After paying 8+grand each lense, and, after my last surgery in early April, several adjustments, secondary cataracts, and close to 20 visits to work on this issue, I cannot read road signs clearly until right next to them. Reading is a chore, and sitting in my living room watching TV and not seeing lettering clearly is a frustrating outcome. I have floaters, eye sight that changes and very sensitive to lights in stores and at times, a tipsy feeling because the eyes are not adjusted to each other... I personally don't recommend these high cost lenses. Two glasses techs have told me at least 10-15 people regret these lenses and the are unsatisfied. This is not to say some may be happy with them, but I definitely had much better vision before the surgery. The refering doctor I believe is really trying to help me. He has seen me countless times and is very kind and I believe sincere. I feel a refund is in order if my eyes do not result in quality vision and being able to drive safely. This has impacted the quality of my life and I cannot endorse these lenses. Other people need to hear about these high cost lenses and NOT be oversold on them!

Dr. Lymberg treated my dear friend for Glaucoma only to tell her she would be blind by June! Of…read morecourse this completely devastated her and put her into a great depression. Then the doctor told her he would not do any more treatment to help her. She asked for her medical records to go to a different specialist and they told her "No" and then after much fuss told her she could have her records for $25. Now mind you my friend is in her mid-70s and on a fixed income and they know this. They were so rude and didn't care about my friend. They told her they had the best specialists and there was nothing else left for her to do except go blind. After some deep research and prayer we got my friend an appointment with the chief surgeon at the Shiley Eye Institute in San Diego, Dr. Weinreb. They didn't even need her records and did all of their own testing and did surgery the next week! She didn't go blind and her eyesight is improving weekly! A miracle! If you have a glaucoma and want to be treated with dignity do not go to Dr. Lymberg. I originally posted this review in March 2016 and my friend still has her eyesight!

They won't tell you when your appointment time is until late in the afternoon the day before your…read moresurgery. This causes stress to the patient and whomever gives the patient rides to and from surgery. I NEVER have high blood pressure, but I had it before surgery because of the stress for days of logistics of unknown appointment time. They are apparently trying to squeeze appointments together as cancellations come in to save themselves staff wages? Because of this squeezing, one's appointment can then also easily be delayed by mishaps, including people's surgery being delayed because of their high blood pressure caused by the abusive failure to give patients a firm appointment time until less than a day before surgery. They just did my first cataract surgery right in one of the several assembly line bays for people prepping for surgery. I believe they were SUPPOSED (by law?) to do this surgery in the fully equipped surgery room where they did my second cataract surgery. I bet they did it in the bay rather than take the time to move me to the proper surgery room. They obviously don't care about treating patients and patients' family and friends well. Maybe they can be motivated in their own self interests, because they shoot themselves in their own foot when surgeries are delayed because of high blood pressure that they have stupidly caused erroneously thinking that whipsawing patients' appointment times will save the center time. There was also a gentleman freaking out in the waiting room. His family members told me he was having anxiety attack because of how they had whipsawed his appointment time. One of the staff told me high blood pressure delays happen a lot there--that is is normal anxiety about surgery--I beg to differ--much is surely caused by their abusive handling of patients.
