The project required a lot of work- not a DIY job for us. He and his team demolished, abated and rebuilt the ceiling. Wow! Such an amazing job. His price was very fair (we didn't have time to get multiple bids- but the price seemed very good). And he started the same day! He also worked during the week of Thanksgiving- coming daily to check on the drying-abatement issue. Additionally he finished strong- with the final touches and cleaning up. His work is very professional- using all right materials to protect our kitchen, equipment and supplies to do the job right. We had a major hail storm with baseball and golf ball's size hail a few months ago and the back side of our house was badly damaged with golf ball's size holes on the hardi siding. We contacted several other roofing companies that were working in the neighborhood and their bids were at minimal, 5 times more that Manuel's bid. We have selected Centex Carpet and Paint over other large Roofing Companies. Manuel was very honest, sincere, kind and considerate. He did not asked us to sign any contracts on the first meeting, and he suggested several options of fixing the back siding. Manuel had waited until the weather was sunny and warm with no rain in the forecast and completed a great job on our back siding. He replaced areas with holes and painted the entire back side of the house. Remember, Manuel's bid was at least, 5 times less than other local and national roofing companies that had their company sign all over the neighborhood. I strongly recommend Centex Carpet and Paint. We will be contacting Manuel in a few months to paint our house and replacing the carpet. read more

I hired Centex to repair carpet in 2 of my rooms. In one I needed the carpet to be stretched and a hole seamed. Then in the other room, a larger hole seamed (damage from a kitten). A 5star review won't do justice to how great Manuel and Maria are. We are preparing to put our house on the market. I started repainting my daughters pink walls and quickly realized this is going to take a lot longer than I realized and even worse than that I could tell it wasn't going to look all that great either. I'm just getting around to this review now, even though Manuel and Maria totally bailed me out in early 2013. I didn't know how I could praise them enough! I was panicked about having to move and sell my house on short notice. There were several bad stains left by my friend's dog and all for years, and I didn't want the future buyer to claim a carpet allowance. Manuel totally came to my rescue! He was calm and good natured and professional and quoted extremely reasonable rates. He came on very short notice. He also gave me fantastic prices for painting and dry-wall repair, which I would have entrusted to him if I hadn't already hired someone else. The house was also in need of a deep clean, and he suggested having Maria, his wife, take care of that. She was also very professional and nice and reasonably priced, and she was _extremely thorough_! She got some stains off the banisters that I had wrestled with for at least an hour. She also swept and cleaned the garage, which was a big mess after the geckos (gecko poop on walls!) and rats, and who knows what else had snuck in! They both did an amazingly spectacular job, and used my spare key to get access to the house long after I had moved states! My realtor saw the house afterwards, and I got letters from the buyers praising what good care I had taken of the house, which was not true at all -- all my offers were way above listed price! We had some water damage in our house that extended to our office and our dining room. Our carpet in both sides was completely soaked through and so were the walls. Manuel came out, tore out the carpet foam, and put out a dehumidifier and a bunch of fans to start the drying process. By the next morning everything was dry. It was still a 3 day process and Manuel was out here every single day (that included Saturday and Sunday!). On Sunday afternoon him and his wife came to put in new foam, repair the entire carpet that was lifted up, inspect everything to make sure there was no more humidity in the walls and floor, and also to wash the carpet! Whoopee! Manuel and his wife are genuinely nice, caring people. They will go above and beyond and provide great service for a great price.
