Look at this black Cadillac -- you already know black cars show EVERYTHING, and these folks had her shining like a mirror. Red calipers popping, wheels blacked out, paint gleaming. Phenomenal work. If you want your whip looking brand new without spending all day waiting, the 1-hour express detail is exactly what you need. I keep coming back because they keep delivering. Terrible, might as well just do it yourself or go to a self service. My car looks exactly as it was brought to them. I asked for Express in and out and while I understand it's not a full detail - doesn't even looked like they tried. Almost all areas of the car look untouched. I'm very disappointed with the price being the value is worthless. Almost $50 and I tipped them for doing nothing but cleaning the outside to the extent a free car wash could. I chose the $28 in and out works and I totally got ripped off. While they did an okay job with the front they totally neglected the backseat. I don't expect to get my car detailed for $28 but I do expect to get what I paid for. Still having crumbs from my kids all over the seat and floor is ridiculous. I was on a time crunch so I decided to pay someone else to do it instead of doing it myself and I've learned my lesson. $28 down the drain. read more

this car wash is trash I've ever spent don't even remove the floor mats to vacuum under half washed inside wasn't even cleaned at all for dashboard or doors or anything. Center had a bunch of water in it that they couldn't even wipe out after they put it in there with product. The owner of this place should be ashamed of for charging the charges and given the shit quality that he gives. read more

This car wash is terrible. They wipe down with the same dirty towels. The windshield was so dirty I had to redo it myself. Then you have to ask them to do the back window because they skip it. Then I paid for tire shine and they almost skipped that. Luckily I told them I paid for it. Management has to train their people better read more

They do not care about their customers! I went after I bought my car and there are now a bunch of scratches on my passenger door. All I got was a not our fault. The manager is an @sshole and just kept saying that it was "impossible" that they did it. The front desk lady was just as bad. Didn't want to even call the manager at first to go there. I wanted to give 3.5 stars but that's not an option. I find this car wash does a decent job (not the best, not the worst). Quality seems to have slipped a bit over the past few years. Hoping the updates recently made will help build morale / get service back to where It once was. They have full service car wash, detailing by appointment and self service wash and vacuum available 24/7. This is still a decent full service car wash experience for the money if you are in the Cottage St. Pawtucket area. read more

I've been a patron of Central Car Wash for 10 years and I'm hopeful the economy will allow me to continue my patronage for many years to come. The guys who run this car wash are always pleasant and respectful of your property. they offer a variety of full service car wash/interior cleaning services and they also have multiple car ports and vacuum stations for self service needs which comes in particularly handy when I need to clean off my car quickly during the spring and winter months. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is that they got rid of the little shop attached to the building. i missing having the waiting area. the woman who ran the shop was always incredibly friendly to me and more importantly my clients that I previously worked with. I hope they reopen that area of the building one day. read more

I went to get my car washed today at Central Car Wash because I had a gift card. I did the Works In and Out for $17 and I can honestly say my money and my time would have been better served if I had just waited for it to rain tomorrow. The only thing that appear to be vacuumed in the interior is the drivers side floor mat, nothing is wiped down, and there are still leaves in the windshield! Thankfully I wasn't spending my own money but I will certainty never return. read more

The price is decent for an in & out car wash but something has happened to the quality of the work at this place. They used to do a top notch job but not anymore. $16 is fair and I always tip (visibly) hoping it helps with the job they do but there are still clearly visible dirt marks on my car and the wheels are filthy! I paid $20 for "the works in/out" wash. With a title and a price like that you would assume you would get a good clean in and out. The inside of my car was not cleaned at all just vacuumed, there was still dirt all over. I was told they weren't required to clean the seats and console, even though i paid for the IN and out. The machine cleaned the outside of my vehicle not even a person. Those $20 were paid for a machine to wash the outside of my car and no humans actually working to earn it. I regret giving a tip as its given before you even are given your car. I would not recommend, go somewhere worth your money. read more

I've been going to Central Ave. Carwash for over 20 years. I liked their prices and the quality of the wash, both interior and exterior. I went there the other day, just to get the outside washed, because their prices are too high now, and they don't do as good of a job as they used too. I paid $7 plus $4 just to put that oil shine on the tires. When my car came out, the tires we not done. I told the man three sperate times I paid for the tires to be shined. He spoke poor English, ignored me, and embarrassed me. Previously to this, some of the workers that know me would just do my tires for free, because they know I've been a repeat customer for years! The guy, after ignoring and embarrassing me, asked if I had the receipt, which I had already thrown out. The whole reason I bring my car to the car wash is to keep in clean, and that includes trash. So after going back and forth, I told him to go ask the receptionist. He did not want to do that. Before this whole ordeal occurred, I tipped the guys $3. I would've taken back the top money if I was petty, but since I'm not, I did nothing. I hardly ever write reviews, but I was extremely disappointed in the actions of that worker, especially since I probably have spent 100s, if not 1,000s over a 20 year time period. I had always been treated with kindness and professionalism prior to this incident. Unless this issue is resolved, I will not be going back to Central Ave. Car wash. It's unfortunate. Not to mention, the brake dust was still on the rims, and they didn't dry it properly. read more

In the past I have always been satisfied, but the last time when I asked for the works they didn't even use the brush on my car. When I said something they said 'you didn't ask for the brush'. I bought the in and out package. Wash/dry and vacuum. Well they washed it poorly and did not dry the car. Not to mention somehow got water in my car and the seats were wet. They vacuumed the car and snapped off plastic pieces on my floor mats and broke a cover on my seat. Then they pull your car out for you to get in, and there is so much rock salt on the ground that you have to go home and vacuum again. Worst $12 dollars spent. read more

Absolutely horrible service. Passed car thru without vacuuming rear mats or hatch. They wipe car down half ass still dripping and wet. Paid for undercarriage wash and was blown off by cashier as to where the jets might be to do the undercarriage. The floor is solid and I watched it go thru. They ripped me off for that undercarriage which should be and probably is illegal to charge for a service you don't even have. Then she doesn't giv me my reciept so I can have the armoral applied that I also paid for and when the guy asked for it I went inside to ask for it and the same lady looked as tho I was troubling her and she looked thru the window shrugged at the guy to apply it. Omg I think I paid for it. I am in customer service and this place is way out of control. To boot an employee maybe a manager of sort walked in with his and her coffees and while they were applying the armoral I had to beg for they were talking about me with smerks on there facees maybe cause I caught the fact that they don't even have undcarraige service.
