No one can *make* you practice good oral hygiene; regular care is not a luxury, it's a responsibility. The dentists with Drs. Kremer, Forbes & Associates have always been very up front with me about my areas for improvement and things to look out for as I get older. They offer general dentistry, restorative care, and cosmetic dental services all in the same office. I am always impressed with advances in dental technology, my most recent experience being a three-dimensional scan of my upper and lower teeth. Gone are the days of biting down on trays to get an impression! This scan even shows areas where my teeth are experiencing more impact, potentially making me a candidate for an Invisalign experience. Amazing stuff! The office staff is always friendly and organized, and scheduling is super easy. Even if I have to make changes, they have always been flexible with either my appointments or appointments for my children. This practice takes most dental insurance, but be sure to check before making an appointment for services. Kremer & Forbes has a great location, excellent staff, and outstanding dentists that I trust with my dental care.

Also, my father has cancer and needed a dental clearance for a bone strengthening infusion- despite going in person twice (once for the checkup, then again to follow up on needing the letter) to tell the dentist office and provide fax/contact info, the next time we went to his medical doctor, they still had not received the dental clearance letter.

So I was at a hobby lobby waiting to buy some yarn so I can finally finish my husband's codpiece for a costume we're working on. I looked over to see a cute little boy grabbing for some candy-while his mom kept saying no! Although I lost my teeth due to an autoimmune disorder-I let the child know that he did not need the candy or he would lose his teeth. He gave me a disgruntled look and went about his business while Mom thanked me. He would occasionally look over at me just to *make sure* I knew that I ruined his candy grab. This is when I took the opportunity to adjust my denture, although I never really need to adjust it because it's a perfect fit, but I needed to drive my point home had the kid been able to tell that my teeth were fake- this would have never worked out! And truthfully, every day of my life is better because I have teeth that look real and feel natural- today was just a funny situation that I wanted to share. I meet a lot of people that can really use the services at Summit, although it makes for very awkward conversation if they don't know about my situation- but you're obviously reading the reviews for a reason so I'll tell you what sealed the deal for me. I am certainly no stranger to dentists and all things dental related. My patience had been at the end of the line before I met Dr Calloway. He listened carefully, he understood my very complicated situation, and presented me with a plan. At the time I was working with several other dentists who just weren't hitting the mark for me. I was quick to throw Calloway at the top of my list just based on our very straightforward initial consultations. It was shortly after this thought when Dr Calloway leaned back into his counter with his arms crossed and a massive grin and told me something like "I can't wait to give you the perfect set of teeth" Although we're still working towards a full denture, my interim piece is pretty amazing. Of course there's always an adjustment period-but it didn't take very long for me to get back to a normal routine. After a hiatus from Dr.Bridenstein, I called and made two appointments, I did not know about Dr.Boldry until they put myself and daughter into cancellation appointments so we got in sooner. But they FAILED TO MENTION, NOT IN NETWORK. My insurance covers cleanings and X-rays twice a year. Why would I request someone I would have to be OUT OF POCKET FOR? Nope, sure wouldn't Couple of months later I get the $92.55 bill. Beware, they are SCANDALOUS! Now, they have lost three clients. Way to go Debbie!

