Been going to this place for last 7~8 years, price is more expensive than going to a big box store but it's very convenient and also whenever I encounter a problem with the keys they cut, they immediately takes care of me. Recently bought a replacement Lexus key shell online and took it in to get it cut, they used to charge $15 to cut but now $20, no big deal. Tried it on the car and it didn't work, so I drove the car back to them, Matt end up dealing with me, he spent 10 minutes redoing the key, went out to the car, still didn't work. Then he spend another 10 minutes in the office, this time he got it to work. He told me that somehow key wasn't cut right the first time and once it's bad the key is ruined, so he gave me their key shell which they sell for $45. I was very impressed with his integrity, he could have just told me they don't guarantee their work and I'd have no choice but to pay $45, but Matt chose to deal with this matter with honesty. Definitely recommend this business to anyone with key issues. Super friendly service. I came in here with a spare key stuck in my cars ignition. I was afraid for the worst that I would probably need to replace the whole ignition switch which would then require me to make brand new keys. However they said that wasn't necessary because the spare key wasn't going all the way in the ignition because the key was short and had a big end or butt which is why it wasn't coming out when you try to turn it all the way left. They were able to cut the key flat or skinny in order to push the key all the way in the ignition so that it would come out and it worked! The spare key is still functional but I'm glad I didn't have to spend extra money for the ignition or parts. They saved me so much money and time. read more

After having my replacement and backup keys cut to multiple dwellings at big box stores only to have to jiggle them to get them to work, I got fed up and decided to try a real locksmith. I used a known perfect copy and the key they cut worked perfect the first time. It worked just like one that had been well worn: no jiggling, no "tricks" to make it work. So, I returned with another set, and again: a perfect copy. I am done with big hardware stores where they have real locksmiths: Give them a well cut copy or original and you will walk out with perfect copies. I also like that they carry keys with LEDs mounted on them so there's no need to leave your porch light on nor juggle a light, your key and whatever else you are holding. I plan on having all my keys cut here from now on. They cost a bit more than big box stores, but the cost difference is paid: every time you use the key without a hassle is worth another penny or two. My wife's fob ran out of battery, and initially we thought we would either have to spend hundreds of dollar at a dealer to get it fixed, or pry the stupid key open ourselves and figure out how to replace the battery inside and reprogram. Kudos to Matt! Our electronic locking mailbox wouldn't open, apparently because the batteries died, and my paycheck was in there! We had tried to follow the manufacturer's instructions to get it to open, including the "drilling instructions" they provided when we bought it. (Doh! Bad idea!) So, after drilling, there was no saving the mailbox but it was still locked. Matt came out on a Saturday and fiddled with the mechanical elements of the lock until finally the door popped open and we got our mail. Still need a new box, but Matt sure saved the day. read more

Had a key broken in our money drawer here at work. Our technician was Matt. He was great. Worked really hard getting the broken key out. And when he finally did, I handed him the other piece of the key just to show him thinking how silly the situation was but he surprised me by saying he could use the two pieces to make copies of the key so that I would not have to replace the entire lock. He went down to his car and was able to make 2 copies, came back up to double check that they would work and they did! Saved me the money of having to replace the lock. FAST and Friendly service with GREAT Prices. I just had remotes programmed for a 2003 Grand AM that was quick and easy at just $35. The day before I called A-1 Locksmith and they wanted $125 to program just one remote and $175 for two. Talk about over inflated prices. I have gotten my house locks changed a couple times by Centerville Locksmith and they always done a great job. I just never new they programmed FOBs. He asked for photos to be emailed and he would call me back. After not hearing for 2 hours, I called, talked to another man that didn't know about my issue but assured me that they did get my email and would have the first man call me back. I never heard back. Our front door deadbolt had gone out--it was stuck and wouldn't lock--and I called Centerville Locksmith. They gave me a 4 hour arrival window, but Wesley was actually at the house within about an hour of my call. I'd recommend Centerville Locksmith instantly!!! My wife locked herself and our small children out of the house by accident and called at first..... some random $15 fee etc etc locksmith company to come out. The guy at this crappy company wanted to charge my wife$15 to come out, $25 to assess the lock, then $169 to open the door... then... said he needed to charge $250 because he was gonna have to drill it! My wife called me and I told her to send that guy packing. Long story short, I looked up these guys at Centerville Locksmith and spoke to a guy named Eric on the phone. He understood the situation and sent a guy right away to our home in Fremont. The guy he sent was named Gene and was so very nice and professional. These guys are superb! I needed keys made for a heavy duty Master lock. A simple job, right? So I thought. Tried 4 home Depots, 2 Wal Marts, Lowe's and Dale Hardware. Of all the places, only Dale had the blanks but of the 7 keys they made, none worked. No one else could even figure out which blank to use. Called 2 other locksmiths and because they're mobile locksmiths, wouldn't or couldn't duplicate keys. Called Centerville locksmith and asked when they closed (this is on New Year's Eve) and they said they closed in 10 minutes. I told him I was 15 minutes away. He said to come on by. Arrived just after they were supposed to close and within 30 seconds, I had 1 key that worked. Less than 5 minutes later I was walking out the door with 10 keys that worked. After 3 weeks of stopping at places on my way to and from work, it was that simple. I will definitely be using them again when I need anything done. Hello my name eddie an I had a very bad experience there I'll never go back there again.I went to have a car key made for my car an it turn out to be crazy day for me.The first day I went to have a key made spend there at lease 2 hours wait to have my made,no luck.the code machine was not working that day. Day two went back to see if the code machine was working again, they said yes again the guy said he needed my car to make the key after when I waited an 1 more to tell he needed my car.I said ok Again. I'll went back on day 3 an took my car this time. I had to wait 1 hr again. The guy started to make the key was not there that day.The owner did my key an told it will be $ 80.00 for one key. The first guy told me $81.00 for 2 keys.I told the owner the first guy had given me a price two for $ 81.00,but the guy before was not there to comfom the price.I call that very bad bussiness in my part.I'm very unhappy customer an will not go there again God willing.I feel I taken for ride.I hope you people don't go threw the same thing that happen to me.
