Unfortunately, the visit was disappointing from the moment we arrived. The storefront looked boarded up with wood covering much of the exterior, and it was so dark inside that I honestly couldn't tell if the store was open. Once inside, my girlfriend's son politely asked the employee behind the counter how much a pack cost. The employee responded with, "I can guarantee it's more than you have in your wallet." I was shocked by how rude and dismissive that was, especially toward a kid. That's not the kind of welcome I would expect from an employee. I then told him I wanted to purchase three Prismatic Evolutions packs. He looked at me and said, with an attitude, "You know they're like $20 each, right?" I told him that was fine, but the interaction left a bad impression. What should have been a fun and memorable experience for the kids turned into an uncomfortable one because of the poor customer service. I spent $100 on 6 packs of cards and i was going to buy more cards but didn't want to give them anymore business. I won't be shopping here again and cannot recommend this store based on my experience.

Worse, someone was having a loud, aggressive conversation with that same employee about "knocking someone's teeth in"--completely inappropriate for a store environment. The fact that it was tolerated made the space feel uncomfortable and unwelcoming. This place has potential, but the staff needs serious customer service training if they want to create a more inviting atmosphere, especially for newcomers.
