Even had them do an oil change. Great value for high quality repairs that won't break the bank. Friendly, courteous, and professional shop. I'm writing this as a repeat customer, which is why this experience was so disappointing…read more We recently decided to hold off on a repair for our van. Earlier that day, my husband was on the phone with the mechanic and asked whether he could text that same number to follow up. The mechanic answered, "You're talking to me, right?" so my husband texted to let him know we were holding off on the work. We had no way of knowing it was the shop's landline, and it was never mentioned. A week later, the mechanic called asking if we were still bringing the van in. When I explained that we had already texted to cancel, he became short and dismissive, told me he had blocked off the entire day, and waved off the fact that we had reached out by saying, "Yeah, you texted the shop phone." When I pointed out that he had told my husband to use that number, he said "yeah, yeah" and hung up on me. I understand that a last-minute change can be frustrating for a business, and if there was a mix-up about which number to use, that is worth clarifying for future customers. But responding to a paying customer by talking over them and hanging up is not professional. We won't be returning. Good mechanics are worth keeping, but basic respect for your customers should come standard.

This location was previously Mike's Auto for more than 20 years, and was sold to the new owner…read more They provided consistently good service. The new owner is running things a bit differently, and I'm unsure of the experience of his team. Several of the adjacent shops recently closed and were still vacant. I'm not sure what the future holds for this building. Positives The new owner seems to be fully staffed. They check in your car and enter it into a database. They appear competent and efficient. However, I did not have any major repairs today. Today, I did an oil change and safety check, and it came out to a little over $140. ($30 for the safety check.) They seem to be relatively busy, and we have serviced all three of our vehicles here. It appears that they are set up to do most servicing and repairs. I will update my review if I need to do something other than an oil change. Negatives They accept credit cards, but I found out that they add a 3% surcharge. Unfortunately, I was informed about the charge as he was running the card. I offered to pay with my debit card, but he said it was too late. He simply tried to push the cancel button repeatedly and said, "Sorry." Suggestion For better customer service, he should have offered to do a refund and then use my debit card. Also, post a sign at the counter about new policies or charges.
