I found Maurine about 6 months ago. At the time I was going through a really hard time. I recently got divorced, son left for college and I started taking care of my sick father oh and then the pandemic! I had reached a wall and my anxiety was skyrocketing. I didn't have to think twice about giving Maurine 5 stars. She exceeded my expectations. I went in because I was diagnosed with anxiety, depression, and C-PTSD. She asked me a few non-invasive questions before doing a heart breath meditation. I felt very calm after that. Then she focused on my low self-esteem using guided imagery. Meeting Maurine was a pure act of divine intervention. She's one of those people you feel you've known forever. Her "office" is a magical meeting place for spiritual healers. I have been a smoker for over 60 years and it was a helping friend in difficult times, but I don't need it anymore. It's causing havoc, besides being expensive and always with me needing to hide behind a bush now in order to light up! I met Maurine, via the internet, as she and i are both members of the California Writer's Club and she was doing some editing of some of my work. So we visited and got to know each other, but never meeting face to face. In one of our Internet chats, I mentioned that I wanted desperately to quit smoking and if I could do this it would be the hardest thing ever! I was first introduced to Maurine through a friend of mine after she heard that western medicine just wasn't really cutting it for a devastating back injury that I had. She thought that guided imagery might be able to help with the pain and depression that I had been dealing with.
