW! Okay so that's the experience. I sure wish I found this before the others. I hope one day they create something in their technology to enhance your natural skills and abilities. I doubt they are too far from that. This stuff rocks! : )