The ladies at the desk up front who deal with the business side always make our insurance coverage easy to understand even when I've forgotten some of the details I should know in advance. They make every effort to check on prices of services when I ask, and they can help set up payment plans if needed. They are kind and considerate when I need to reschedule an appointment, and they always welcome my family when we enter the office. Likewise, Dr. Bridenstine makes every effort to be sure dental services are stellar. We have always had a positive experience with his sedation dentistry, and he provides a thorough explanation of options when available. We have only experienced excellence in his work, and we have appreciated how he goes above and beyond to create a positive outcome for his patients. A couple of years ago, I returned to his office two extra times at no charge just so he could alleviate some discomfort I had after a filling needed to be filed a little more delicately. While I was numb, I hadn't noticed. Yet, he made it right a second time even after I wasn't sure about it the first time I returned. Now, that's patience for your patient! All the staff members work diligently to make dental visits pleasant. I have always appreciated their use of soft, professional voices via individual headsets to prioritize communication and timeliness while maintaining privacy. The entire practice operates in a well-orchestrated manner while each employee treats one another with respect and kindness. This place used to be ABSOLUTELY wonderful and has become TERRIBLE! New management and office staff…read moreare RUDE and incompetent. I flew in for procedures that only my dentist could perform in one day and found out my dentist was no longer there when I arrived for my appointment...it had been scheduled for 8 months and the provider gone for a few...didnt get a notification or heads up although my email and address were up to date. I found out they notified other patients, just not me...great customer service, especially since I held off on this work for such a long time and even took a day off of work to fly in early specifically for this. After my experience with this staff face to face, I pin it down to incompetence or laziness. To add to that (and the purpose for this review) I received a bill for my visit FOUR MONTHS LATER....when I did my own investigation (because I truly don't trust this office staff) I saw that the insurance paid their portion of the balance in the early first week of August...the bill I received was dated 11/11...again, incompetence or laziness? I haven't lived in Kansas for many years, but always maintained my relationship with this office because of the OUTSTANDING customer service and communication. The old expectations of awesome service are gone, replaced by new, much lower standards. I would absolutely avoid if at all possible.

It's a pretty busy practice, but they know my name when I come in, and I don't go that frequently (usually twice a year for cleanings and exams). I went to Dr. Willingham this afternoon for the first visit to get a crown put on an old molar that had a huge filling. The tooth finally broke (after 40 years of being filled) and a crown is necessary. Dr. Willingham seems to be very careful and thorough doing this kind of work. He's done other crowns for me, and they've all been fine and given no problems after they were put on. I tend to be a bit resistant to dental anesthesia -- it takes a while for me to become really numb, and it often takes some extra doses to do the trick. Dr. Willingham has been very patient about that, and has been very attentive to whether or not I was feeling any sensation while he's drilling away! I've also been pleased with the dental cleanings I've had here -- the hygienists are pleasant and seem to be very thorough. I tend to get gingivitis easily, but since being on a regular schedule for cleanings every six month my gums are in much better shape. My only quibble has been over billing -- at times I've gotten bills for services that should have been covered by my dental insurance. (It's compounded by the fact that I've got confusing primary and secondary dental insurance.) However, it's always been easy to straighten out any problems, and their staff is good about working with the insurance companies to get my coverage to stretch as far as it can! If you need a good dentist out in JoCo, I can recommend Dr. Willingham and Oak Park Dental.

Rather than focusing on the specifics of my case, the conversation seemed to emphasize why the practice is the best and how great the overall experience would be. I left feeling like I had received more of a sales presentation than a detailed orthodontic consultation. Their pricing was comparable to other orthodontists in the area, so cost wasn't a deciding factor for me. One thing prospective patients should be aware of is that the office offers gift card incentives for leaving reviews. I can't say how much that affects their overall rating, but I do think it's worth knowing when looking at the large number of five-star reviews. Overall, everyone I interacted with was kind, and I genuinely think the quality of treatment here is probably very good. I don't believe I would have had any major complaints if I had chosen this practice. For me personally, though, I place a high value on a detail-oriented approach, especially with orthodontic treatment where small details can make a big difference. (word to the wise kids: do what he's telling you to do even though it sucks for a bit) By that point my teeth had shifted too much so I called up his office a few weeks ago to see what could be done about my bottom row before my wedding next spring. I was greeted with open arms just like old times, just by myself now. He wasted no time once my consultation was done, and I had spacers put in, with bands, brackets, and wires to be installed in 2 weeks. I have had braces again for a week already. I appreciate Dr. Kavanaugh and his staff so much, and they are definitely worth every penny.
