This antique store is very pretty-- prettier than usual for such a place. I did find a few things to purchase, and I waited quite a while at the register while two employees helped one customer checking out. Not sure if a cashier was being trained or not but neither of them acknowledged me. A third customer approached and a cashier noticed her right away but the gracious customer advised that I was waiting before her, which I appreciated. At that point I knew I wasn't invisible. Had fun shopping but didn't care for the customer service. read more

Super cute place. Now if you're looking for old furniture this your place. We had swing by cause we saw them after going Attilia's Antique down the street. We were instantly greeted when we walked in by the lovely ladies there. I love that each area is well put together. Lots to look at, so if you love furniture like me, give yourself a little time to walk through everything to look through everything. There's a little home decor there. read more

My family spent over $600 over Thanksgiving and we were returning customers from the year before. Unfortunately, we will NOT be back next year. A very rude woman worked the register while calling herself the manager was very confrontational. Vendors should know she represents them. Went in to take a look after shopping at the Antique Emporium across the street. I entered Center Street Antiques, and the workers saw me walk with my paper bag and did not say anything, yet I was being followed the whole entire visit in the store. After twenty minutes, they told me to leave my bag in the front and I decided to leave the store instead because that is something they should have asked for when I entered the store, they continued to follow me to the front. I asked them if they thought I was stealing and the woman told me she had an odd feeling about my visit, I insisted she look into my bag and there was one item from the Antique Emporium with the receipt after she realized I did not steal anything she could not even apologize to me. I am sorry you are only used to seeing white clients and that a brown girl happily shopping made you feel threatened today. To other POC looking for antiques stores AVOID this one. read more

I loved going to this store for years but lately the cashiers have made the experience unbearable by talking about their hateful political beliefs loudly. I will no longer be giving them my business because it feels like a discriminatory environment. read more

The one thing I like about this place is the most of the merchandise is old, not all, but most. Not too many smalls, more furniture and large pieces. I love this place, my daughter and I always find great pieces here, perfect for upgrades in your home, great for unique gifts, my family says the best gifts they have gotten are form me and this is one of the places I get them. It is really disorganized, and sometimes there are no staff around to help you, but they are good hearted and polite once you find them, just a short staffed collective. So many treasures, if you have not been its worth going a really wide range of items and prices. But they must heat the back half of the store- its like stepping into Antarctica back there, we literally ran away from that part of the store!! read more
